Chapter 122: Final Battle 5

In the aftermath of the explosion, the battlefield was eerily silent. The creature looked on, satisfied that its grand spell had worked.

Just as the creature was about to turn away, a flicker of movement caught its eye. From the edge of the crater, a swift creature showed up and grabbed the creature's limbs. Zaine had summoned it to attack the creature while it was still occupied.

Zaine and Amy hid on a spell that Zaine had cast. A protective barrier he learned from the fairies just in time, shielding them from the brunt of the explosion.

But the spell had taken a toll on him, weakening and injuring him.

Amy was by his side, her hands glowing with healing magic as she tended to his wounds. Her face was pale but determined, her focus solely on Zaine.

The barrier that Zaine made was invisible to the eyes and incorporated with Amy's concealment skill she had learned, it was difficult for the creature to notice them.
