Re: Existence

Seraphina Ender, daughter of a powerful Eternal Existence, wishes to start her journey scouring the Worlds and claiming their cores, with each World showing her truest self. She starts with being jealous of her friend, but now that she's beginning the journey, her goal has yet to be determined. Quick note: This is not a romance, Webnovel apparently thinks Female-Lead == Romance. I might integrate romance into the novel, but don't come in expecting it.

Everything's weird...

Meanwhile, in Salas's room.

"Babe, have you seen Sera?" Lia, Salas's wife, said with worry.

Salas was awoken from a daze. He looked at his wife with guilt, "I fucked up...I fucked up so hard..."

"W-What happened?" Lia was worried. It wasn't often that her husband made a mistake, but when he did, it was never small.

"I put Sera in my World of Suffering yesterday, and she-"

Lia immediately cut her husband off, "Yesterday?! With the time dilation, it would've been a month for her! Salas, where is our daughter?!"

"I...she...she entered an unclaimed World inside mine." Salas looked away in shame.

"What?" Lia was dazed. She was furious. "We were waiting 20 years to prepare her, and you send her into a World unprepared?!"

"She jumped into it on her own! I was testing her, but I didn't think she would jump into the World like that! I messed up and let her enter. I haven't claimed that World, I can't pull her out. We can just wait I guess." Salas sighed. "If there's one thing to calm you down, her synchronicity is even better than mine."

"I cannot believe you right now!" Lia left the room in a rage.

Meanwhile, in a dark area.

"Where am I?" Sera looked around her as she held her head. She recognized this place dark place devoid of anything. It was the Void! "What happened? Oh, yeah...wait...SHIRA! SHIT! DAMN IT! WHY DIDN'T I JUST FUCKING TRUST HER!! YOU IDIOT! IDIOT! MORON!! NAIVE FUCKING BITCH!!"

Sera started a barrage of curses of self-blame, she currently hated herself. Tears fell down her face as she whispered to herself. "Why didn't I just jump when she told me to..."

"Are you done?" a cold voice sent chills down her very being.

It was a figure. Unrecognizable whether male or female. The figure spoke in a cold, sterile, voice.

"My name is Law. What memory do you wish to retain in this World?" the voice, Law, spoke in a similarly unrecognizable voice. You couldn't tell if the voice was old, young, male or female. It was void of any categorization. Even though this voice gave her the chills, she felt very comfortable with it, even more comfortable than being in her mother's arms.

"Memory?" Sera stopped her crying barely. 'Does it mean my goal?'

"..."

"I choose Shira's last words to me." Sera said with determination.

"What name do you wish to retain in this World?" Law spoke once more.

"Seraphina Ender."

Soon, Sera's surroundings turned into a bright light as her life flashed before her eyes.

"Where...am I?" Sera awoke in a body in the middle of a forest, inside a large nest to be precise. "Who...am I?"

She held her head as she tried to remember. "I...am Seraphina...and I...need the World core for Shira."

Screech!

Seraphina looked up as a giant bird came rushing for her. She jumped from the nest carelessly, going into a fetal position as she fell. Thankfully, she hit a few branches, slowing her fall.

"Ouch...where am I?" Seraphina was as confused as a person that didn't know where they were could be. She heard the bird diving down as well, "I guess it doesn't matter, I need to run!"

Her body was incredibly athletic, it was even faster than her previous body. She ran and ran, not looking behind once. She was scared, very scared. She ran for an unbelievable 30 minutes, her speed barely diminishing.

As she lost the bird, she kept running until she found a camp. When she got there, she shouted aloud, "Excuse me! Can someone help me!!"

"God, lady, we can hear you!" a 14 year old boy came down from a tree, freighting Seraphina. His black hair was tied into a very small bun behind his head. He wore a black cape that covered the rest of his clothes. He looked her up and down. "You're an enforcer? What are you doing here?"

He looked at Seraphina closely again, "With no weapon as well..."

"Look, I just need to get to the core. I don't know what an enforcer is or what I'm doing out here." Seraphina was practically crying, barely speaking through sobs.

"Calm down!" the boy was enraged by her actions. "You're a damn enforcer! Act like it!"

"B-But, I don't know what that is?" Seraphina held back her tears.

"Then where did you get that uniform?" the boy was immediately suspicious. An enforcer was at the very least a Beginner-rank, to kill an enforcer and steal their uniform would be too much of a hassle. If you can kill one, you can simply just join them or find some other worthwhile jobs.

"I-I don't know..." Seraphina looked troubled. "I don't remember."

The boy sighed, it wasn't his business anyway. "Fine, then. Where is your home? We can take you there for a small price, if it's not that deep in the core regions."

"I...I..." Seraphina's breaths started getting faster. She couldn't remember anything. Her heartbeat started quickening as her breathing became shallower with each breath she took.

"Hey, are you alright?" the boy looked at Seraphina with worry as she clutched her chest, unable to breathe properly. "Hey, Marrow! Come here!"

"What?!" an old man wearing a lab coat walked out of one of the tents. "Jack, if you're fucking with me again, I swear to GOD!"

"Just get here, you old bastard!" Jack, the boy, shouted as Seraphina fell to the ground. "She's not breathing!"

"Give her some space!" Marrow moved Jack aside as people around the camp started to gather. "She's having a panic attack! Jack, what the fuck did you do?!"

"Nothing! I swear!" Jack said in a hurried tone. "I just asked her where her home is, so that we can help her!"

"Madam! Madam, look at me!" Marrow said as he looked at Seraphina. "What is your name?!"

Seraphina looked at the man while gasping for air. 'Wait, I know that! I still know somethings!'

Seraphina's breathing calmed down a little as she said, "Seraphina."

"Now Seraphina, what do you want to do?" Marrow looked at her.

"I-I want to get to the core." Seraphina said as she calmed down a bit more.

"The core regions are pretty far, do you want us to take you there?" Marrow was very careful with each word. He didn't want to trigger another panic attack by mentioning her home. That seemed to be her trigger. "It's going to cost you some money though."

"Money?" Seraphina checked her pockets, they were empty...very empty. She looked at her clothes for the first time. She wore a black long-sleeved shirt, her pants were also made of the same poofy material. She noticed her long red hair that reached her waist. There was also a sword sheath on her side, but with no sword in it.

"Well, that's a shame." Marrow saw her emptying the lint from her pockets. "At least, we can show you the way."

"What's all the damn commotion about?! I can hear you from the fucking hunting ground!" a tall, muscular, blonde man furiously shouted from deep in the forest, making it so you can barely make out his features. He was pulling a large bear behind him. It was about 4 meters in length.

"Boss!" Jack rushed to the blonde man excitedly.

I appologize for the short chapters, but seeing that I'm close to 15,000 words got me a little excited!

So, I decided to post shorter chapters to find easier stopping points. It will only stay like this for a chapter or two.

I appologize again.
