I completed the first part of the book. This sadly shows patriarchy at it's worst. Simply because an older woman falls for a younger man(about 3 years )people start persecuting her. She loses everything she cared about, her lover, career and dignity. The worst part of it is that the ML's grandfather made sure that she lost her teaching license. Maria gets into a car accident that changes her life forever unknown to her that her lover also gets into an accident. Lies and cover ups make her life a living hell. After a long time she reconnects with her former lover and finally rekindle their love. I like the poem Maria recites to Ad din while she proposes to him.Who would have known that Maria's mother left her to become a heartless human trafficker. All in all a good read and the author is very talented. Looking forward to reading the second part of the bookβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
A well written book I must say and loved it a lot π₯°π₯°π It's been a while since I've read a proper romance novel hence gave this book a try and I'm so glad I did. All the characters were well designed, their background and relationships were very well developed ππ»ππ»ππ» Everyone has their own demons in their closet and we have no right to judge others... never pretend and always like the other person for what they are... this is something I believe in and it was very well shown in the authors writing with well emoted emotions π€π€π€π I'm glad I read this book and thank you author for writing such a heartwarming live stories πππππ§‘β€
So I just dived in the first few chapters and I can see why this story is so popular. The writing is excellent, the updates are consistently, the story development is great, characters are awesome, and world background is good enough for this sort of tale. The only thing I could say, is I'd like a bit more visual description in terms of the setting and the background. I like to know how the buildings, outside, and that sort of stuff looks. I like to know more about how each person looks. Sometimes it is nice to even get down the smells someone takes in though I myself don't describe smells as much as I'd like to. But in this case since I'm in a good mood and this story shines well over most of what I see, I'll make an exception and give it 5 stars. Author, I welcome you to check out my original story "Avatar: Macai's Journey". I'd love to see what your views on it would be.
Well I really enjoy this novel, from what I've read so far, its relatable and that's one thing I love to see in any novel I'll get stock with, the only thing I don't like is that it went premium early from chapter 60. I don't have coins to enjoy the reading which is so disheartening as I really want to know how Calia and Kobby ended up together and how Maria and Ad-Din ended. Its the persecution of love with its misunderstandings but I love the fact that when Maria and Ad-Din met again to talk years later, she did not lead him on in believing that she's married which is a good platform for them to start over. You can always pick it up and you won't regret doing so.
I still have to finish reading this novel but so far so good. I was heartbroken when the FL lost everything after the powers that be found out about her relationship with the ML. This shows patriarchy at it's worst. I don't think that if roles were reversed that could have happened. And the FL was naive not finding out who the male lead was after returning and her looking for a job at his company ππππ. Anyway this is a good read and I aim to follow through with the reading
