The Catastrophes...

Half a year. An entire half year's worth of rigorous training.

That's the time I have spent conditioning my body for hours at a time.

Especially during this month of training, I have gained massive leap in stats.

But this was nothing compared to how high leveled some of my passive skills were.

And it was all due to figuring out a little trick regarding the system when it came to acquiring starts by training, or repetitious exercise. Initially, I set a certain routine using Saitama's list of workouts...

The trick here was increasing each exercise by a multiplicative +10% each time, so if I did 10 pushups and gained some amount of strength, I would need to do 11, then 12 then 14 then 15 then 16 then 18 and so on...

This would sound ridiculous, but after a while, the increments of strength I would gain would increase in conjunction, thus making it worth it.

Though, at the beginning, I couldn't even do half of it. But after pushing myself at an inhuman rate, abusing my regeneration, I got away with it, with having a bonus with a decent physiology.

I realized that my 'player' side had incredible potential when it came to my physical growth, especially with regards to gains with training.

I gained points faster than normal, with my theory revolving around it, causing a butterfly effect. It seemed like the system didn't really acknowledge this as much of a boost, since it was probably around 10-15% faster than I remember, when compared to the OG gamer.

But that didn't matter to me much. I was still glad to make considerable progress. If I were to compare myself now, I was about as strong as jin was when he was around 12-14?

Which was really powerful, especially being at my current age, in comparison to canon Jin.

Looking at my stats after I was done with the last lap in the forest, I was pleased.

-------------------------------

'Yup, my gains were awesome!'

Even though I was still incredibly weak, I could at least hold my own against regular punks. I was a little two times stronger than the strongest man alive back on my original earth, and definitely tougher. I could lift a little over 1 ton with mild difficulty.

This was mostly caused by my body conditioning passive, but it is what it is.

I even got 3 more perks to help boost my overall prowess. With even losing most of my baby fat. Though this didn't really go unnoticed by Mother, but I made up 'decent' excuses as to why I was growing small muscles so quickly.

The first new passive became apparent with its effects. It made training seem like a movie/montage. Essentially, I could see myself doing my exercises at 10x speed or greater. Which was very convenient, as my body automatically pushed itself past its limits with each exercise.

However, not everything went smoothly, one of the downsides to all of this was my inability to unlock my 'ZET' form. I tried a bunch of ways to do it, but after a while, I chalked up the reason to being 2 things.

1. I/my body wasn't mature enough for the power as yet.

or

2. I must experience some sort of tragic event, or go through a life or death situation.

None of which I will test out, for obvious reasons.

My next inability came down to my perks. I haven't unlocked any so far, even though I have passed the threshold that the OG gamer did normally.

This eventually led me into thinking that god made tweaks to them, so I will have to wait and see... but for now. I'll be thankful and celebrate my current progress.

With everything done for the day. I left to head back to the orphanage.

----------------------------------------------------

"What the?'

On my way there. I saw a large black truck with multiple men in black suits loading the kids into it.

'Oh! NO!!'

Without hesitation, I ran.

With all my power. With all the speed I have, I arrived, startling some of them.

I charged at two of the men there, stopping them from doing what they were doing. Using my immense strength, hitting them in vital areas. Not aiming to kill, rather to disable them...

Permanently.

"SHIT!! WE HAVE ANOTHER ONE HERE, AND HE'S TAKEN OUT TW-"

I dashed towards him, silencing him with a strike to throat, destroying his wind pipe. But not before he could tell the others about me.

'SHIT!!!!'

I said mentally, trying to wrap my head around what was going on at the moment. This whole situation was making no sense. It was happening all too suddenly.

'Why were they here? Who were they? And what's their purpose?'

Those three questions wrang through my mind, trying to figure this out. But time wasn't on my side.

So I opted to do the next best thing.

finding a place to hide instead.

Quickly doing so. I perched myself onto the top of the Orphanage as stealthily as I could, hearing notifications going off in the process, while trying my best at ignoring them completely.

Seeing several other men in black come out.

It shocked me to see the leader...
