Getting Faraway

Ava's chest felt so tight as she stumbled into the street, she needed to get far away from Mason as fast as possible. She knew he would come after her, to try and stop her, so she started running.

Her whole world was crashing down before her eyes, literally. The man she loves so much and built her world around is the same person who has caused her so much pain.

Ava kept on running without knowing where she was going. Tears clouded her vision as she ran. She had no idea where she was going, she just wanted to get away.

It was when she heard a loud honk behind her, and she jumped in fear, startled by the sound, that she realized she was in the middle of the road.

"What is the matter with you? Are you blind?" An angry driver cussed at her as he zoomed past her.

"I'm sorry," Ava muttered as she moved to the side of the road. She was disoriented as she looked around trying to figure out where she was. How did she get here?
