22 Ch 22 Birthday

When Jay got home with Jee Eun and her grandma, he told them about the desire to live at the dorm with his brothers. As expected, Jee Eun immediately turns unhappy after hearing the news.

"What is this oppa?! This wasn't in the contract was it?"

"Nope, but it was suggested by the president afterwards."

"That means oppa can refuse this no?"

"I can but everyone else and even our maknae Changmin has agreed to this, I can't be the only one to live seperately from them right? It's not fair to them."

"But... we are only able to spend time together for one more week! How's that fair to us?!"

"I'm still gonna come back during the weekends, I promise to spend all my time with you during that time!"

"...hmph! Nothing I say is gonna change your mind! Just do whatever you want already!"

She walks away angrily after saying that while huffing and puffing, like a baby who lost an arguement. (#｀3´)

"Jee Eun ah!" Jay calls out to her but she doesn't stop, so he looks at her grandma who has been standing beside but remained silent the whole time, hoping to get some advice from her.

"Don't look at me, you created this mess, you go and console her yourself. But you know how she is, just give her some time to think about it, I'm sure she will come around. Just say more sweet things to her."

"Nae..."

Later, Jay carefully goes back to his bedroom and finds Jee Eun covering herself in her blanket. He gently pokes her head through the blanket.

"Jee Eun ah, still angry?"

"D... t... m..." Her voice is muffled.

"Jee Eun ah, I can't hear you." He continues poking her head playfully.

"I said don't touch me!" She removes her blanket and pounces at him, and starts 'beating' him up. Jay acts as like those punches hurt and starts moaning weirdly.

"Ahh~! Stop! Itai! Ah pa!" He spurts out all kinds of languages.

"Ay... stop faking it, I didn't even put any strength into those punches." She stops hitting him and he is still faking the pain.

"Huh? Ehehe..." Embarassed, he scratches his head awkwardly.

"Sigh... listen carefully oppa. Since it's already decided that you will move to the new dorm, we need to set some rules, if you want my full support."

"Anything you say ma'am!" Jay stands up and salutes to her.

"Be serious oppa!" She stares at him angrily.

"Nae." He sits down reflexively like a puppy wiggling his tail to his owner.

"Rule number one, when you stay over there, no matter how tired you get after training or practice, you have call me or at least send me message when you get back to your dorm."

"Consider it done."

"Rule number two, I want you to promise me that you won't overwork yourself, your body must always be your top priority."

"Araseo!"

"Rule number three, I know you are going to have a very strict diet planned for you, but you should never starve yourself okay?"

"Aye aye captain!"

"Rule number four, when you come back during the weekends, I want you to focus on teaching me how to play the guitar, and also other instruments in the future."

"No problem!"

"Rule number five, if you really gonna do this, you better do it properly. I want you to become the best idol in the world, so that one day I can tell the others, that Jay Kim is my oppa!"

"Jee Eun ah... don't worry! I promise I will become an oppa that you can be proud of!"

"Mmhmm~ rule number six, hmm... I still can't think of anything yet, so I will give you an update once I think of something."

"Whatever rules you set, as long as it's reasonable, I will obey all of them!"

"Okay, now let's go to sleep! We have school tomorrow, and don't forget you still have to be my driver for one week."

And so for the whole week, Jee Eun became extra clingy to Jay, as long as it's not during school or using the bathroom, you could almost always see them together.

During this week, Jay followed instructions that she made. One day, she looked at him and said his hair was way too long and messy, so she brought to a barber shop and shortened his hair. Now, his blue eyes got even more obvious and clear to the public without his hair covering them, attracting all kind of attentions, he even got scouted by someone from the model agency.

The next day, she brought him to the mall, to buy some new clothes, saying he has no fashion sense whatsoever. And of course, he also bought some cute dress for her, as a thanks for giving him a makeover.

And then one day after school, they are surprised to see Jee Eun's parents at their home, they came to visit them. They also decided bring everyone and go on a three days trip to Jeju Island, apparently Jee Eun's dad won a lottery or something. Jee Eun got so excited because that was the first time she has ever stepped out of Seoul, so she took a lot photos and showed them off to her bestie Eun Jee, oh she was so jealous.

Then we fast forward to the last day of the week, it's 16th May, so as you guys know it's Jee Eun's birthday. Maybe it's because Jay is leaving, Jee Eun doesn't even remember that it's her birthday, the whole day it's as if there are dark clouds all over her head, which is why he decided to give her a little surprise.

"Jee Eun ah, go and change into something more comfortable, I'm gonna teach you how to ride a bicycle today."

"Mwo? Right now?"

"Yeah! You might have to go to school yourself in the future, so it's better to learn it sooner."

"Ah right... oppa won't be able to bring me to school anymore..." (´.＿.｀)

"C'mon, I'll wait for you outside." He runs to the garage without waiting for her answer.

*sigh

'Am I the only one that's feeling sad right now? I couldn't even sleep last night knwoing that we are gonna be seperated starting tomorrow, but oppa looks like this doesn't affect him at all. Is it because I'm actually not that important in his heart?' She starts overthinking.

Suddenly, Jay's voice from downstairs cuts off her thoughts.

"Yah! How long is it gonna take to change your clothes! Ppalli ppalli!"

*sigh

She sighs again and gets up reluctantly to change her clothes.

'Nonono! I can't be thinking about oppa negatively like this! I'm sure he is just putting up a tough act! So as a supportive and loving sister, I have to be strong and smiles to him as much as I can. You can do this Lee Jee Eun!' She shakes her head and lightly slaps her own cheeks, trying to raise her own spirit, then she puts on an 'actor's smile' before going downstairs to meet Jay.
