They've All Returned

"Earth? The Avengers? They're just a bunch of insignificant pests. I could easily crush them, just like conquering any other civilization in the past," said Thanos with indifference.

"What's infuriating is that these pests dare to offend the Master again. Master, if you give the order, I promise to utterly destroy that planet. You don't need to personally intervene!" General Ebony Maw declared after Thanos' statement.

Following Ebony Maw's proclamation, others from Thanos' entourage began to discuss the matter.

Not long ago, this peculiar game had revealed the death of Thanos, and at that time, the atmosphere had been so tense that no one dared to breathe, fearing that it would provoke Thanos' wrath and lead to their demise.

But now, seeing Thanos displaying his power in the video, crushing the so-called Avengers, they rushed to flatter him.

"Silence!" Thanos' indifferent gaze swept through the crowd, and the flattery came to an abrupt halt. His eyes focused on Ebony Maw. "Can you research this time-travel device?"

Ebony Maw's earlier proposal had intrigued him.

Since the advent of the quiz game, Thanos has found himself in a rather precarious situation. To be frank, he didn't care about his reputation as an "outcast."

Before this, his reputation hadn't been much better, as ignorant people had viewed him as a madman. But now, thanks to the free promotion from the quiz game, Thanos' name has spread throughout the universe. Thanos waved his hand. "It's not yet time for us to wage war against Time Variance Authority."

General Corvus Glaive knelt, speaking defiantly, "Master, please allow me to lead our troops to attack the Time Variance Authority. If I did not win, I'm willing to face the consequences with my life!"

His wife, Midnight Proxima, tugged at his armour, feeling that her husband's words were inappropriate and might anger Thanos.

Thanos was indeed somewhat irritated.

Time Variance Authority's methods were extremely bizarre, and the mastermind behind it was someone who could trigger chaos in multiple universes. Why should they confront them?

If they were targeted by the Time Variance Authority, they might be in more trouble than that cunning Asgardian god.

He looked down at Corvus Glaive with a cold, emotionless gaze, contemplating whether he should administer some punishment to this unruly adopted son. However, at that moment, Ebony Maw reminded him, "Master, they've succeeded... All those who disappeared have returned!"

Thanos turned to look at the large screen.

Simultaneously, on Earth, the spectators gathered around screens couldn't help but exclaim in shock.

In the video, Thanos had launched a massive attack on Earth, rendering two of the Avengers' three main heroes, Iron Man and Thor, incapacitated. Only Captain America, stood strong, facing Thanos' alien forces with a severely damaged shield, showing no fear as he fought valiantly against insurmountable odds.

Under the twilight's fading light, he stood alone against a multitude of foes, displaying an incredibly heroic and tragic scene.

"Captain America will always be our hero! Yes, he may not be a match for Thanos. But his unwavering courage and will to fight will never be extinguished!"

"It's such a shame. Everything was going smoothly, so why did that madman manage to come through as well? Captain America and Iron Man had so many restrictions on their time travel, but Thanos, with just a vial of Pym Particles, brought an entire cosmic fleet through. It's simply outrageous!"

"I agree with Iron Man. When you play with time, you should be prepared to be played by time..."

People genuinely admired Captain America's bravery. Even if he faced death, he confronted his enemies head-on, no matter how powerful or numerous they were.

Of course, if the other members of the Avengers still had fighting abilities, they would have fought alongside Captain America.

Unfortunately, Thor and Iron Man had fallen too quickly, leaving Captain America as the only one standing. It seemed like a death sentence.

Just then, Captain America heard a familiar yet unfamiliar voice through his earpiece, saying, "Hey, Cap, can you hear me?"

He stopped in his tracks, somewhat stunned.

"Cap, it's Sam. Can you hear me?"

It had been over five years since Steve Rogers had heard this familiar voice.

"To your left."

Captain America turned to his left and saw a golden circular portal slowly opening. The first to emerge were Black Panther, his sister, and the leader of the Dora Milaje. Following them, Falcon soared out of the portal.

Steve Rogers looked at them with excitement, and then he saw portal after portal opening. They were all returning—Falcon, Spider-Man, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange—they had all come back!
