Death

Enel raised his hands and roared, "EL-"

"BURN BAZOOKA!!"

A large blast of white-blue flames shot out towards Enel, interrupting his deadly attack. Enel stopped his attack on Zeph and faced the attack. Looking at the incoming flames, Enel said in a simple tone, "Kari!"

A thunderclap ensued as the air around Enel exploded. The assailant looked at Enel in shock.

"Imp-Impossible!"

The assailant is covered by tattoos adorned across his left shoulder and the left side of his face. He has a long dark brown hair arranged into a Mohawk accompanied by a braid that goes past his waist. His only clothing is a grass skirt with a rope decorated with ornaments around the skirt. He is holding a large bazooka on his shoulder aimed at Enel. He is Wyper, who shot at Enel. Right now, he is reeling in shock at the fact that Enel could easily extinguish the flames.

'He must have heated the air enough to make it explode at the speed of sound. That was a close call' thought Zeph and sighed in relief. He could slowly feel his strength growing back up but it would still take a lot more to take Enel down.

"How dare you aim that filthy weapon at God?!" Enel said in annoyance at Wyper for interrupting his judgement on Zeph. Enel lifted his index finger and let loose a lightning blast at Wyper.

"Shit!" Wyper saw the lightning blast approaching him at extreme speed. He tried to dodge it but he was too slow. The lightning blast struck him, shocking him and causing extreme pain to his body as he fell down on to the ground.

"..Well, that was easier than I expected. And you thought you could kill me? Yahahaha!" Enel mocked Wyper. Enel turned around and walked away from Wyper towards Zeph.

"W-Wait.." Wyper slowly stood up while struggling to stand on his feet. The attack put a heavy toll on his body making the pain unbearable but Wyper was one to never give up.

"Hmm?" Enel stopped walking and put his attention at Wyper.

"I-I'll take....you down, Enel!" Wyper declared while breathing heavily.

"Insolence! Your life is forfeit as of now."

Enel, with his trident in his hand, leaped towards Wyper and stabbed his trident at Wyper's heart with the intention of killing him on the spot.

Wyper saw the trident coming closer and closer to him, but he couldn't do anything as his body wouldn't respond to him. 'Damn it!' thought Wyper, feeling bitter and sad for leaving his tribe behind.

"ENEL!!!!!"

A weapon that is identical to a lance, appeared in front of Wyper and blocked Enel's trident from going any further and keeping it in place.

"Y-You.." Wyper glanced at the new arrival in disbelief.

"Save you strength." said Gan Fall in a serious tone. "You shall not bring any harm to them while I'm here." declared Gan Fall to Enel. Enel jumped back as he observed the new arrival.

'Wow, he really did come in the nick of time.' thought Zeph as he stood up. With Wyper and Gan Fall in play, he's trying to come up with a plan.

"It's the frail old man. Your arrival doesn't mean much. The most you have done is simply delayed their deaths." Enel smiled deviously.

Enel continued, "Since you wish for the prosperity of Skypiea. Watch me as I destroy Skypiea after I deal with all of you."

"You fiend! You intend to destroy this land" Gan Fall wore an ugly face in response. Wyper's eyes widened and was shocked once again at the cruelty of Enel.

Enel raised and faced his palm towards Gan Fall and Wyper.

"This time, no one can stop me!" cruelly smiled Enel.

"EL-"

"Soru" Once again interrupting his attack much to Enel's annoyance and anger, Zeph instantly vanished from his place and re-appeared behind Enel. Clenching both his fists, he shouted, "Hardening" and coated his fists with Armament.

Zeph clamped one of his hardened hand on Enel's shoulder, stopping him from transforming into his Logia Form and keeping him in place. Zeph took out the strip of cloth around his waist and aimed at Enel's back.

"AXE DIAL!" Zeph threw the strip of cloth at Enel's back. Much to Enel's horror, Enel couldn't phase nor move due to Zeph. The strip of cloth laced with Axe Dials made contact with Enel, unleashing ten sharp bursts of air instantly injuring Enel. Enel coughed out blood and was in pain. He still could not move.

'Now's the time!' thought Zeph in haste. He called out to Wyper quickly, "USE THE DIAL NOW!!"

Wyper sensing Zeph's thought, grit his teeth in pain and ran at Enel. Once he was close enough, he jumped on him and used his legs to constrict Enel's arms. The injured Enel was confused as he was feeling weak. Wyper placed his injured arm over to Enel's heart.

"Now meet your death"

"S-STOP!" Enel said in a weak tone. "I..I know you have a Reject Dial. W-What do you want?!"

Zeph pulled back as he didn't want to get hurt by the Reject Dial.

"What I want is your death" growled Wyper and shouted, "REJECT!"

A shock wave exploded out, dealing an astonishing amount of damage to both parties. After the shock wave ended, Enel is lying down on the ground with whitened eyes and a gaping mouth. Wyper could feel that his arm is injured beyond belief.

Zeph could feel his heart ceased to beat. Zeph knowing what would happen, hurriedly shouted to Gan Fall, "Gan Fall! Give me your Lance. Hurry!".

Gan Fall quickly complied and threw the lance over to Zeph. Zeph caught the lance with his hardened arms and hurried over to Enel's body.

'It's over!' thought Zeph before he plunged the lance at extreme speed towards Enel's heart and stabbed it, resulting in a gaping hole in his chest. Zeph was still feeling a bit unsettled, so he wanted to make sure that Enel is dead. He swung the lance at Enel's neck and decapitated him.

Zeph sighed in relief and sat down in exhaustion. With Enel finally being killed, Wyper succumbed to his wounds and collapsed.

Gan Fall seeing what happened, tears started falling from his eyes. Enel's reign is over. It was far too long seeing his people suffer under the cruel actions of Enel.

"Thank you very much, Zeph! We owe our lives to you." Gan Fall thanked him from the bottom of his heart.

Zeph smiled and said, "I told you I'd kill him."

"I never once doubted you. It's time for me to take the Shandian and inform the people of Skypiea about Enel's death. This is a day to be remembered."

"I'll see you later then. I still have something important left to do."

Gan Fall nodded and walked over to Wyper and picked him up. He called out for Pierre and got on his back. Gan Fall once again thanked Zeph and they flew away to their destination.

*Hiss*

Nola came out of from where she was blasted and slithered towards Zeph. Seeing the decapitated body of Enel, Nola moved around in joy.

Zeph walked over to Nola hurriedly and removed the sack that he tied around the snake. He opened the sack in anticipation.

"Please, let the devil fruit be here." Zeph prayed in nervousness.

He picked up the fruits one by one and set them out of the sack in an arranged pile. His face was getting anxious as he pulled each fruit out and seeing that it was not the Rumble-Rumble fruit. He pulled the last fruit out and was disappointed. He threw the fruit into the air in frustration and fell on his back.

"Damn it!" Zeph cursed in annoyance.

He saw the fruit that he threw into the air falling down towards him. While he was watching the fruit, the fruit in mid-air transformed into a strange looking fruit. Dark Swirls embellished the circular shaped fruit. The fruit turned light blue in colour.

The Devil Fruit landed on Zeph's stomach. Zeph's eyes widened in astonishment. His face soon had a happy grin and started laughing.

"Finally! The Rumble-Rumble fruit is mine." Zeph said happily.

He took the devil fruit in his hands and stared at it for a while. He brought the devil fruit closer to his mouth, opened his mouth and took a massive bite from it. His face instantaneously morphed into a crunched up face with his nose wrinkled, instantly disgusted at the hideous taste in his mouth.

"Bleaghh"

He fought the urge to spit the piece of devil fruit out and swallowed it with difficulty. He is happy that it doesn't require to swallow the whole fruit. He could feel a faint energy spreading throughout his body for a few seconds.

"Well, I guess that's that!" Zeph said and laughed in happiness.

Zeph went to a nearby stream and placed his hand in it. He could instantly feel the water affecting his body, the feeling of weakness overcame his body. He removed his hand and the weakness he felt was gone where his strength started to recover.

"Hey Nola, I want you to attack me with your tail." Zeph smiled.

The snake just looked at him oddly before complying with his request. Nola brought her tail in the air and whipped it with immense speed and force at Zeph. Zeph's heart thumped in excitement as he saw the tail swinging at him.

Nola's tail hit through Zeph and it continued on with force. Zeph's body broke up as lightning manifested from his body allowing the tail to go through his faded body. Nola stopped swinging her tail and she was agape at what she saw. She saw threads of lightning twisting as it entwined back together to form an outline of his appearance. Finally, the lightning that was scattered out, returned to him and formed his body. Zeph is in extreme jubilation at the fact that he can become an overpowered existence.

"No wonder people regarded the Logia Devil Fruits as an invincible ability in paradise! The fact that I can instinctively transform into my element is amazing, I guess it's more of a passive skill."

"I'll also have to increase my body strength even further, that way I can handle the power of lightning with ease."

He willed the power of lightning in his body into action, covering his entire right arm with strong electric current. Seeing the strong current flickering in his eyes, he gave a huge smirk as he had big plans for the future.
