After defeating Elsa and saving Emilia and Felt returning her insignia quite quickly since she not only healed her father figure but also allowed her to keep the Holy Coins that Elsa had she found no use with it, Emilia on the other hand after being saved by Chris was indebted to him and after introducing themselves to one another they had once again met near the stables where the Earth dragon he was going to use to get to Arlam Village was located at.

"Oh don't be so cruel Ram, this is Chris and he actually saved my life!"

'If it weren't for the fact the world would end if you died I wouldn't have cared even if you died.'

Ram looked at Chris with a cold gaze and Chris returned it with his own gaze, but after a few seconds he walked passed her towards the Earth Dragon cart that contained the crates of fruits he needed to deliver.

"Ah, Chris you said you needed to go to Arlam Village for a delivery why don't you go along with us?"

Hearing Emilia's offer Chris finally remembered what was so important with Arlam Village, it was the same Village where most of the first season plot happened. So with a sigh he got on the driver seat of the cart before looking at Emilia and then Ram.

"Fine let's go"

The Overwrite button despite being quite Overpowered still has limitations as the bigger the Change the less effective the ability would become unlike the Reset Button.

After making sure he had the right amount of crates in the cart Chris went along with Ram and Emilia and now they were riding on a clear road in an open field near a gigantic tree.

"What's the name of that tree again?"

Chrkt silently asked himself outloud and despite his voice not being too loud Emilia was able to hear his question

"Oh it's named the Flugel tree they say a saged by the name of Flugel planted it and for some reason it grew to such a ginormous size!"

Emilia then began talking about other things such as the many type of trees even when Chris didn't ask the question directly, it was then that Chris remembered specific detail frok the anime about Emilia despite being physically 18 she had the mindset of someone who was 14.

So instead of being annoyed he kept nodding at her random 'Fun Facts' and other words as Chris didn't want to offend in his eyes a little girl despite Emilia actually being 114.

Ram on the other hand could see what he was doing yet didn't do anything as in her opinion he was right to do so as she does the exact same thing.

Chris looked at the huge tree and wondered if it actually played an important role in the story as being an Anime only fan he didn't know anything about the tree, but soon enough Emilia's voice seemed to have died down and taking notice of this he turned to her to see that she was now sleeping peacefully.

It was the middle of the night so it was only natural for her to be tired, he the towards the Ram and aside from introducing themselves before they left the stable they haven't even spoken to each other.

it took around 4 hours to get to Arlam Village they have been on the road for around an hour, so right now the only thing Chris could do is look at bright night sky that was illuminated by the stars. He was never that much of an astrology geek but he knew more of his fair share of stars.

'Aren't constellations important to the story or something?'

Chris was an anime only watcher of Re:Zero back when he was alive but he knew from some forums that the constellations played a big part of the story, but he didn't think about it any further as he needed to focus on handling the Earth Dragon.

Ram on the other hand was currently looking Chris with a questioning gaze, in her eyes he was a strange individual he had pale white skin purple eyes and black hair which was quite rare. Not to mention the fact that for he had coincidentally had a final Delivery to Arlam Village after encountering and saving someone who was not only staying in the Mathers mansion which was near Arlam Village but someone who was a Candidate for the thrown.

For everything that had happened it was too suspicious but she couldn't do anything as she had remembered the words of her master Roswaal L. Mathers before she went along with Emilia to the capital.

'If you meet anyone strange don't harm them~'

At first she was confused with his words but now with Chris in the picture she wondered how her master was able to know that he would make contact with Emilia, it was as if Roswaal knew what was going to happen.

Meanwhile Chris who was focused was guiding the Earth Dragon finally remembered something, he let the grip of his left hand on the leash of the Earth Dragon go before suddenly an orange and black Panel appeared above it.

Ram who was still watching him saw it, she may not be someone from the world of Undertale but it was already heavily implied that ANYONE from ANY universe could see the physical forms of the buttons. But Ram not knowing English didn't know what the word meant but for Chris it was a simple word.

[SAVE]

He lightly tapped it before it suddenly disappeared, as it was replaced by another panel which was still the same color but this time it had a longer word.

[RESET]

Without any hesitation Chris pressed it and suddenly the whole world froze before it cracked and shattered before finally it seemed to have been remde and now Chris was back to the exact moment he had used the SAVE button.

Normally the RESET button would bring him back to the day he had started his journey to the underground, but he wasn't in the underground so it worked differently.

His version of RESET worked with the SAVE button, in game normally saving would just give you the option to go back to a specific moment while affecting the world when you LOAD. But this time Loading only effect Chris himself so he would SAVE his state and if he were injured he would LOAD his file seemingly returning him back to a point before he was injured, but with RESET he would effect the entire world no matter who Chris could only hope that no one would remember the resets but after using it a few times over the years he was a hundred percent confident no one in the world of Re:Zero could remember the resets.

And he was sure even the witch don't remember the Resets as he was sure that whoever reincarnated home as far stronger than them since if they did remember he wouldn't be alive right now, and he knew Satella wasn't the one who did as he died of natural causes due to a certain sickness which he had obtained in the year 2021.

And in his death he was given two wheels to spin in an empty room with nothing but those wheels, and that was how he came to be reincarnated in the world of Re:Zero.

'Another day another Reset'

Only the SAVE, LOAD, OVERWRITE, and RESET button could be seen by others anything else can't be seen by anyone but Chris

Finally at just about sunrise they had finally arrived at the Village, Ram didn't stop along with him as their destination was the Mathers mansion so Chris said his goodbyes to her since Emilia was still asleep.

Chris was now unloading all the crates filled with different varieties of fruits infront of what he read to be the general foods store, and after unloading all of them he knocked on the door and called out thinking someone would answer.

"Delivery!"

But nobody came.

"Delivery!"

The door opened and ladle was sent to Chris's face.

"Shut up do you know how early it is!?"

And with that the owner of the General store with sleepy eyes and bed hair met Chris.

"Greetings, the names Chris"

"Yeah yeah... Just bring the crates inside..."

The Owner of the store walked back inside before going behind the counter while Chris came inside bringing the crate one by one and soon enough he had finished.

"Here I know I already payed but take it."

The store owner placed a silver coin in the counter to which Chris happily accepted, notw the currency fo this world was quite confusing but Chris was able to get it, a single Holy Coin would be around 100 dollars while Gold coin would be 50 Silver being 10 and Copper finally being 1.

So right now with the single Silver Coin he had happily accepted before leaving and his current savings Chris had enough money to live jobless for around 2 Months, so after taking his belongings out of the cart before they seemingly had disappeared with a bright orange light.

Chris looked at the sun rising in the distance before he saw the image of the Mathers Mansion in the distance, now his quiet life was over and until he was able to use the OVERWRITE button he would need to play guardian angel to make sure that Emilia doesn't die.

'I can't wait to get out of this world'

Chris wasn't planning on staying in this world, he knew that once he obtained the OVERWRITE button he would be able to teleported himself out of this world. Right now he didn't know how it worked but he knew by unlocking the OVERWRITE button he would be able to do it, since if X!Chara a prototype could do it he knew he could do it too.
