101 Spirit Animal / 10.6 : Opening his eyes

Jace narrowed his eyes and asked:

"What's your name?"

"Jacob Penn."

"You should stay out of it Jacob Penn."

Jacob sneered:

"Shouldn't you stay out of it too?"

"I'm the detective in charge of this murder case."

Jacob said:

"You shouldn't be. Do you think I don't smell her on you? You clearly have a relationship with whoever gave you Eden's name and it's a conflict of interest. You're biased and had already made up your mind before you came here or you wouldn't have brought backup."

Jacob's spirit animal is an ox, they are fair-minded and observant. They can tell you more about yourself than you can.

Jace looked at Jacob in silence. He looked at Eden who was standing at the side and ordered:

"Get in the car."

He walked around and sat behind the wheel without handcuffing him.

Eden was about to get in but he stopped and looked at Jacob.
