Aimbot

Due to the lack of clocks, I can only assume the time. The sun just came out, and the air is quite cold. Probably 6am. I dunno.

Everyone finished preparing and is ready to depart. Hadvar and Ralof still haven't attempted murdering each other, thankfully. Seems like Bob is a good peacekeeper.

"Everyone is ready?" Ralof asked us all.

I simply gave a thumbs up and grasped the longbow strapped behind me. I still don't know how to use a bow. And I only have 20 arrows in my quiver.

"Me and this person will take the front, Bob will stay in the middle, Adam will cover the rear with Aria. Any issues?" Hadvar shoved Ralof aside.

"Why am I in the middle?" Bob pouted.

Because quite frankly, you seem useless.

"Because you're important. You're good at talking, we will need you in talking to the Jarl." I smiled.

Anyways, we set off. Hadvar and Ralof are arguing at the front, something something better at plowing something, Bob is whistling while appreciating nature, and Aria is walking like a robot.

We only walked for 10 minutes before a problem arose.

"Wolves. Seven of them." Hadvar stopped us and warned.

"Prepare yourselves." Ralof brandished his axe.

And so we did. Bob took out a dagger. God bless him. He'll probably die without our help. Meanwhile Aria took out a huge ass greatsword. In one fucking hand. Jesus Christ how can those dainty arms possess that much strength?

That aside, I nocked an arrow. This is a perfect time to see if I can shoot. Pressure is high and I can be the sole reason for our untimely demise.

"What the fuck?" I unconsciously let out, as my hands moved themselves as soon as I aimed on one of the wolves.

It's like my arm is locked onto the wolf. The tip of the arrow is following its every move.

And I released the arrow.

It sailed through the air, the sound of wind getting cut producing a deadly sound. The tip of the arrow barely enjoyed the air as it immediately found itself embedded in the eye of the wolf.

It's not an exaggeration to say that it was cruel. Like, 3/4 of the arrow is inside the wolf. It's definitely dead.

I shot that arrow?

Not the time to wonder. There's still 6 wolves attacking. Ralof and Hadvar are taking care of four, while Aria is trying to split one in half. Bob is getting chased.

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!! HELP!!!!" Bob desperately ran.

"Might as well." I nocked another arrow and aimed. My arms once again moved by themselves, aiming at the wolf's eye again. This time, it's a moving target.

It took a second of aiming before I let go of the arrow. It left a blur before burying itself deep in the wolf's head through the eye.

It immediately dropped dead, as it should. The arrow almost buried its entire length save for a few inches.

"Thank you so much!!!" Bob practically had tears on his eyes.

Anyways, I turned to look at the other's situations. Aria successfully split one in half. Perfectly, even. Somehow. And Hadvar and Ralof took care of two of the four surrounding them.

I once again took another arrow and aimed at one of the wolf. Hadvar and Ralof are in the way, and the shot seemed pretty damn hard to do. Still, my arm aimed by itself.

"Ah fuck it, worst case scenario is them getting shot in the arse." I let go of the arrow.

And... it somehow hit. Jesus. Am I god? Like, archery god? The arrow even burrowed in the eye.

"Nice shooting back there!" Ralof decapitated the remaining wolf and gave me a thumbs up.

"Exceptional marksmanship. One arrow for a kill, through the eyes even." Hadvar sheathed his sword.

"Just another Tuesday." I waved them off with a calm face.

Holy fuck that's so cool. Do I have aimbot? I never shot a bow before this, how can I hit those shots?

We then went over to harvest some materials from the wolves. It was pretty gorey, so I'd rather not describe it. Anyways, Ralof gave me back the three arrows I shot.

"Your arrows went in so deep! Had to cut the head open to get it out." Ralof put the arrows in my hand.

They are uh... is that brain matter? Eh, fuck it. To the quiver you go.

I thanked him and he went on to gut a few wolves with Hadvar. Bob is at the side, wiping the duo's weapons. Aria is leaning under a tree.

Well, this is gonna take a while. Might as well practice.

I took an arrow and nocked it on my bow. I stood besides the shore of the river and aimed. Every now and then, some fish would jump. Since I have an aimbot, I figured I should shoot one.

"Any moment now..." I held my breath and aimed.

A few seconds later, one jumped. Thank god my reaction speed is quite fast. I immediately aimed, my arms moving by itself to correct the trajectory, and I let go of the arrow.

The fish found itself impaled on the other side of the river. It struggled for a bit before dying.

"Good aim." I stifled the urge to scream as Aria suddenly appeared besides me and complimented.

"Yeah, I practiced." I bullshitted.

The arrow is on the other side of the river, getting it is just a hassle. I strapped the bow on my back and went to check on the two guys.

"You done?" I asked, looking away from the pool of blood mixed with brain matter.

"Yeah, just gonna wash the blood away." Ralof answered and went to the river to wash his hands.

Hadvar followed. Then he happened to see the impaled fish on the other side of the river.

"You shot that?" He gestured.

"Hmm? Yeah. Just checking if my reaction speed still hasn't rusted yet." I bullshitted.

"I got to say, even the Empire's best archers does not possess a quarter of your skills." He added.

"You flatter me." Of course they don't, I have a fucking aimbot.

i cannot seem to write a story without making the protagonist absurdly overpowered
