The Trial Has Begun

(3rd Person P.O.V)

Everyone woke up to see Jonathan making breakfast, then Dellie asked "Is it true that your Grand Trial is taking place today?" Jonathan nodded, everyone was chattering wishing Jonathan good luck in his Grand Trial against Kahuna Hala

"I heard Riley is also battling Hala!" Mist said, "That's right!" Riley said, everyone ate breakfast and chattered for a bit until they thought they were ready to start the day! Then a bucket of paint fell on top of Luca drenching him in purple paint which was thankfully washable… he then heard a familiar laugh

"Bahahahaha! Still a loser, eh? Hahaha!" An Accelgor said emerging out of a bush with a rope in hand "Shellie, I never knew you would make such a return…" Luca said glaring at Accelgor, Shellie then handed him a towel as he cleaned off the paint

"Aren't you a little too old for this Shellie?" Luca said again "Pranks are for everyone of all ages!" Shellie said, "I think the others are somewhere in the other islands…" She continued, everyone kept walking after Shellie stated about some friends being on other islands

"So who takes the Grand Trial first?" Riley asked, Jonathan then said, "Maybe I could do it first, I would want you to train first!" Riley nodded "Maybe you can take it first, after all, you're quite strong!" Riley stated, everyone chuckled as they went to Iki Town…

*intro plays*

I could get used to this heat on my skin

I could feel every day I'm a little bit stronger

(Jonathan's P.O.V)

At Hala's house

"Hey, Hala, may we take the grand trial?" I asked

'So you two seek the grand trial? I shall grant your challenge."

They walk to the battlefield

"Alright, let's get started," Hala said

'Go Machop!" Hala said

"Let's do this." I said

(3rd person P.O.V)

Machop uses Force Palm.

Jonathan dodges and uses Flare Blitz.

Machop uses its arms to shield its face.

Machop uses Bulk Up.

Jonathan then uses Hyper Beam.

Machop faints, Hala then sent out Crabrawler,

Jonathan starts out with Hyper Beam.

Crabrawler uses Leer and lowers Jonathan's Defense.

Jonathan uses Last Resort to finish off Crabrawler.

Then Hala then sent out his last pokemon.

Makuhita came onto the field and used Arm Thrust.

Jonathan takes the hit head-on with Flare Blitz

The attacks cancel each other out.

Then Jonathan uses his Z-ring to use Inferno Overdrive.

The Z-Move did a number on the Makuhita but he hung in there.

He then uses Whirlwind.

Jonathan just stood there and took the attack then uses Hyper Beam

Then the beam hits and takes down the Makuhita.

(Jonathan's POV)

"Phew, that was tough. thanks for the trial Hala." I said bowing

"Your welcome, here, take this Fightinium Z" Hala said while handing Jonathan the Z-Crystal.

"Thank you very much" I said respectively

(Riley's P.O.V)

I walked up to Hala and asked him "May I also have a battle, Hala?" Hala nodded and the battle began

Machop used Seismic Toss

Riley used Calm Mind

"It went well!" I said "It was a great battle between Hala and I!" Jonathan said, then Luca came by with a box of Malasadas "I felt like it was mandatory to bring a box of Malasadas…" Luca said "Hey where's Dellie?" Jonathan asked

"Behind you…" Dellie said creeping up behind Jonathan, the Flareon looked startled while Luca, Dellie, Mist and I were dying of laughter. Jonathan then joined in on the laughing fun, that was when we heard a crash and saw debris floating over near a shore

"What is this?" Jonathan asked "I don't know, it came from Akala I think…" Mist said, everyone paused for a moment

"To Akala we go…" Luca and Dellie said at the same time

I grabbed surfboards and we all surfed to Akala together…

(3rd Person P.O.V)

As the gang arrived to Akala, a Blaziken ran up to them

Blaziken: *pant, pant* It's a ding dang crisis over there… *huff*

The Blaziken was so tired that something hung from her neck, it was a Sun-Cosmo Emblem

Luca: Wait… Barrie?!

Barrie: Luca?! Is that Dellie too?! Oh my god, where have you been, it's chaos over there!

Dellie: All of us are on our way to investigate, don't worry…

Everyone was walking to the caused damage and there they were, the Tapus…

Tapu Koko: What kind of plan is this Lele?

Tapu Lele: Well we could've carried the plan successfully if Bulu wasn't being an idiot!

Tapu Bulu: Both of you were interrupting my plan, I couldn't concentrate!
