Two types of Jivas—
Both have forgotten themselves;
Both have lost themselves;
Both have been separated from Krsna;
But why is that?
Material Jivas can't feel any separation?
They must still love Him, don't they?
Don't they feel any frustration?
When they aren't around Him anymore?
Don't they feel like dying,
But can't even die anymore?
Gopis do,
Vrajvasis do;
They also separated from Him
For more than a hundred years,
And their eyes,
Filled with affectionate tears,
Whenever they remembered His smiling face,
His dancing gait,
His loving whispers,
They feel the pain of separation.
Then why can't the material Jivas feel it too?
Jivas is again a Sanskrit word. It means us, the souls.
Gopis means cowherd girls (His topmost devotees. Remember I said about Srimati Radharani expanding herself? Those are Gopis.)
Vrindavan is the place where Krsna lives for eternity.
