It both surprised and intrigued Puru that Goddess Dimuka had planned it all only so Yaman's journal fell in the right hand. Puru was moved to see how much the goddess treasured and cherished the journal and yet, was ready to pass it on to him. As if reading his thoughts, the goddess stared right into Puru's eyes, and his heart skipped a beat with everything else melting into the background.
"Lord Puru must be very keen to have a glimpse of the treasure that he rightfully earned," the goddess smiled teasingly, noticing his dazed look.
"I am in no hurry to take possession of something so greatly valued. Ill rests the shoulder that carries such burden."
"You must not think of it as your burden, my child," Lord Bhoomi assured Puru, "instead, it is your reward for helping those people in need."
Puru chuckled as he broke a piece of the modak and put it in his mouth. "Were they humans at all?"
