Chapter 22: What's wrong?

Rachel don't know what to do, since Rakesh don't want them to stay with him.

"Rakesh? It's me... Rachel?" Rachel said trying to get closer a little by little but Rakesh alerted in her actions so instead he roared at her making Rachel scared a little bit from him.

She stepped back as soon as Rakesh look at her as if he barely recognize her voice or looks.

"Rakesh, please... It's me..." Rachel said sounding pleaded to Rakesh who is now struggling to his head. It was like he was trying to remove something on his head but since he can't use his human form he can't help but to feel strangle itself.

Rakesh was so weak and tired to the point that he wanted everyone to disappears. He is scare but also trying to resist it's poison to his head.

Rakesh roared again but this time not to Rakesh but roared indicate that he was in pain right now. Rachel can't help but to feel envy of how Rakesh struggling into something they still don't have a clue for what is it.

"Dennis did you see something that might researchers did to him? There must be something they put inside his body" Stacey said making Rachel look at her.

"What do you mean?" Rachel ask helplessly.

"Well, according to my theory... If an animal was trying to resist on something they usually making strange movements, or sounds, or growling at their owners, since they're owners cannot understand what their animals trying to say or to show. And since Rakesh was also part of an animal the difference was he was a dragon but I think it was trying to remove something on his body without knowing that he must be suffering right now" Stacey said. Rachel look at Rakesh who is stop struggling to himself he was tired, but wanted to remove the chip inside his head.

"How are we going to do? How are we going to help Rakesh if we still don't know what is going on to him?" Rachel ask.

"I think I know someone who can help us" Louis said making all of them look at him.

"Who?" All of them said unison.

"Well, he probably too far to wherever we are right now. But the point is that he was a veterinarian he used to operate animals. And save them too... He loves animals from dogs to any kind of animals. The thing is that, he used to be called as freak since he looks like a geek and also a nerd" Louis said.

"I didn't know that you have a friend like that?" Dennis ask.

"Well, you barely ask about my friends either that is why you don't know about him" Louis said.

"Then we have to go there, before anything happens" Rachel said.

"Uh, Rach. Remember we are inside the unknown forest and also we barely see a way out of here" Daisy said, making Rachel lose hope again. She look at Rakesh who is now lying on the grounds helpless. He was tired to get rid of it, he wanted to use his ability but it doesn't work.

"What are we going to do now?" Rachel ask.

"Well, all we need is to find a way out of here. And of course we can't get help from Rakesh right now, so it's only a matter of us from now on." Dennis said. Then they decided to leave even though it was dark they have fire to lighten their way.

A minute pass but there's no way out from the unknown forest, and Rakesh was following them although it was too far from Rachel.

Rachel felt pain the way of how Rakesh treats her badly. She thinks that maybe Rakesh wasn't feeling good maybe when he was better he will come back with her again. Where he can't be separated from her.

They walk pass through the lake and they found a bridge connected to the another opposite forest.

"So? Are we really going to the another forest?" Daisy ask and looking at the below of the bridge it was too high. She felt scared when she saw how high was the forest they were stepped on it now.

Later on they decided to walk through the bridge although there's a hesitation on Daisy since she was scared of heights. But Louis help her to get walk from the bridge and they manage to get to the opposite forest except Rakesh he was a dragon so he might fly or walk through the bridge too. But he was too big for a bridge to stay on the other side of the forest. It doesn't seems to be carried out his weight as a dragon.

When they arrive at the opposite forest they decided to past the night and leave by day since it was dangerous for them to go out in the middle of the night in the forest.

Rachel couldn't sleep and kept thinking about Rakesh who is also can't sleep. She went closer but Rakesh notice it and growl at her, but instead she kept getting closer not knowing that Rakesh might bite her. When she is close enough to Rakesh she sat next to it and caress it's head.

"How could I help you if you can't tell me what is wrong with you?" Rachel said looking at Rakesh who seems to be like how she caress his back.

"I want to help, but I don't know how would I do that if you can't even tell us what do you need." Rachel added. Rakesh wants to say it but he can't let out a words at her. It was like someone was trying to block it's ability.

"Rakesh I know that you don't fully trust me, but I trust you. I always do." Rachel said making Rakesh shocked to know that a human like her will be trusting to someone like him who is a dragon that can kill someone like her.

"Rakesh believe me, I don't want this to happen. If only I listen to you that George will betray me... I might not went to that place for my friends." Rachel said so much guilty was lingering inside her body.

Rakesh wanted to tell that it wasn't her fault but he can't voice it out. "Rakesh, do you still trust me even though I know that you were afraid of me now?" Rachel ask, honestly for Rakesh he was not fully trusting Rachel although he needed her for their kind but he knows that Rachel wasn't like them. But every time that Rakesh look at Rachel she reminds of a human who tries to kill his kind and experimented on them. He cannot understand why the researchers trying their best to kill them to the point they will soon end up extinct.

He wanted to complain about it, he wanted to ask all humans, "Why would they haunt them even though they only wanted was a peaceful place to live normally in this planet.

They already let all the animals live here peacefully, but they're kind were also an animal the difference was they were too big for them to become their pets.

This is the reason why all the dragons need to kill humans for their survival. It was like humanity, they haunt to survive, they kill to survive, they fighting to survive. What is the difference between them if they only wanted was to live in peace?" That is what Rakesh wanting to say and ask to every humans, does dragon didn't allowed to be live here in this planet in peace?

A minute later Rachel feel asleep with Rakesh on her side, Rakesh can't help but to feel weak for her. He felt like he can't protect them because his ability was being tied up in this kind of thing inside his body.

After what the researchers did to him, he can feel that his body become stiff. As if there was inside his body making his abilities blocked or being hidden somewhere part of it's body. He can't use his ability or human abilities.

He can't even transform, the only thing he can do was to fly and breathe fire. It was like he was being too weak and being sensitive.

Soon morning came when they decided to leave early so they can find a way to get out from the forest, they walked past from the bridge. Good thing even if it was night they can see the bridge from the moon light and from their torch. Although the most reliable source they had was from the moon.

A minute later they couldn't contain their stomach it was hurt because they haven't eaten from the evening. Rachel tries to request from Rakesh if they could just fly but instead he let them ride him but not flying. She sigh still no progress from her being apologizing from yesterday.

It took hours when they finally out from the forest, it wasn't too easy for them but at least there's a new progress for them to do the job.
