He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Getting Paid

As Aeon made his way back he made sure to scout out the rest of the place to see if anyone else had snuck their way in. He didn't want any mishaps to happen again if possible, especially if they were patients. He still didn't know what to do with the ones they had caught but he figured handing them over to the Leader of this place was his best bet. "Let him take care of it." Not finding anything he arrived at their door and knocked on it twice. Waiting for the signal that he could come in he gently opened the door.

"I've returned."

He had been gone for about an hour but it seems they were still resting. Eyeing the captured people from the side he shut off their hearing with Astral Energy as he looked around. With Aeon back now XIlo gently woke up Relia and Tearia from their sleep. They could get more rest later but there were things Aeon wanted to discuss. He figured it'd be best if everyone was awake for that, so as much as it pained him to disturb them he had to. Within a few minutes he managed to wake them up on the condition that they were able to lean on his body like a pillow.

"I really have become a human pillow..."

Mumbling that to himself he looked up at Aeon while trying to ignore the two heads poking at his sides.

"You said you wanted to talk about something, what's up?"

"Right, I wanted to talk about that person that attacked Tearia a little bit ago. I noticed he seemed to have space energy and when he finally decided to escape he used an Astral Tool i recognized. I wanted to ask Tearia if she saw anything else from him that maybe I could recognize as well or if she perhaps knew some information herself."

"If you know the tool then do you know where they are from then?"

Answering for Tearia, Xilo took a little bit of control over this conversation. He felt her tugging at his back shirt with every word Aeon said and to him that felt like a sign that she didn't want to talk. Since she was tired he didn't pay it too much mind and listened to her. "Though the tool doesn't really mean he knows who did this." Anyone could have given that man it or he could have gotten lucky. It was hard to say without more information. Thankfully Aeon knew enough about it to know that wasn't the case.

"Yes I think I do, Most likely...The Royal family of Ukel."

"Eh wait, why would our country's family do this though and how can you be so sure that it's them."

Hearing that surprising bit of information Xilo couldn't take that at face value. He didn't really see the gains in their Royal Family going to such lengths on their own people. Maybe if it was another family that would be more believable but this was a hard pill to swallow. Tearia on the other hand shivered in fear as she heard Aeon's guess. "He thinks so as well..." Hiding her head inside Xilo's sleeve she debated speaking up for a couple minutes. After she heard his explanation though she could no longer run from the truth.

"Back in my earlier days I did a lot of research on them and found out about that crystal he used. It's a gift given from the Royal Family only to members inside it. No one else outside of it except for very rare cases. Let's say that a rare case happened here, it still means they know what's happening. So it is extremely likely that they're behind this, which is why I wanted to ask Tearia about it even if I'm not hopeful."

Listening to Aeon's explanation Xilo looked down at Tearia who had poked her head out as her face went slightly pale. Worried for a second he tried to ask her what was wrong but she stopped him as she looked at Aeon. Facing him she suppressed her fears and thoughts as she tried to push the words out. She had hoped she was wrong at first but if Aeon's words were true then there was no denying it. "Felli.." She didn't know what Felli was doing but she would do her best to see her again.

"Uhm...I noticed something when fighting him."

"And that is?"

"He uh...had similar energy to a friend of mine. I didn't know until recently but someone told us she was a part of the Royal Family here..Their step daughter apparently. It's not really proof I guess but I figured I should say something."

"....Step daughter, I see. You think since they were similar they are also related."

"I do, that man also seemed like he wanted me to know that as well. Though I don't really know why."

"Haa..."

Sighing Aeon digested that information in silence for a few moments. After he asked her a couple more questions that didn't get him anywhere else as he came to his own conclusion. "I'll have to talk to Telan too but this is good enough for now." Looking at the group in front of him he debated what to do as he grabbed the people he captured with his hands. Regardless of what happened next they had finished the job assigned to them so they needed to be paid. After that they could decide what they did next. " It's for the best that they don't get involved." Involving them in a problem potentially this big was stupid.

"Alright you four, come with me."

Dragging around the captives they would first hand them over to the leader before they started to head back to the city. Once they were there he would pay them and have them move on to something else. Then he could talk to Telan in private about this and see if he found anything else that confirmed his ideas. Once that was over they would have to figure out what they're up to and how to stop them.

"The truly hard part...how do we stop them. I couldn't in the past and I certainly can't now."

Enjoy.
