Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. With him being ostracized more and more he became less and less of the cheerful young kid he use to be until eventually turning discreet and mute around others in hopes that they would stop being scared of him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Along The Way

"I need to do something." Walking down the street he didn't know what to do, before he left he checked the calendar there and saw that he had even slept for more then two days almost leaving him quite surprised. Thankfully that served as a bit of a wake up call to him as he made his way through the town passing people by. He was depressed and honestly had no idea how to handle all of this, at this rate he would just continue the same pattern which needed to change. So he had decided to move on from this town and try to figure something out that could maybe help him.

"So there's treasure in those mountains."

He remembered back to a couple words he heard from Tearia's Grandfather along with some of the information he had read about a while ago that piqued his curiosity at the time. "If I remember right, a castle had appeared out of nowhere just recently, so quite a bit of people should be scurrying there for whatever they can find....It's not a bad idea." It was something to do and it was something he needed desperately, right now anything was better than huddling himself in his room depressed. "It's a start..." With a little more vigor in his steps he tried to remember it's location as he left the behind a town with some very unpleasant memories.

"So where is he? alive? dead? close? far?"

Spurring off question after question she held the maid hostage in her grasp refusing to let her leave before she heard the answers she wanted. "Hurry up." With some impatience she gripped the girl tighter as she waited for her reply.

"One of our people found traces of dark energy in the country you sent him too in a city not to far away."

"....Is that all?"

Dark energy may be a rare thing but it wasn't like no one else had it so hearing such news made her significantly less excited. "Well I'll still check." Yet the next set of words the maid spoke proved her set of thoughts wrong.

"Apparently that city is currently hunting down a silver haired boy and a purple haired girl called Tearia."

"That has to be him...right?" Regardless if it was or wasn't in the end she was still going to check but her gut was telling her it was. "Though I don't remember hearing anything about someone named Tearia.." She had heard about another woman that travelled with him but if she was remembering correctly Yilel mentioned something about her having red hair "Another one already? Well whatever not like It matters either way once I find him." Relaxing her grasp on the girl she was holding she quickly pushed her away as she began some of her preparations for the journey. "I should be good to last about a month." Xilo was her link to the outside world that kept her safe but without him right by her side she could only last so long out there until her life was in danger so she had to be fast.

"I also need to talk to Yilel a little bit....Though I think I'll keep this from her for now."

She knew how that girl would act and she didn't really want to deal with it right now if possible. She had a lot more important things going on and so did Yilel so it was best to just make up some sort of excuse and move on with it. "She'll get her chance anyway." That is of course after she was done with Xilo or if she was confident Xilo would beat her without a sweat but at Yilel's current rate of growth she severely doubted that. "Scares even me almost." She went from the fourth stage to the Sixth already in the span of a month or two already with just a little help. That was already around the time it took her to do similar so it was quite impressive.

"Maybe we'll both get what we want one day...."

Looking around at the blank pathway in front of her, she was starting to feel an endless boredom rule her brain as she walked without any direction. "I'm bored." Ever since she had started walking she had only saw trees, trees and more trees." Oh and a path." No Astral Beasts had even tried to fight her even so was beginning to lose it. "Maybe I should make a goal to follow." SHe didn't really know much about all this exploring thing but she figured it might go better if she had something specific in mind.

"I guess..."

Trying to be cheerful Tearia began to think of some of things she could do as her footstops made marks in the grass wherever she walked. "I can find an Astral Zone, find stray Beasts, visit different countries....or find Treasure?" Remembering something her Grandfather mentioned a couple times a smile came to her face as she thought about it more deeply. "I can get a little stronger as well as make some money along the way...It's not a bad idea really and who knows maybe I'll find something of use for me there." She knew a lot of people were probably heading there recently too so if she was lucky she might stumble upon something rare or even. "Xilo." But that was just a small part of the reason she had that in mind. Truthfully if she saw him there she wouldn't know where to begin so it was better if he wasn't.

"Some alone time is good."

Thinking about where it was located she turned a little bit and started walking in the direction of the place. Unfortunately for the both of them a lot more people had the same idea in mind then they could have both imagined. With hundreds of people from all around the country swarming the area scurrying for things it was going to be a rough competition if they wanted anything.

A busy for me unfortunately :c Sorry and happy holidays

Enjoy.
