"hm~hm~hm~," Noah hummed as the Humvee they were riding was crossing the river to the other side of the bank; since the bridge was clogged with zombies and human's dead bodies alike.

Also, it was blocked by the police before making it impossible for their Humvee to pass that route.

"What song are you humming, Noah onii-chan?" Alice asked cutely.

Even though she has never heard the song, she thought that melody was quite soothing to hear.

"Hm? This song? It is a quite good song I heard from where I came from. You want to listen?" Noah asked.

Alice nodded with excitement. Other's attention was also towards him since they thought that melody was pretty enjoyable.

Noah smiled and said, "Then I will sing. Do not laugh, ok?" Alice nodded seriously.

Noah chuckled seeing how serious she was. Noah cleared his throat and started to sing.

(iindesuka? (いいんですか?) – RADWIMPS~)

"~My favorite food is fried chicken, Oh, and also my mom's homemade chicken with Ankake Sauce~"

"~But neither of them can win, neither rival you~"

"~If you were the meal, then I could have 50 helpings of donburi – though if I say that~"

"~You'll say something like 'Well then, try it,'~"

"~But that was all just a metaphor~"

Noah kept singing the song. He really likes this song since someone special to him like it. He would always have to listen to this when she sang.

As time went by, he also started to enjoy this song. Others also listen to the song and felt that this song was not bad.

At least, it was enough to make them feel relax. They were quite tired with training and the fear of the world taken over by zombies.

They had to say that Noah's voice was really good, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he became a singer… well… only if the world was back to normal.

"How was it?" Noah asked. His mood became reasonably good after singing the song.

"It was really good! Can you teach me, Noah Onii-chan?" Alice asked.

Noah smirked and said, "It is not so easy, but as my mood is really good, I will teach you."

"Yah~" Alice yelled jubilantly.

Everyone smiled. Looking at how carefree those two were, everyone thought that the world was not that bad.

They looked towards Tanya, who was sleeping soundly without any worry in the world. They sighed and thought that maybe they are too stiff since the time this whole apocalypse started.

Soon, they reached the other shore of the river. Takashi and Kohta left the Humvee to check the surroundings to see if there were any zombies.

They were quite eager to try out the superpowers that they have acquired. They checked the rood to see if there was any zombie.

Seeing as it was clear, they signaled Shizuka, who was driving the Humvee. She pressed her foot on the accelerator as it zooms over the steep; it reached high in the air before landing on the road.

Tanya, who was sleeping was about to drop on the floor but was held by Noah. He caught her and hug her petite body.

Tanya opened her eyes and looked around confusedly. But after finding her situation, she glared at Noah and ask, "What are you doing?"

Noah looked towards her and said, "Nothing. I just thought that your body felt quite good to hold."

Tanya nodded and decided since she cannot kill him with 'normal' means, then she should poison him or something.

"But…" Noah said as he looked at the end of the road. Everyone looked towards where he was looking and saw that road was blocked by wires.

"Should we cut them?" Saeko said.

It was not hard for them to cut these wires as they could coat anything with spiritual energy, and it would become sharp enough to cut these wires.

Noah thought about it. He could tell that these wires were freshly laid down; there might have been humans living on the other side.

Though he did not care about other humans, at the same time, he did not want to bring calamity to them.

As Noah about to say something, everyone saw hordes of a zombie coming in their direction. Everyone becomes nervous and excited.

Takashi walked in front with his bat as he said, "Finally, we can have some practice target."

They never thought of Noah as their sparring partner since he was ridiculously strong for them. They would always get bitten. They were quite vexed about it and thought of venting their frustration on these walking pieces of flesh.

Others also readied themselves. Alice and Shizuka did not join them as Shizuka was the healer and Alice was still in her learning phase.

Everyone stood and waited for zombies to approach them. As they reached close to them – Saeko launched towards the zombies and started her massacre, killing zombies here and there.

It was impossible for 'them' to stop her as she went from one end to the other, killing 'them' in the wake.

Takashi also joined the fray as he blew the head of the zombie off. Saya also did not want to left behind. She shoots fire arrows towards the zombies, burning them 'alive'.

Piercing one body after another, Rei also started to kill them.

"They are not bad," Tanya said as she observed everyone fighting. She thought that they were not bad with only two weeks of training.

Noah looked at Kohta, who was firing magic bullets from his finger and nodded, "Well, it cannot be helped since they trained by me."

Tanya rolled her eyes and kept watching them.

A couple of minutes later, the whole road was filled with different body parts – quite a hideous sight. Some were burnt, while some had holes in their heads; some had their bodies smashed, and some pierced.

Noah clapped his hands, "Not bad. You guys have not disappointed me." Noah said.

Everyone seemed quite happy hearing him praising them. Noah raised his brow when he felt Saeko staring at him.

Just as he was about to ask, his energy flared. He spun and punched. His fist met with another fist, creating a loud sound, blasting Noah away at a sonic speed. He flew and hit the building, destroying it.

Everyone was shocked since in their eyes Noah was invincible.

Tanya was the first to react as her gun appeared in her hands. Magic circle bloomed in front of her as she fired. A beam was released from the tip of her gun, pulverizing everything in its way.

But before her beam hit the 'man', he vanished and appeared beside her. Tanya knew that she was already late in dodging. The 'man' round kicked her sides.

Tanya was launched to her side. Everyone could hear the sound of bones crushing. They shuddered seeing it. They could imagine their bodies bursting off with that kick only.

It all happened in a second. A silence descended on the whole place. Everyone readied their weapon and nervously looked towards the creature in front of them.

It had two horns protruding from his forehead, pointing towards the sky. It had long hands that reached up to his knees that were bulging with muscles. Sharp spikes were coming out of his spine.

It looked towards everyone as it exhaled the air. Takashi and co were trembling with utter horror they felt from the thing in front of them.

It looked towards everyone as it opened its mouth, "Weak. There is no place for weaklings in this world."

Its voice was hoarse and heavy, making their heart palpitate.

The thing laughed loudly as it said, "Was that all you had weakling! You do not deserve Origin! Today I, the servant of God, shall take Origin from your body!" It said haughtily.

Everyone was confused as to what this Origin was, but they were sure that this thing was after Noah and Tanya.

No one knew their background, but seeing as how they could kill without batting at such tender age – they knew their background was anything but ordinary.

"I will you!" Bloodlust filled the whole place as Saeko looked towards the thing. She was fuming with fury when she saw Noah blasting away. She knew that she was not an opponent of the thing in front of her, but she was too angry at the thing to think that.

"Oh~" The thing was amused feeling her bloodlust.

He did not think that he would meet such an amusing human on his mission. He was sent here, with his brothers, on the order of Being X to capture Noah and get Origin; he never thought that he would meet a human who could release so much bloodlust.

Saeko did not waste words as she vanished from her place and appeared behind the thing. She thrusts her sword but became astonished when she saw that her sword could not pierce its skin.

She felt danger. Trusting her instinct, she ducked as the thing's hand passed above her. The river was split open behind her.

"You are a very amusing human. I like it. Do you want to become my bride?" The thing said.

Saeko's face distorted into pure disgust, "Have you ever seen your face in the mirror? If not, then you should and realize how hideous and ugly you look." She said without any shred of mercy.

If it was a normal human, and this was a normal confession, then he would have committed suicide. The thing becomes displeased hearing her.

"Then you can die!" It said and punched Saeko in the guts.

Saeko could not even see the punch, but trusting her instinct, she placed her sword – coated with energy – in front of her.

Saeko has blasted away with a great force. She coughed blood as she laid on the ground. She could tell that her organs have become a mess right now. She never felt this glad that she learned energy since she was sure that at this moment, she would have died.

She could feel her spiritual energy, slowly but surely, healing her wounds.
