Chapter 61 - End Of The Marauders

[July of 2012]

[Underground Tunnels]

3rd PoV

"Okay, that's enough."

Andrew finally decided that it was about time to make a move as he took down his invisibility and and stood up from his sitting position at the protruding big rock.

"Huh?" Arclight voiced out as she confusedly turned her head to look at the wall above.

There, she saw a featureless man wearing a three piece black suit with his hands tucked in his pocket in a relaxed manner. Then the man jumped down from the rock and fell down while still maintaining that standing up posture.

*Bam*

Dust and rocks flew everywhere as Andrew landed to the ground firmly. He continued looking at the woman – whose wide smile slowly faded away – as he started walking towards her.

The relaxed and calm aura that surrounds him made the cruel and arrogant woman seriously take a stance as she prepared herself while thinking to herself 'Is he that mutant hero who's making himself known lately?'

On the other hand. Andrew eventually stopped a dozen meters away from Arclight as he spoke "Would you let them go for me?"

Arclight was confused by why he was wasting his time asking instead of attacking but her curiosity got her as she answered back "No. Not letting them go is my job."

"Hm. I see. Then you should..."

Arclight reply wasn't able to hear the last part of what Andrew said as she quipped. "What?"

Andrew ruffled his hair as he talked again. "I said die."

"Wha–!!" Arclight wasn't able to finish her question as Andrew lifted his hands and pointed his fore finger at her "Bang."

*Swoosh!*

A ball of compressed air then manifested and immediately shot at Arclight. Her enhanced reflexes, reaction and agility wasn't able to save her as it quickly smashed at her.

*Bang!*

*Splash!*

The attack connected and immediately took away her left arm and a portion of her torso as Arclight stood there with a blank look.

The removed flesh and bones were reduced to mere pieces as it roughly smashed to the ground behind her.

The lying Callisto who was surprisingly still conscious through the whole attack of Arclight earlier had her eyes widened as she layed on the ground with amazement in her eyes.

But hidden beneath that was a glimmer of cautiousness and fear as she still doesn't know why the featureless man was saving them.

Some might call her ungrateful but being cautious was already ingrained in her nature because the moment she got revealed as a mutant was the day she experienced how cruel humanity can be.

On the other hand. Arclight snapped out of her dazed state as her brain finally registered the pain that her grievous wound was giving her.

"AHHHHHHHHH!" She wailed in agony like a bitch having her throat slitted as she fell to her knees and dumbly grasped her large wound with her other hand.

"... ARRRRGHH!" The pain only intensified after she touched her wound as her wailing doubled up in its Intensity.

"..." Andrew looked at her with an annoyed expression as her cries were irritating him. He then lifted his hands again and attacked the other side of her body.

*Swoosh!*

*Bang*

Blood and flesh once again splattered to the ground as Arclight lost her balance and dropped to her back as she continued moving about like a caterpillar.

"AHHHHH!"

Her cries only intensified at that attack as Andrew brought his pinky to his ears and picked it with his face twitching in irritation.

"AHHHHH!"

"AHHHHH!"

..

..

Her cries continued on as Andrew finally decided to end it all. He raises his palms in the air and brought it down forcefully.

A portion of the rocky ceiling was then removed and then smashed down to the wailing woman who had no idea that her death was imminent.

*Bang*

The big ass rock that formed into a flat shape along the way smashed down as her body – which also has enhanced durability – wasn't able to take the force and was then reduced to pieces. Pieces of flesh and drops of blood flying everywhere.

"Okay, that's a wrap." Andrew clapped his hands together in an attempt to remove the non-existent dirt as he then turned his head to look at the wide-eyed Callisto.

Callisto on the other hand started to panic for a bit as Andrew started walking towards her. The latter eventually stood in front of the lying form of the former as he looked down at her with a squinted eyes.

Andrew then crouched down and then touched the head of the panicking Callisto as he started healing her life threatening injuries.

Her bent bones started moving on its own as it snapped back to its original places while the missing flesh from her body regenerated into new ones in a matter of moments.

One Minute Later

Callisto – who was gritting her teeth from the painful healing procedure – was now trying to stand up as eventually stood straight. Not a single wound on her body except for her missing right eye.

Andrew knows that her eye injury has some kind of sentiment value to her so he didn't heal that up and only focused on her current injuries.

Callisto clenched her hands as she cannot believe what she was feeling right at the moment. It feels as if she was full of energy.

This feeling was rare for her and the other Morlocks since they rarely have their stomach full and would only go about their day with one meal a day.

She eventually stopped checking her own body as she finally lifted her head to look at the silent featureless man.

"So, wh–" She tried to ask but she was interrupted by Andrew who raised a finger as if he forgot about something.

Andrew then turned his head and looked at Arclight'd teammates. Blockbuster was obviously still alive courtesy of his touch and powerful body along with Scalphunter and Harpoon while Vertigo and Scrambler were already dead, succumbing to their injuries.

Andrew then willed it as the still-alive Marauders all floated to the air and then began twitching.

*CRACK!*

*TWIST*

A loud cracking noise resounded to the air as the three's body started moving in strange way as they twisted and coiled to themselves. Resulting to their immediate death.

*TWIST TWIST*

Their bodies – which now looked more like a big colorful rope – flew away and smashed to the wall, partially embedding themselves inside it.

Andrew's head snapped to the exit as he saw the head of Caliban and some Morlock kids peeking out, catching the horrifying scene.

Andrew sighed at that as he then turned back to Callisto. "These guys aren't the only ones out there aiming for you as there are a bunch of their clones sitting in some laboratory of a certain scientist. So you better come with me if y'all still wanna live."

At this point. Caliban and the others have completely went inside as they went to the side of Callisto.

Andrew looked and signaled to Caliban as the latter quickly realized what he wants and then brought the kid that was attacked by Harpoon earlier.

The kid was unconscious while his complexion was already super pale as Andrew touched the head of the kid. The baby fist size hole in the kid's stomach vegan regenerating starting from within.

The damaged organs and other stuff healed at a fast pace and the big hole on the kid's stomach eventually disappeared.

""Woah."" The other young Morlocks had their eyes widened while Caliban and Callisto was silent.

Andrew then turned his head to the unconscious Sunder and Masque as he looked at Caliban while nudging his head to the two's direction.

Caliban quickly brought Masque in front of Andrew and then tried carrying Sunder but the latter proved to be too much heavy for his meager strength as he turned to look at Callisto with "please help" written on his face.

Andrew on the other hand was thinking twice if he should save this guy known as Masque as he can already see too much vile things in the hideous-looking meta's mind.

But seeing that he steeled his useless balls and helped earlier, Andrew decided that it was no biggie as he then proceeded to heal the mutant up.

Masque quickly regained consciousness after he was healed and then immediately too a stance after seeing an unfamiliar person standing by his downed body.

"He's not an enemy." Callisto waved at him to dispel his worries as she walked past the guy and then gently placed the big ass Sunder in front of Andrew.

Andrew was tired repeatedly crouching down as he just waved his hand and the bald muscular mutant quickly healed under the watchful eyes of the Morlocks.

Sunder also regained consciousness but didn't try to attack Andrew – which was the latter's doing – as he then went to stand beside Callisto.

*Clap!*

"Okay, finally. Now, we will talk heart to heart." Andrew said with a casual tone as he made a wooden chair appear – which came from his spatial space – as then sat at it.

"Do y'all wanna live normally again?"
