Day 28
Sometimes I wonder to myself while walking inside this Labryinth about how amazing I am at almost killing myself in a staircase hallway with no monsters trying to kill me whatsoever.
After being so confused yesterday I decided to just make a burrow inside this hallway but I can't since this place is apparently made of pure stone.
And so here I am walking down and up in each of the staircases I found as to find where is the right and correct way to go. Why don't I just sled down using my greatshield? Oh well its simple.... I almost died doing that.
The first time I sled down one of this stairs I almost fell to my death since apparently there's a huge pit filled with spikes stone spikes pointing up at me. Fortunately, I jump activated [Brave] and thrust both of my claws in into the hallway walls making me not fall to my death.
But holy hell that hurts my claws so goddamn much, my claws were literally bleeding from my hands as I side climb away from the pit.
Still... I'm kinda amazed as to how Rusdy's brothers and sisters are even able to bear crawling this far down. I continue to walk down the near endless staircase and saw a brimming light from below, is it another torch?
I continue to walk down in order to get near the brimming light from below. I got closer and closer and I'm now finally face to face with the object that's brimming with light. The object wasn't inside a box room like the torch I found yesterday. The object infront of me is an orb that looks like its made entirely of light.
Me being curious as to what this thing infront of me is I touch it. As my claws touch the orb's surface it immediately exploded in flash of light creating a loud screeching sound similar to what I had felt yesterday from the walls. I quickly run back up the stairs to escape the painful screeching noise but some thing stab me in the leg making me scream in pain and trip down the stairs.
My curiosity is going to kill me one of this days.
I look at my at my right leg and saw tiny sickles bound to small chains coming out of the ground below stabbing my leg and trying to rip my flesh. I cast Light Arrow and ripped the chains binding my leg to the ground. The sickles that were stabbing my right disappear soon after the chains were cut off.
However the sound of screeching coming from the orb becomes louder as soon as I got myself free. Instead of running away I cast Fireball and threw the ball of fire on my hands onto the orb of light in the hallway making it burn.
When the orb of light burn the fire caused by Fireball begin to burn the air around it and from the there a face depicting someone screaming appears above the burning orb of light making it look like I'm satan worshiper summoning satan himself.
Since I know that there is something there or I think there is I casted another Fireball and lobbed it onto the face of the thing infront of me making it burn and screech even more.

I just leveled up meaning I have manage killed it. Holy shit what the hell was that!? is it a ghost or-
[Rancu Nesa]
[An undead possessing a spiritual body invisible to the living.
An undead that will kill a creature in order to bind their souls into an animate objects, the reason the undead does this is to make their victims also turn into a Rancu Nesa after the it ascends or descends into to the afterlife.
The Rancu Nesa is an undead belonging to the Undead spirit familia making them close relatives to Wraiths]
So you're telling me this thing that attacked me just now is basically a wraith?

Sometimes I wonder why I would even forgive you for not answering me.
So if this thing is a wraith.... And Rusdy said that the 17th floor is full of wraiths..... And if I combine that with the fact that it sucks souls into an animate object.... And there was that time I the walls around me became faces like soulsand from Minecraft then....
Goddammit this endless staircase hallways is the 17th floor isn't it?

Hmmm, I think I should had told her about that the 17th floor is a pretty weird floor. Although I've never seen it and only heard about it I'm pretty sure its pretty weird compared to the dream I got that time.
Nah, She'll figure it out. Besides if my so called brothers and sisters are saying it weird then how hard can it be to identify it?

So if this staircase hallways is the 17th floor then doesn't that mean I'm going down this stairs to the.... 18th floor?
Though I'm not really sure if I'm even going down to the 18th floor though. This hallways of stairs is literally the epitome of a true Labryinth, a torturous one since I need to climb up the stairs in order to go up.
*Stomach Grumbling*
Ah... I'm hungry. I open storage rift and grabbed a zombie arm out. This is literally the only other thing i can eat while continuing walking down the stairs, good thing I have a whole lot of zombie corpses in stored. I wonder if there are any monsters here other than wraiths.
If there is I hope its a monster that I actually can eat since I'm kinda really bored eating zombies. As soon as I said that 2 blurry white eyes appear deep below the stairway infront of me. It charges at me from deep below the staircase making creepy gushing and bashing sounds echoing throughout the stairway.
It climbs the stairs closer revealing its body as a huge purple blob of liquid. It continue drags itself to climb up the stairs coming at me looking like SCP-087 trying to kill me, however its coming at me at an awfully slow pace that basically ruins the terror of it coming at me.
And of course, I do any sane monster would do when they see something like this.... I Appraise it.

What's up with that mana pool!?
Since this thing is a mage type of monster then killing it with close range attacks would be ideal however that [Poisonous Body] Skill is a big problem for me.
If I were to get poisoned by attacking it with my claws I don't know if Heal can cure poison so its kind of a gamble. So The only other way I can fight it is by using either Light Arrows or Fireball but....
I looked at the Sludge Slime still moving its best towards me however it had only manage to move an inch or so, I now feel really sorry for it since it only needs 1 more level to evolve and I'm about to kill it right here.
Suddenly it stops moving and its body become to swell up as if it was going to explode. Is it going to use its [Kamikaze] Skill?
From the swell of its body it gushes out a thick purple stream of poison at me. I dodge it by leaping backwards and almost fell off the stairs as I landed. Out of all the places a fight could occur why does it has to be in a stairway.
The area that leaped off from was now drenched in a pool purple sludge giving an extraordinarily terrible smell filling the area around it, it smells as terrible if not worse than a cassava tape.
I already don't like the smell and gooey textures of a slime from the 13th floor so I'm not going to let myself be drenched in something like that and also get poison because of it.
I cast Light Arrow and and a barrage of arrows begin to stab the slimes body from the front. The slime didn't twitch and gushes out another thick stream of poison, however the thick stream wasn't aim at me. The stream of poison was aimed at the ceiling above me making it the poison sprays out everywhere around the hallway and almost drenching me in it.
How am I not drench you may ask? Well thats because of my Blessed Barrier that I had activated as soon as it shot that stream of poison. Even though I'm not exactly drench in poison the smell of it is stuck on my barrier making me want to puke.
I cast more Light Arrows at it but it still didn't twitch no matter what. How much HP does this thing still have?

How the hell is it not going down!!?
I continue to barrage it with Light Arrows however its HP isn't going down at all. I don't remember slimes being this Invincible the last time I fought one. Is there like a specific area I need to hit it?

[Creatures made entirely of liquid and has no living organs other than its Nukleus/Core. Damaging a slime's Nukleus/Core is the only way to kill a slime]
So all I needed to do is to destroy its core then. Its core should be in the middle of its body. Wait what if I burn its core with Fireball?
No wait, its body is liquid so it wouldn't even be effective against it. Ah, I have an idea.
I pull out my greatshield and position it to block any attacks it throws at me. Bless Barrier can only block so much so me using my greatshield is the only best choice for me to block as much of its poison stream as I can.
However it didn't shoot any.
Instead it let out one huge ball of poison upwards trying to drench me in its poison above. I reposition my sheild using [Storage Rift ] to quickly move it above me to block the huge ball of poison coming from above. While my greatshield is blocking the ball of poison above me it uses that opening and shoots a stream of poison at me.
The stream of poison hits me and drenches me in its poison goo. Bless Barrier cannot manage to block it all making me covered with some of the poison on me. As the poison touches my skin I feel as if something heavy is pulling them down to the ground.
I begin to struggle to breathe and feel weaken from all over my body making me fall to my knees. I cast Heal all over but nothing happens.
Haaa... Skill..store...
I activate skill store and force my way to search through the endless sea of information in my mind as quickly as possible. While doing that I also make my greatshield to shelter me from the incoming stream of attacks coming from the slime while climbing up the stairs in order to escape it.
I search as quickly as I can through my mind to find a skill that might just help me cure the poison.

I begin to breathe a bit better than before but nit entirely better. The weighty feeling caused by the poison covering my skin have also lessen up.

Perfect timing.
My body became lighter making me able to climb the stairs easily and escape.
