A Small Fight

Standing in front of the two of them, Xilo was a little surprised by the results. "The weapons are different from what I remember." When he had initially picked up Icebreaker he had asked Tearia to grab everything else she could including more similar weapons to his own. At the time though they were a sword and a bow from what he noticed, not a pair of fists or a staff. "I guess they changed based on who they're connected to." It was the only explanation he could come up with for the changes that had occurred but that was fine. These weapons fit them a lot more than the ones from before.

"...Thanks..Xilo."

"Thank you as well, I'm sure these will come in handy in the long run. You'll have to tell me where you found them at some point."

"Another time, for now just know those things eat up at your Astral reserves like crazy so be a bit careful with them. Other than that, I think that's everything so let's head to bed. Tomorrow we'll be escorting some people and it'll either be really tough or easy depending on how it goes. We should be prepared for it."

Sitting up from the bed, Xilo went to the bathroom to get ready for sleep. While he was in there though he heard the sounds of heavy moving objects as he sighed. "Not gonna escape from that eh." Already imagining how that was going to be, he put on a new set of clothing. Once he was done he walked out to exactly what he expected with three women waiting for him patiently. Stiffly moving his body he didn't say anything as he laid down. Within seconds Xelfia and Tearia already grabbed either side of him with an aggression he had come to expect. Relia curled herself up like a cat at his legs as well even with enough room to go somewhere else.

"Is this how all nights are gonna be from now on you three?"

"""Of course."""

In harmony their three voices attacked him all at once with zero hesitation.

"Fine, just get some sleep."

Feeling two different pairs of breasts pushed up against his body, Xilo softly fell asleep. Shortly after, they all felt a wave of exhaustion come over them as they fell asleep. Their breathing fell into rhythm as the night went on until eventually morning came. With sunlight peeking through Xilo awoke first with his arms slightly numb. "Right." Seeing two women's bodies sprawled over top of him, he didn't want to move but they had to get going soon. They had slept long enough and now it was time to wake up and get their job done. "Hopefully this goes smoothly." Getting a merchant's approval in some way would be a big step for him.

"Connects, power, bonds. What do I do to put that all together, how do I put it in words?"

He still remembered freezing up and not being able to explain himself to Telan properly and that was something he wanted to fix. It felt like the word he was after was on the tip of his tongue but he just couldn't find it. "Time to get up." Pushing away that building frustration he moved the girls off his body as he woke them up. One by one he woke them up as he was greeted with a kiss by Xelfia and Tearia. Even Relia seemed to want something from him so he ended up giving her head pats before her silent stare killed him.

"Scary...."

Once they all got ready they headed out the door and to the north exit of the city that they were told to meet up at on the job Once they were there Xilo noticed a big gathering of people as he broke his way through the crowd. In the middle of it all He saw a merchant's cart a little bit far off in the corner of his vision but what caught his attention the most were the two people fighting. In the middle stood a woman and a man that we're beating each other up without mercy. Seeing everyone crowded around it like it was kind of a show, Xilo felt a little sick as the man fell to the floor with what looked like a broken jaw and instantly passed out.

"Gross."

Disgusted with the people around her, Xelfia tightened her fists as they walked up to the merchant. With the fight over the crowd began to disperse leaving only a few rough looking people and the merchant herself. Stopping in front of the man though Xilo bent down ready to make sure he was still alive until a voice stopped him. Looking up he saw the woman that had been fighting staring directly at him. She had light pink hair in a ponytail that went down to her butt with a mix of red that highlighted the edges. Unlike Xelfia's beauty, Tearia's elegance or Relia's cuteness this woman's looks were favoured more towards sexy.

"Don't help that piece of trash, he deserved it."

With power and anger oozing through her voice, Xilo felt the confidence in each of words as he paused. He wasn't going to help the man anyway, he just wanted to see if he was still alive at least though. Once he heard the man's shallow breath he left him alone as he faced the woman in front of him and smiled. Giving her a slight wave as a greeting he turned around ignoring her as he went to the merchant to check up on the details of this job and to make sure this was the right place. Watching the silver haired boy walk away from her without blinking, the pink haired woman felt a slight itch of irritation as she stared at his back. Seeing where he was heading though she slightly smiled as she walked away.

"So you're helping these people out too, good then we'll have plenty of time to get to know each other."

Leaning against a nearby wall she scouted the place out as she took out a water bottle from a pouch and took a drink while she calmed herself down.

"Maybe this trip won't be so boring after all."

Right now she was in a bad mood so it was best to wait until she had calmed down a bit before she did anything stupid again. She had already beaten up one jerk that managed to set her off and it wasn't even the afternoon yet. She really didn't want to make it a second as well. She was usually a kind person but she had a short fuse especially for creeps like the dude passed out in the street. "Be more nice to strangers." Taking a deep breath she sorted out her emotions as the merchant got everything set up to go.

"Alrighty people, it will take a couple days to get to our destination so let's get moving."

Hearing the merchant's call she walked up the crowd of guards prepared for what was to come.

A bit late today, sorry :c

Enjoy.
