Thirteen

"Not her." Dom stopped the NATO commander. They all went to stand by him. 

"She was working with Shaw." He replied. 

"Was." Dom pointed out. "But she's always been one of us." 

"Let's give them a minute." Hobbs said to the commander. 

The commander walked out, followed by Riley and Hobbs.

"Come here." Bri whispered to Rae. She followed him over to Letty. 

"Hey. Look, I don't- I don't even know how to say this to you, but, um- Everything that's happened to you is because of me. I'm the one that put you undercover-" Bri said. 

"Stop. I may not remember anything, but I know one thing about myself. Nobody makes me do anything I don't want to." She replied before walking away. 

"You feel better?" Rae asked. 

Brian shook his head. "No." He answered before walking away from his sister. 

"Hey, Toretto! You need to hear this." Hobbs walked in with Shaw. They all stood, making their way over to them. 

"You guys really think you've won." Shaw said. "This code you live by? It's the very reason why you weren't even in the game. I told you exactly what I was going to do if you didn't walk away, Toretto. But you didn't listen. I told you I can reach out and break you whenever I want. And I have." 

Regan looked over to Brian. Everything in her was screaming call Mia. 

"Maybe you should call Mia." Shaw said. Regan's heart sank. 

"Mia." Brian said into the phone. Whatever he heard on the other side 4sent him straight at Shaw, his fists connecting with the side of his face. Roman and Tej grabbed Brian. 

"So this is how it's gonna go down." Shaw spit blood from his mouth. "You're gonna cut me loose from these cuffs. You're gonna give me the chip. I'm gonna walk out of here and you're not gonna follow." 

"You must be joking." The commander said. 

"Look at his face." Shaw said, moving closer to Dom. "Ask him if I'm joking." 

"One hostage does not outweigh the threat to millions." The commander said. 

"I disagree." Rae replied. 

"I'm sorry, but this changes nothing." The commander told her. 

Hobbs cocked his gun. "It changes everything. You tell your men to stand down." 

"Stand down." The commander ordered. 

"Toretto, I need you to know, the moment we let him walk out that door with that chip, words like 'amnesty' and 'pardon' walk out with him." Hobbs said. 

"Those words went out the day we were born." Dom replied. Regan stood a little straighter as they uncuffed Shaw and his men. 

"Coming, babe?" Shaw asked. Regan's eyes wandered to Letty. 

"Of course. I wouldn't miss is for the world." Riley answered. 

Regan's face hardened. As proud as she was to have been right, she was also pissed about it.

"Like I said, you were never in the game." Shaw said. "I see you on the horizon, I'll make the call, and the girl's dead." Shaw called as he walked out. 

"I just jammed every signal up and down the spectrum." Tej announced as they loaded up their guns. 

"Let's move." Dom ordered. 

"Hey." Tej called to Rae. "I'm sorry for calling you paranoid and basically saying you were wrong. Looking back on it, you were right and had I paid a bit more attention I would've noticed."

"Yeah, well, you weren't the only one who didn't listen to me." Regan replied. Her gaze landed on Dom. "I've gotta go." She told him, leaning up for a quick kiss before she followed after Dom. 

Regan sat in the back seat beside Letty as Dom drove, Brian in the passenger's seat. 

"Hey." She whispered. "When this is all over, I have a few questions for you." 

Rae nodded. "I'd be happy to answer whatever." She replied. 

"What the fuck is that?" Rae asked about the booming sound over them. A plane quickly came into view. "Shit." 

"She's as good as dead if Shaw gets away on that plane." Letty told Dom. 

"Then we don't let him get away." Dom replied. 

They kept driving. Dom turned to Brian. 

"Ride or die." He said. 

"Ride or die." Brian replied. 

"Ride or die." Rae added. 

Han took out the goons in front of them, Dom swerving his way through. Dom pulled right into the plane, taking Riley out with the car. Regan smiled as she heard Riley roll over the windshield. Dom got out with his shotgun. Brian got out with his handgun, pulling Rae out with him. She had her handgun in hand, making her way behind Bri. A huge guy came from the side of a shipment, lifting Brian into the air before slamming him onto the hood of the car. Rae aimed her gun, but he lifting his left arm to smack her into the wall. She bounced right back, attempting to jump into his back and failed. He picked her up by her throat, the way he did Brian, and threw her into the wall. She yelped as Brian finally managed to get him off. He found Shaw, trying his best to keep Shaw from Mia. Rae spotted Mia. 

"Go." She called, grabbing her gun before getting up. She made her way over to Shaw and Brian just as Shaw went to pick up a pipe. 

"Stop." She ordered, holding the gun up. 

"No!" Mia yelled just as The huge guy fell through a shipment, taking Shaw down. Rae pulled Brian out and  off the floor. 

"Go!" Dom yelled at them. 

"Come on, let's go." Brian told the girls. 

They ran over to a red car. "Yeah, get in the car." 

Brian and Mia did, but Rae noticed Letty and Riley. 

"You go." Rae told them. "I have something I need to finish." 

"No, what? Regan!" Brian called. Rae ran over to Letty, Her fits connecting with Riley's face. She and Letty exchanged a glance and a slight nod. Riley stood, spinning and kicking them both. Rae got up elbowing the gun from her hand as Letty swiped Riley's feet from under her. Riley did the same to Regan, sending her crashing on top of Riley. Letty made a move for her gun, Riley pulling her back by the ankle. Regan pushed herself from Riley, moving for the gun herself. Riley finally pulled herself from the floor, picking up a 2x4 off of the shipments and smacking Regan right upside the head with it. She took this opportunity to push Letty up against the wall. Letty reached over, pulling the lever on the door. She spun Riley around just as Regan was getting up. She kicked Letty off of her. Hobbs tossed one of the grappling guns to Letty. 

"Wrong team, bitch." Letty told her before pulling the trigger. 

"Nice." Regan told her, pulling Letty from the ground. 

"Thanks for your help." Letty replied. "This time and last." 

"Anytime." Rae replied. 

As they stood there, they all felt the pull of the plane. Regan stumbled a bit into Letty. 

"They did it." She mumbled. 

The cars started to all shift to one side. It was hard to stand. 

"We gotta move, it's going down." Hobbs said. 

"Go!" Dom told Hobbs. "Regan next." 

Hobbs jumped down into the car. Rae looked out the door. 

"Come on, baby." Tej called.

Rae jumped, Hobbs catching her. Next was Letty, Hobbs catching her the same way. 

"Come on." Letty called to Dom. He walked away from the door. "Dom!" 

"You okay?" Tej asked Rae, noticing the blood on her forehead. 

"Yeah. Just got hit with a 2x4, that's all." She replied. 

The plane was starting to catch fire as they drove away, falling to finish its exploding. Letty and Rae watched intently. Finally, a car broke through. They both smiled at each other until the car rolled, getting lost in the plane. Tej came to a stop with Brian and Han as they waited. They all climbed out of their cars, watching the fire and waiting. 

A figure emerged from the flames, making them all smile. Rae went straight into Tej's arms. She noticed Brian wrapped around Han. 

"Where's Gisele?" She asked Mia. Mia shook her head. Rae's heart sank, waiting for Brian to release Han to hug him herself. 

1327. A home new to Regan, but home nonetheless. Rae made her way over to Tej, who was at the barbecue. 

"Hey." She whispered. 

"Hey, baby." He replied. 

"We did it." She whispered. 

Tej smiled. Rae kissed his cheek before walking over to Brian and Mia. Dom and Brian were talking about Jack's car when Hobbs showed up. 

"Hey, Mia, you better hide your baby oil." Roman said. 

"You better hide that big ass forehead." Hobbs shot back. "It's official. You're all free. Wasn't half bad, havin' you work for me." 

Dom laughed. "We all know you were working for me, Hobbs." 

"Agree to disagree." Brian said. "Thank you." 

"Thank you, Hobbs." Rae said, making her way back to Tej. 

"All right everybody. Let's eat." Roman called. 

They all sat at the table. Brian pointed up at Rome. "First bite. He's got grace. House rules, man. House rules." 

"Okay, Roman. Bless our table." Dom told him. 

"Father, thank you for the gathering of friends. Father, we give thanks for all the choices we've made because that's what makes us who we are. Let us forever cherish the loved ones we've lost along the way. Thank you for the little angel, the newest addition to our family. Thank you for bringing Letty home. And most of all, thank you for fast cars."
