Chapter 1

A strong wind blew and the snowstorm started getting more violent. Velten was pushed to the side by the wind and was about to fall, but he quickly regained his balance.

"You okay, Velten?" his friend stopped and asked worriedly after seeing Velten reeling.

"I'm Okay Taras, nothing to worry about" Velten replied after he got his balance back "I left my guard down, so the wind pushed me to the side"

"Be careful next time… this place is dangerous," Taras said as he turned and started walking again.

"Yeah, I know" Velten replied and followed him. Although his face was covered with balaclava and snow goggles, Velten felt the strong snowstorm bump against his face, so he raised his right arm holding his ice axe, put it in front of his face, and kept walking trying to resist the strong wind.

Whenever Velten tried to get a look at what was in front of them, he could see nothing but his friend's back and the other sentinels that were with them.

The fog was covering everything, and the violent snowstorm made seeing anything even more difficult, so none of the group members could see clearly.

Velten was at the end of the group, so all he needed to do was to follow their steps. However, that created a different problem for him, and it was the danger of falling.

As he was walking, the wind blew again and Velten started reeling again, but his leg slid after he put it on some ice "Fck!!" Velten cursed as he fell and started slipping.

Velten kept sliding and was about to fall off the cliff, but he moved his hand and stitched the ice axe in the ice and kept attached to it with one hand.

"Velten!!" Taras called when he noticed him falling and rushed to help him. The others stopped when they heard Taras and followed him to help them.

"Velten, you ok?" Taras asked as he got near him

Velten looked up while his body was moving slightly to both sides and said "I think I injured my leg a little after hitting the edge of a rock when I fell, but other than that… I think everything is good"

Taras bent down on his knees, stretched his arm for Velten to hold, and said "try to move your body and hold my hand"

Velten stretched his hand but he couldn't reach Taras's hand, so he swung his body to the right as much as possible, and then stretched his hand when he got to the left side and caught his hand.

Taras tried pulling Velten up, but the wind blew again and he started slipping down. Nevertheless, a big muscular guy grabbed his hand.

"Leader?!" Taras said after turning his head towards the muscular guy.

"Don't worry and try to pull him up… we will help from here" Wim replied.

Taras nodded and started pulling Velten up after he pulled his axe out of the ice.

After they pulled Velten up, the muscular guy noticed Velten's leg bleeding, so he called "Healer! Come here"

A woman with red hair, wearing a beanie and rolling a scarf on her face came from behind and approached Velten.

When she got near him, she pulled down her scarf and said with a serious look on her face "I told you not to come with us on this mission… you know you can't handle the higher levels of this dungeon" then she put her hands above his leg and green light coming from her hands started glowing.

The woman's name was Rose. She was Velten's childhood friend, and always tells him to avoid participating in the higher-level missions since he was so weak for these kinds of missions.

When she finished, the leader who was standing next to him, put his hand on Velten's shoulder and said "I know you are having a hard time with this, but try to be more careful… this floor of the dungeon has a lot of dangers"

Velten was indeed weak, and the leader knew that clearly, since he didn't have any affiliates for magic, and his body was weak and slow. Nevertheless, the leader knew Velten was still valuable in spite of all his weak aspects.

Velten had a spectacular skill with the bow. His aim was precise to the point where he could take his enemy's head down from more than 200 meters.

"HOWL!!"

Before the group could start walking again, a loud howling echoed from among the mists. They couldn't see anything at first, but everything became clear to them as time passed.

A huge wolf that seemed to be the floor boss appeared on the cliff. It was almost 5 times their size. With thick white fur and some black lines on his fur, leading a flock of about 30 wolves.

The wolf jumped with his flock and started approaching them slowly.
