3 Whiterun or something idk

We reached Whiterun after 2 hours of walking. I did not expect it to take that long. Thinking of the Throat Of the World, I think I'm already in pain.

"There she is, Whiterun. The remaining neutral hold in Skyrim." Ralof introduced as we walked.

"You better not ruin the talk by adding your rebel speech." Hadvar spat.

"I should be the one telling you that." Ralof glared.

"Alright, let's calm down. I'll do the talking." Bob calmed them down. Which is nice. Silence is always good.

"Take it down!" Who the fuck is yelling?

We turned around and saw a group of people fighting a giant. Oh yeah, the Companions. The furries.

"Let's help them!" Bob said before running over.

Yeah no I'm not helping. I'd rather stay here and conserve ener— motherfucker.

"Aria, put me down." My face is just blank. It's nice to be held but being carried like a bag of potatoes is not really charming.

Then she let me down on a place where the giant is facing us. Aria pointed at the giant and said "eye" before charging with her greatsword that once again came out of nowhere.

"Ah, damn it." I grabbed my bow and an arrow.

I'm gonna ask for a better bow later. I feel like I'm being limited by my equipment. I wish I have a Deadric Bow right now.

Anyways, since I was positioned quite nicely, courtesy of Aria, I figured I might as well try.

I nocked an arrow and aimed at the giant. I have flimsy iron arrows. The kind that is so average it's painful. I'm not even gonna try to see if I can pierce thr giant's skin.

So yeah, I aimed at the eye. I mean, Aria told me to aim at it. So I aimed, let my aimbot fix my hand, and released the arrow.

Bullseye.

Get it?

Anyways, the giant's scream sounded really painful. I almost felt sorry.

So I shot its other eye. Now it's blind.

"They can take care of it." I put my bow back. I lost two arrows this time. Including the one I used at the fish earlier, I only have 17 arrows on me.

Which isn't few, but also isn't a lot. What if they break? Imagine fighting a dragon and you ran out of arrows. That's like, embarassing.

"Nice shooting, archer!" That woman in porn cosplay clothes should be Aela. I mean, she does have a healthy body.

Uh... yeah, Aria is still bigger.

Anyways, they killed the giant. After 10 minutes. Jesus Christ are they using toothpicks? It's a blind giant for fuck's sake.

After the giant fell, Bob and the others went to talk with the Companions. Aela walked over to me though.

"You have some skills, archer." She complimented me, but why does it feel like I'm getting insulted?

Hm, must've been my imagination.

"The Companions could use someone like you." And there it is. The join us dialogue.

"I'm sorry, I'm not interested." I rejected, naturally.

"Hmph, you wasted my time." What?

The fuck did I do?

And she walked away. Bloody hell.

"Hm." Oh, hey there Aria.

"Good job." She gave me a thumbs up, which looked strangely comical.

"Don't carry me randomly next time."

"You're slow."

:|

~~~~~~~~~~
"Thank you!" I nodded at the vendor as I took my 10 bottles of mead.
I spent quite a lot of money. I should rob some bandit fortresses sometimes. I might even get some equipment.
I'm still wearing a plain shirt and pants, not a single armor on me. If not for the bow and quiver on my back, I'm no different from a villager.
I mean, I'm not really a soldier or anything. I'm just a wandering archer. Ooh, that sounds cool. The Wandering Archer.
"Adam! Let's go!" Bob appeared behind me.
Oh yeah, I stayed behind when they went to meet the Jarl. Talking feels troublesome.
"Where?" I asked. I mean, I know it's Bleak Falls Barrow, but I need to ask or the others might get suspicious.
"To the Western Watchtower." Hadvar answered.
Okay uh, things went differently than I thought it would. Aren't we supposed to go to Bleak Falls Barrow?
"I've mentioned your superb marksmanship to the Jarl and he has tasked you to guard the Western Watchtower while we go to retrieve the Dragonstone in Bleak Falls Barrow. Bandit activities has been quite rampant there lately." Ralof supplied.
"Okay?" I weakly replied.
Isn't the Western Watchtower the one that's gonna get attacked by a dragon? I'm fucked.
"Oh, and he gave this as well. You might use it." Hadvar handed me a new bow. If I remember correctly... Imperial Bow?
Hadvar glanced smugly at Ralof.
"Good luck." Aria patted my shoulder and they left.
Why do I feel left behind?
Eh, atleast I get to stay while they climb a mountain. Guarding a watchtower that will be attacked by a dragon...
I mean, we're gonna fight dragons later on anyways, might as well experience it now. Who knows, I might even kill it without the dragonborn.
Or I'm gonna turn into barbecue. Eh, who knows.
~~~~~~~~~~

"Are you Adam? Welcome to the Western Watchtower." A guard greeted me as soon as I walked near the watchtower.

"I am." I smiled at the guard.

"I heard you're pretty good with the bow?" The guard asked.

"Just so-so." I waved my hand.

Stay humble. So that when you lose, you don't get slapped in the face. To be fair, I can't really lose, I have an aimbot.

"Captain! Bandits are attacking!" A guard yelled from the top of the watchtower.

"Perfect timing." The guard I'm talking to, the Captain apparently, took his bow.

"Ohohohoho. Is it what I'm thinking?"

"Yes it is. Most kills wins?"

You are fucking on.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Boss, I suddenly don't feel so good." A bandit said.
"Endure. We are taking this watchtower today." The boss smacked the back of the bandit.
"Okay boss. Whatever you say."
The boss smiled. The morale is high. They are taking this watchtower this time no matter what.
What's the worst that could happen?
