When he arrived he was met with worrying news. He met an anonymous man who requires the hunter’s assistance. He agrees and together they set out to reach the other side of Haldin. Who is this man?

"I know it's my responsibility. You don't have to watch out for me, Sandruil. I'm not a child."

"Really?"

"Sandruil! That's not nice. Besides, I'm probably older than you. You look young."

"You are. I'm only in my early 20's," he said, as he unhitched his ride. A large white wolf.

"Is that a wolf?" Bannel asked, slightly worried.

"Yes, his name's Amoux," Sandruil responded, nonchalantly.

"I see." Bannel had nothing else to say. He unhitched Bramble and mounted her once again. "So where exactly are we going?"

"You'd do anything for the supplies, correct?" Sandruil asked as they began to leave Gianapo, making their way slowly through the crowd of people.

"Yes?" Bannel was frightened now. Where the hell were they going?

"Epikindynas."

Epikindynas? Mr. Abiri had told him specifically to stay away from the North, to not look to that Kingdom for help. Why does Sandruil need to go there? It's a lost kingdom, taken by the ghouls. There's nothing left.

"What's in Epikindynas?" Bannel asked as they finally got out of Gianapo.

"Your supplies." Sandruil answered that very oddly. Bannel was starting to think that he shouldn't trust this man. Who is he? And why does he have strange dealings with Epikindynas?

They rode in silence for about an hour until they took a break to let Bramble and Amoux drink from the near by lake.

"What are you?" Bannel asked without making eye contact with the strange man.

"What do you mean, Bannel?"

"Your skin has scales, your ears are of an elf, you wear a robe obviously to cover your physical form. Sandruil, I'm simply just a curious man, I mean you no harm."

"Why is it that the ones who do mean harm always say they don't?" Bannel didn't know what to say to that. He was angry but at the same time he didn't care. He was there for the supplies, he didn't need to know about his company.

Bramble and Amoux were done not long after that. They mounted again and continued on their way.

"So are we going through Selelath or the Forrest to get to Epinkindynas?" Bannel asked.

"Both," Sandruil responded, "the men of Selelath have a treaty with my people, they will not cause us harm.

"I've heard that the north-east is filled with danger."

"Thats why you have me."
