Gwen was deeply disappointed by Peter's hesitations. Unable to endure the torment any longer, she decisively broke up with him. Peter did not try to stop her, only watching with tearful eyes as she walked away.

Outside the light screen, Peter felt the same pain. He asked Wanda, "Miss Wanda, what solution do you have for this problem? How did the other me in the parallel universe handle this?"

Wanda smiled and shook her head. "Don't be in such a hurry. I told you, after these future videos are over, I'll tell you. Look, a new question has come up."

As she said this, the video on the screen paused, and a line of text appeared:

Wanda thought for a moment and said, "Option D is unlikely because the hitman who was after your parents might have also died in the crash, and he was just a small fry following orders. If we rule out options B and C, then let's choose A."

Despite his outstanding work abilities, designing New York's entire electrical grid, Max was very introverted and awkward. He was unnoticed at the company and had no friends, living a solitary life.

Since Spider-Man saved his life and encouraged him, Max became a fervent fan of Spider-Man. He covered his home with Spider-Man posters and figurines and even fantasized about being Spider-Man's close friend. He would talk to himself at home, playing the role of Spider-Man to celebrate his own birthday, evoking much sympathy from the audience.

But the worst was yet to come. After work, everyone left, but Max was asked to stay and work overtime. Today was his birthday, yet the introverted and unnoticed electrical engineer didn't dare to refuse and obediently went to work.

He had to repair a device for breeding electric eels, which required shutting off the electricity for safety. However, when he called a colleague, the colleague had already left and didn't care. Initially, as Electro, Max had a strong craving and obsession with absorbing electricity, like a starving person needing food and water. He needed a lot of electricity to satisfy his hunger.

Meanwhile, Peter was on a date with Gwen and learned that she was going abroad for further studies. The two were about to part ways, and their chances of meeting again would become increasingly rare. Peter hoped that even if they couldn't be lovers, they could still be good friends. Just as they were engrossed in conversation, Peter's keen senses suddenly detected something.

Max had arrived at Times Square. As an engineer who had participated in the planning of New York's power grid, he knew where to find enough electricity to feed himself. At this moment, he actually didn't have much malice, only the instinctive desire to "feed."

However, the transformed Max was filled with anger. His mental state was already unstable, and after this ordeal, he showed clear signs of turning to the dark side.

Just at that moment, a sniper in the distance suddenly fired. The bullet didn't harm Electro at all, but it completely enraged him.
