He Adores You

The moment Mason left the house his father got into a panic.

"What is the matter?" Deb asked him when she came into his study to let him know dinner was ready and she met him pacing back and forth, his face turned up a scowl as he typed angrily on his phone.

"Jack, what is the problem?" Deb asked again when he wouldn't look up from his phone.

"Did Mason say anything to you before he left?" Jack asked, still typing on his phone.

"Anything like what?" Deb asked looking at him in confusion. "What did he say to you to get you so worked up?"

"He knows," Jack said, now looking up from his phone and focusing his attention on his wife.

"He knows what?" Deb asked coming closer to him.

"About John...." Jack didn't have to finish his statement before Deb quickly picked up on what he was talking about.

Her eyes widened in shock. "How... How come?"

"Ben Franklin, I think."
