Lots Of Pain Ahead

"What did you do!"

Shouting she surprised even herself as she threw the bars open and grabbed Xilo. "Monster...." Repeating that in her head she looked at the boy with some slight fear as she locked his body down with Astral Energy preventing him from moving. If he could heal his injuries this fast she wasn't willing to take any chances of him having all of his strength back. "It looks like I'll have to speed things up a little earlier than I initially planned." Glaring down at him she stomped her foot on top of his leg and began to crush it while she asked once again.

"What did you do?"

Feeling his leg getting crushed he finally bothered to pay attention as he looked up to meet Althea's eyes unphased. "What is she on about." Not really understanding what she meant he just told the truth.

"Nothing?"

"Don't lie to me, how did you heal so fast"

Digging her foot in harder she pressed him for answers.

"I don't even know what you're talking about."

Sighing he didn't want to continue this is little game, to him this was normal and she just looked crazy. "It's always been like this...right?" Putting his doubts away he watched as her glare wavered for a second before returning to normal after lifting her foot off his leg however he still couldn't move completely. "She seems so on edge suddenly." She had only been gone for an hour or so and yet she seemed completely different from the first time he had seen her. "What exactly happened?" Wondering that his eyes never left her face as he watched her pace across the room.

"Is this natural for him...?"

Whispering that under her breath she didn't sense any lying coming from him but she still couldn't believe it. "If that's the case he's a lot more freakish than I thought and dangerous....Looks like I need to cripple him now before it's too late." Wincing at the thought of it happening so soon she felt a little depressed. She thought she would have a little more time to prepare herself but it looks like her plans had changed. Looking at the boy she tucked her feelings of sorrow and sadness to the back of her head as she looked at him. "he doesn't deserve it, you know better." Telling that to herself she walked up to him and grabbed his face as she crouched in front of him.

"...."

"What?"

Taking a deep breath she stared into his red eyes as flames jumped around inside them and tried to calm herself. "How are you so calm?" Wondering that, she opened her mouth.

"How good are you with pain?"

Smiling, she tried to keep a straight face as she heard his reply.

"....why?

"Because from now on you'll be in a lot of pain constantly."

"I see."

Not saying anything else he didn't break contact or try and struggle free from her grip as he laid there instead he just accepted it without question. "I wonder what she has planned for me.." Feeling a little depressed at the uncertainties of his future he closed his eyes trying to find his little bubble of quiet while he got used to interacting with people once again. "He's just as Beastly as I thought." Watching him accept her words so easily only confirmed how unhuman he really was. No one could easily accept such words especially a child like him. "He isn't human, remember." Telling herself that she sat up as she gathered a ball of Astral energy in her hand and condensed it before looking at the boy one last time before she began. "No point in wasting time." Looking at him as he closed his eyes she stopped putting it off while she was mentally prepared.

"Brace yourself."

Saying that she didn't even give him time to reply as she punched him straight in the gut as hard as she could while she let her Astral Energy run wild in his body without any resistance thankfully. Feeling the air leave his lungs Xilo felt like he was suffocating before his body began to burn from the inside out suddenly. "The hell." He didn't know what was happening but he didn't like it however he couldn't move at all. Feeling his rib cage slowly beginning to crack he felt his chest as collapsing as he tried to breath however it was pretty pointless. He couldn't do anything in that moment no matter what he tried to do. "She's burning my Astral Energy." Feeling her Fire enter every portion of his body as it grew hotter he felt the residue of his energy try to defend itself but it didn't matter. His strength was just too weak at the moment to resist her overwhelming flames and they both knew that.

Flinching as she heard his bones crack she tried to keep her concentration on track as she began to burn his body. If she wasn't careful she could end up killing him in seconds and that wasn't what she was after. "I was never good at this." Dispersing her Energy she burned any traces of his where she could as she slowly made her way to the core of his Strength to gain some practice. Within a couple minutes she had finally made it past some of his Astral Energy as she arrived at his core in his chest where the main defense and struggle she would have was. "Time for the real challenge." The residue was just practice to make sure she could do it but destroying the core was going to be a lot different even if he was exhausted. "This is going to take a while." No core would simply let itself be destroyed so it was going to fight back hard with whatever it could regardless of the damage it would cause. It was a defense mechanism the body would use to make sure it was safe that no one could control not even Xilo.

"Time for a night of pain."

Enjoy.
