Potential Deal

A tiny shaking voice leaked out of Hazel's mouth.

"Oh...."

Her legs wouldn't stop shaking whenever she looked at the Devil. Her gaze could never escape his, leaving her helpless and terrified. Squirming around in her chains she tried to use any of her power to do anything. She couldn't even get a rain drop of energy to work. They had completely cut off all use of their Astral Energy. With that realization, Hazel stopped struggling as she accepted the reality in front of her. "It's over." All that high and mighty aura she carried around vanished, she reverted into a small scared child who was afraid of the dark. The Devil lurking in the shadows this time wasn't just her imagination.

"It's good to see you two awake, Hazel, Hunter."

His calm icy voice sent cold shivers through her body.

"....Where are we?"

"Ehh, just some rundown room I found. No need to try digging for information Hunter, you won't find any. You also can't use any of your powers, so you're essentially just a normal human at the moment. I doubt either one of you could escape in this situation."

A grunt of frustration left Hunter as he studied Xilo and the room around him. Blades and other tools like knives or rope lined the walls that he clearly recognized. "So that's what he wants." His mind was catching up to the situation with each second he was awake. Almost laughing at the stupidity of it all, Hunter would never tell them a thing. On the other hand Hazel would probably crack pretty easily and that was something Delfex had longed planned for. She knew very little information and the stuff she did wouldn't give Xilo any help. Even though it seemed like Xilo was in control, Hunter knew that wasn't the case.

"Do you think we would tell you anything even if you torture us?"

"Eak."

A scream of fear left Hazel once Hunter confirmed her thoughts.

"How else would I know unless I give it a try, is there any reason I shouldn't."

Xilo got closer to Hunter and took out a knife, twirling it in his hand Xilo shoved it straight into Hunter's shoulder. Piercing his skin, Xilo dug the blade in deep and twisted it. Xilo was well aware that they wouldn't tell him a thing. When he thought about how much pain and suffering they had caused Tearia and Relia though he couldn't stop himself. That sickening urge to break them, see them scream and cry out in pain crawled along Xilo's skin. It begged him to shove the blade deeper, to see how much it'd take to make them scream. "They deserve it." Telling himself that in his head Xilo tried to justify this feeling, to make it feel he was in the right.

Another knife entered his hand that he pointed at Hazel. Her eyes went wide in fear as she watched it come closer. Panicking she tried to inch backwards like it would save her. "No, no, no." Shaking her head small whimpers left her mouth as tears started to roll down her cheeks. When it came to this kind of stuff Hazel was an absolute coward, she would break down in an instant. She always acted tough when she thought she could win but the moment that turned around she broke. "Please!" Like a scared child Hazel tried to find anyway to save herself. Glancing around the room she spotted Tearia in the corner of the room watching her as an idea came to mind.

"Wait!"

Pausing, Xilo listened to Hazel, Hunter could already feel his patience for Hazel disappearing.

"She's an idiot."

Rolling his eyes he let it play out, Hazel wasn't of any use to them anymore and if she betrayed them it was a good excuse to get rid of her in the future.

"What is it?"

Swallowing the last bit of saliva in her throat Hazel's eyes glanced around nervously as she spoke.

"I'm...sure I can be of use to you, I don't know much but I can tell you everything I know! A-an-and...I can do anything you ask. It doesn't matter. Just like the girl over there, I'm sure I could...help with needs."

Hearing that Xilo's knife paused mid air as he took a close look at Hazel, seeing that Hazel felt herself calm down. Xilo gave up focusing on Hunter as he moved closer to Hazel. Dropping his knife to the ground, he lightly smiled as he looked at Hazel. She was an above average woman, that was something he had to admit. Feeling his glare disappear Hazel felt some confidence come back. "Maybe he likes me?" Looking at his kind smile Hazel had to admit even if he was scary, he was quite handsome. After that whole terrible experience with Delfex she had long given up on loving any kind of man, so to be used as a toy for her life wasn't so bad to her.

"Is that so?"

Grabbing Hazel's pretty face with care and delicacy Xilo rubbed her cheek.

"..Yes."

Flinching at his touch Hazel felt his breath touch her face. Watching from the side, Tearia had only one word in mind. "Idiot." She knew all to well herself how Xilo was about these things, having experienced it first hand. Now she was on the opposite end and knew exactly how he felt. "I almost feel bad." Rubbing her cheek Xilo felt her soft skin between his fingers. In a moment though his nails started to grow longer as two of them transformed into blades. Gliding them across her skin, he cut her pretty little face up as blood travelled wherever he went. Completely destroying her pretty face, Xilo showed no mercy in creating any scars. Enjoying the soft touch Hazel felt her face turn on fire as pain attacked her. Screaming out loud as claws dug into her she felt herself crying tears of blood as the Devil returned in full force.

"If you're so eager to help me with my needs Hazel, then die for me. You're completely useless, have zero strength, zero redeemable qualities and are ready to betray your people at a moment's notice all for your selfish want to live. If you think a pretty face is all it takes to make it in this world then I'll make sure you don't feel pretty again. Could you even survive after that, I guess we'll find out together."

With a grin Xilo felt Hazel pass out in his arms.

"Stop wasting our time already, that whore isn't worth it."

Hunter was over this little game.

"Eh, she's more worth it then you suddenly."

"I see, you also get excited at torturing people. I figured me and you had some simularities, since there's no way you're dumb enough to do this with the goal of information in mind. Hazel as you see is too stupid to have anything of Value and I'll never break. This area is my expertise."

Twitching hearing Hunter's taunts, Xilo couldn't deny deep down a part of him felt good.

"I'm not doing it because I enjoy it, I'm doing it because you both deserve this. It's as simple as that."

"Oh, looks like I overestimated you then. You're just trying to fulfil some selfish petty revenge. I thought you were better than that, guess I was wrong. The goodie goodie "Hero" getting revenge for someone else. That's probably how you try and justify it anyway, I can tell from the look in your eyes that you're enjoying it. No matter how hard you try to hide it, you're pretty similar to me. It feels good, doesn't it, hearing their cry's? Watching them Break?"

"....Do you ever shut up?"

"Nope.."

Trying to fight off the thoughts in his head Xilo stood up and brushed his hands off before he went any further. "I need a minute." Hearing Hunter's taunts along with that growing urge to hurt them Xilo knew he had to calm down. If not he might seriously do something he regretted. "I'm...not a monster." Leaving the room without a word Xilo went to the back garden to get a breath of fresh air. Watching Xilo leave, Katrin glanced at their two prisoner's and sighed. "Looks like he is too soft after all." Katrin had watched everything very closely since the beginning. "If he won't though, I will." Hunter had a lot of information in his head that could be very useful to her if she got it.

"Hi Hunter, remember me?"

With a beaming smile Katrin introduced herself.

Enjoy.
