Chapter 11: "I like you."

A few hours later

"Wake up Elle." Zach whispers shaking my shoulder gently

"Huh?" I ask opening my eyes

"I want you to see something."

I nod and stand up

Zach takes off his clothes but remains in his boxers

"What are you doing?" I asked confused

"We're gonna jump off the cliff."

"Have you gone insane?"

"Just get undressed."

"I'd rather not." I say nervously because im insecure of my body

He picks up his t-shirt from the floor and hands it over to me. I take it gratefully

"Turn around." I say

He rolls his eyes and then turns around. I take my joggers off aswell as my sweat t-shirt  letting my clothes hit the ground. I quickly slip into his t-shirt which reaches just slightly past my mid thigh.

"Im done."

He turns around looks me up down and smiles

"It looks good on you."

I nod trying to hide my crimson cheeks

He walks over to me and takes my hand walking to the edge of the cliff

"Are you ready?" He asks

I nod

"3,2,1!"

We jump off, our hands till intertwined, our bodies falling through the air until it hits the water surprisingly gently. Ahhh the adrenaline. I love it!

I keep my head under the water for a while before coming up for air.

"It's lovely!" I exclaim

Zach chuckles

"Have you ever seen a sunrise?" He asks sweetly

I shake my head

"The sun should rise anytime." He says pointing west

I turn around in the direction, and wait.

Suddenly i feel his hands wrapping around my waist.

"I didn't mean what i said yesterday Elle." He whispers into my ear

"I know." i whisper back

"I do care about you Elle, and now i finally realize how much i need you in my life. Thanks for not giving up on me."

I nod

After a while the sun starts to rise. The first rays of the sun are cool as they brace my eyes. The sunrise marks the journey of the sun in the sky. At first, there appears a small ball of light in the sky. It then goes on increasing in size and shine.

I turn around, my hands now on on Zach chest, i look into his eyes, his hazel eyes in the sun is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

He leans in, His face so close to mine that i could feel his breath on my face. I place my hands on the back of his neck pulling him in and crash my lips into his. Time seems to stop but the flutter only intensified. My heart pounding in my chest as my knees got weaker. Only focusing on how soft he felt against my mouth, how addictively he invaded all my senses.

Eventually i pull back, my forehead resting on his as i look at his swollen lips.

"You're perfect." He whispers

I smile

"We should go, we got school soon" i say as i turn around to swim away but he grabs me by the wrist

"What?" I ask

"Today we're gonna work on our assignments."

"So we're skipping school?" I ask

"Yup" he says poping the P

I nod

"Let's go to my place." He says as he takes my hand in his.

Zach's place

"Where's Kayla's parents?" I ask

"They're barely at home."

I nod

"Can i take a shower please?"

"Of course. "

He leads me to his bathroom, and i step in closing the door.

I step into the shower, allowing the water to run down my hair and down my body, i use Zach's shower gel and his shampoo. Since there was nothing else to use. Im about to get out but realize that he hadn't given me a towel.

"Zach!" I shout

"Yes?" He asks standing on the other end of the door

"I need a towel."

I hear him laugh, then walk away, after a minute he comes back and opens the door keeping his one hand over his eyes, while his other hand holds the towel. I take it from him wrapping it around my body.

He walks out and i follow him.

"Zach, i need some clothes."

He walks over to his cupboard, and takes out a pair of joggers and a hoodie, placing it on his bed

"I was thinking i could borrow Kayla's clothes." I say

"No way, you're wearing mine!"

"Zach, i need underwear."

He walks out his room and comes back a while later with some underwear of Kayla's.

"Thanks."

He nods and walks out, closing the door behind him. I can help but admire how much respect he has.

I pull the underwear on aswell as the joggers and the hoodie. I sit on his bed looking around and something catches my eye, a big book on Zach's book. Does he write too? I cant help but walk over to his desk. I open the book. Zach sketches?!! I admire each and every sketch as i page through the book but when i reach a page at the end of the book. I see me. He sketched me!!

Suddenly i hear a knock at thedoor, i jump up, closing the book and walking over to his bed sitting down on his bed.

"Elle, are you done?"

"Yes."

He turns the knob and walks in, eyeing me suspiciously. I try to hide my shocked expression. HE SKETCHED ME?!!

"Breakfast?" He asks

I nod

He walks down the stairs and i follow him

Zach decided to make choclate pancakes. A moan escaping my mouth. I've never had anything so delicious in my life. I close my eyes as i take another bite. I hear Zach chuckling.

"What?" I ask annoyed

"You sound cute when you moan."

I try to hide my crimson cheeks making a curtain with my hair.

"Milk Tea?" He asks

I nod

"How about i make you a cup of milk tea, and you make me a cup of black tea." He gestures

I laugh and get up, i walk into the kitchen, Zach behind me, i fill the kettle up and boil it.

"Watch and learn Zach."

He just laughs

"First you put a teabag in the cup, then three teaspoons of sugar. Once the water is done boiling you pour it into your cup, stir and remove the teabag. Simple"

He just watches me, focusing on every little detail as if though it was complicated to make a cup of black tea.

"Well Isabelle, to make a perfect cup of milk tea, you'll have to warm the milk up first."

I watch as he pours milk into a cup, stopping once it's half full, then puts it in the microwave for 40 seconds.

"While you're waiting, boil the kettle. Once the milk is heated, place the teabag in with three teaspoons of sugar, add the boiling water and stir, remove the teabag."

After our tea, we headed back to Zach's room to work on our assignments.

"Likes?" I ask him

"You." He answers

"Huh?"

"I like you."

I sigh

"Zach we'll never be able to complete our assignment if you keep flirting."

He rolls his eyes, then smirks a mischievous look on his face

"Let's play a game."

"No Zach, we've got work to do."

"What's wrong, are you scared?"

"Game on Zachary."

"Alrighty then, it called answer or strip."

"I should have known." I say while rolling my eyes

"So basically we'll ask each other questions, if the other person doesn't want to answer the question, they have to remove a piece of clothing And whoever has the least clothes on at end of the game, has to jump into the pool."

"I just washed my hair! Choose another punishment."

"Okay ill think of something while we play. Ladies first?"

I sigh. Im gonna regret this
