Chapter 19: The Uncle Next Door is Powerful

"Now that you already become a bijuu, you should have enough power to protect your village." said Zokuto. "My deal with you is done. I should be get going then. Goodbye for now, Bijuu Mizukage."

"Don't you want to take some of Sanbi chakra body for his soul?"

"I changed my mind. There is a better option right here." Zokuto pointed at Kurama, and Kurama just grunted with that.

"I see. You want to Kyuubi's chakra body to house Sanbi's soul, so that it can transform into a nine tailed bijuu. Will that really work?"

"Who knows. We don't know until we try." said Zokuto while smiling nonchalantly. Zokuto then created a clone.

"I will be going now. Any further talk, you can just have it with him. Well then, adios!" Zokuto disappeared as fast as the wind.

"Damn you main body. You always left the rest of the task to me. One of these day, I will let you test the feeling of dying by seppuku." said the clone. "Ah, I just talked out what in my mind. Mizukage-dono, please keep it a secret from my main body."

Yagura sweated when he heard the clone. 'Don't he know that when he was released, his memory will return to his original body?'

"Anyway Mizukage-dono, you have many thing to deal with. There is your dead former body over there, there is the Kiri rebel on the way to attack your office, and there is Zabuza and his gang fast approaching toward this location." stated Zokuto's clone.

Mizukage nodded. With the newfound body and power as a bijuu, Yagura can easily detect any movement inside the Kirigakure.

Somewhere outside Kirigakure.

"Hei Kurama, give me some of your chakra body. Let's try to make a new nine tailed bijuu."

"Kid, don't try to use my body just to satisfy your desire for experiment. Also, you won't be able to use your mangekyou ability that often, right?"

"So you noticed it. I will be honest then. I could perform my right eyes ability for at most seven times a month. On the other hand, I can use my left eyes ability freely, as long as I have a soul that I kept with me. Also, I haven't told anyone that with my left eyes ability, I can control the soul that I granted, within the first twelve hour i granted it. After that, the soul will be free from my control." explained Zokuto.

"Well, that's all about my Mangekyou ability. Now, please give me some of your chakra body, Kurama."

"Whatever." Kurama cut out almost half of his chakra body and gave it to Zokuto. Zokuto then granted it with Sanbi's soul. The moment the chakra body got Sanbi's soul, it started to turn into the form of the former Sanbi. However, its chakra body is still the chakra body of the nine tailed beast. Slowly but constantly, it is trying to restore it's original nine tail's capacity. Sanbi then slowly opened its eyes.

"Thank you Kurama."

"It's a success. I can feel him restoring a nine tailed bijuu body." said Kurama, a little happy for Sanbi.

"Well, you sure are generous for giving Sanbi almost half of your chakra body."

"Doesn't matter. With times, I also will be able to restore my body chakra." replied Kurama. "So, whose next?"

"We will go back first. After that, we will go for Yonbi and Gobi." said Zokuto. Now that he managed to 'create' another nine tailed beast, he was thinking to gather back his bijuus. With all of the bijuu he have, he might have already collected enough bijuu to fuse the power of ten tailed bijuu. He then left the Kiri land and travelled toward land of Fire.

Somewhere in the land of Amegakure.

"Obito. We found Uzumaki Zokuto. He is in the Kiri land." Zetsus.

"I know. He already managed to free Yagura from my genjutsu." said Obito.

"That fast?" Black Zetsu got surprised. "What should we do?"

"We need a change of plan. Zokuto seems to know me. If my guess is correct he knows more than myself. Worst case scenario, he knows our plan to use Infinite Tsukuyomi." guessed Obito. "We need to hasten our plan to collect bijuus from all those village."

"Then, what will we do with Zokuto?"

"We will leave him for last. Even if we dont have his nine tail bijuu, we still have a ways to awaken the ten tailed beast."

"You mean, using the Edo Tensei jutsu?" Black Zetsu.

"That's one of it." said Obito. "Let's go. We need to somehow convince Nagato to hasten the bijuu collection."

Obito then swirled away, and Zetsu just sank into the ground.

Times flew by and it's times for the golden screen to announce a ranking list again.

- The [New Chuunin Fighter] is scheduled to be announced. However, there will be a Chuunin Competition before the [New Chuunin Fighter] is announced. Everyone in the shinobi world who has yet to pass the Chuunin exam are entitled to sign-in into the competition. Gold Totems are going to be released to the world. Find it, and one can participate in the competition by touching it. Time limit for signing in: 4D:23H:59M:59S.

The time is ticking! The golden screen did not mention where the Gold Totem will appear. It only mentioned that one need to find it in order to participate in the challenge.

After seeing the golden screen, Sandaime Hokage called for a high level meeting. Every higher up in the village are required to attend the meeting. Soon, the meeting started.

"Now everyone, what is you thought regarding the Chuunin Competition mentioned by the golden screen?" Hiruzen.

"This competition might be to decide who is going to be listed in the [New Chuunin Fighter] rank." Utatane Koharu.

"That's obviously the case. Also, this golden screen seems trying to graduate those previous genin rank into chuunin rank." said Uchiha Fugaku. In the previous ranking list, he still felt a bit disappointed as Sasuke was not even listed in it. That is why he tried his best to teach Sasuke from last year, until now. He was hoping that Sasuke will get into this next ranking list. Who knows, the golden screen is going to announce the list for new chuunin.

On the side, Koharu felt a bit angry when Fugaku stated her opinion as something obvious. She want to make her rebuking answer, but someone else spoke first.

"I think, if the participant of this competition is going to be listed in the ranking list, then that's mean those who participated in it will have the chance to receive generous reward from the golden screen." Hyuuga Hiashi.

Everyone in the meeting room nodded.

"I assume that everyone agreed to send our genin to participate in this competition, right?" Hiruzen.

Everyone nodded again.

"So, any suggestion to who we want to send as a participant?"

"Sandaime, can I say my opinion?" Nara Shikaku.

"Go ahead Shikaku."

"Firstly, we can say that this competition made by the golden screen is another form of exam for genins to become chuunin. Therefore, we can assume that only genin that is ready to become a chuunin will have the highest chance to win such competition.

Secondly, we don't know the rule of the golden screen on how the competition would be carried out. There might be certain level of danger involved in it. Worse case, there will be a death in every level of competition. So, we need to think, which one of our genin is ready to face death, and capable enough to fend themself from any danger that can result in death." Shikaku.

Shikaku's opinion made the others in the room rethink their own suggestion on who they will send to participate in the competition.

"Another thing is that we need to find the whereabout of the Golden Totems..."

Suddenly, an anbu appeared beside Hiruzen. The anbu then whispered something to him. Hiruzen then signalled for the anbu to dismiss, and the anbu disappeared again.

"Regarding the Golden Totem, we no longer need to be worried. Just now, the anbu said that one of the Golden Totems appeared in the former Senju district. So, we can send our participant there to sign in." said Hiruzen. "As for any worry for anything that might happen in the competition, we will give a warning to those who want to participate. We can then send anyone who still wish to participate after they know the probability of danger."

Everyone agreed. They then started to make their suggestion for a potential participant.

On the other village, the same kind of meeting also happened. Everyone is discussing almost the same thing; the reason for the Chuunin Competition to happen, the possibility of danger, the participant, and the soon to be announced ranking and reward.

This discussion is also happening in Tonika Village.

In Tonika Academy.

"So everyone, please rise your hand if you want to participate in the Chuunin Competition."

Almost all of the student in the academy raised their hand.

"Sensei, do you think we can bring our father and mother to participate?"

"Yeah sensei, they are not a chuunin yet and they only recently learned ninjutsu. However, they should be very powerful in term of kenjutsu and taijutsu."

"Uh, I don't want to agree to that. My father might beat me in the competition." said a kid.

This saying silenced the idea of bringing parent into the competition.

"You are right. We should not bring our parent into the competition. Just yesterday, I trained with my dad and he almost killed me with his sword."

"The uncle that stay next to my house is also very powerful."

"Why do you say so?"

"He always have this dangerous aura, and a stern look. One time I saw him kill a chicken. He did not even flinch when he cut it's throat, and saw it's blood." said the kid.
