Chapter 20: Get Lead To Mysterious Rescuer

Chief Lee studied the enhanced image on Eun-Ho's phone with a focused expression. The partially visible face, obscured by sunglasses, seemed to be the only clue they had at the moment. Detective Kim's words sparked a glimmer of determination in Chief Lee's eyes.

"Alright, now we don't have much choice. Let's gather our best sketch artist. We need to create a composite image based on what we have. Every detail matters; we might be able to recognize him through some distinctive features," Chief Lee instructed.

"Okay, sir, I will now give this photo to Sergeant Park to make a sketch of this person as soon as possible," Detective Kim said.

As Chief Lee organized the team for the composite sketch, he received a message on his phone. It was a confirmation from headquarters about the deployment of officers to the various locations associated with the drug trade. The operation was officially underway.

"Now the team has been deployed to the locations you gave us, Detective Kim. And I know it is impossible to catch the Drug Lord off guard. I can say that much, he did not contact anyone from his gang in fear of getting caught. But we have to let him know what fear is for touching our people," Chief Lee directed, his tone unwavering.

Then suddenly a thought came to Chief Lee's mind and he asked Eun-Ho and Sergeant Choi, "Do you know how he brought that patient here?" Chief asked them this question because something triggered in his mind.

"The nurse was saying that he had come here using his own car and due to this, there was blood all over the backseat of his car and..." Eun-Ho stopped by saying this much.

"And... and what? Why are you keeping us in suspense, Eun-Ho?" Sergeant Choi said impatiently because he is an impatient person.

"And she was also telling that the person saved her with the help of his coat. The girl was tied so tightly that blood had stopped oozing out from her body and if he hadn't brought her here, then by now the girl would not be in the operation theater but in the mortuary room," Eun-Ho said when he heard Sergeant Choi getting angry.

Hearing all these things, they all became a little disappointed, but a good image of this man was formed in their minds by his deeds.

"You were with us the whole time, so how did you know all these things?" Sergeant Choi asked suspiciously.

Chief Lee, Detective Kim, and the other officers who were present also looked at him.

"When Sergeant Choi and I went to the CCTV room, I overheard the nurses talking there. Then I asked them and told them that those nurses were there and I wanted to tell all of you about this, but I forgot about it when we were getting the CCTV footage," Eun-Ho answered when he was questioned.

Then Sergeant Choi was going to ask him something again, but Chief Lee interrupted him and asked his question.

"Then, do you have the parking lot CCTV footage?" Chief Lee asked simply.

"Yes, sir," Sergeant Choi affirmatively said.

"Then why did you not show us the parking lot footage until now?" Detective Kim shouted at him when he heard his answer affirmatively.

"Oh, sorry, sir. I wanted to tell you as soon as I came, but due to all these things, I forgot about it," Sergeant Choi said to him and showed the photo and video to him.

"So, did the camera catch the car plate number or anything related to the car that we can use to get the person's details?" Chief asked him when Sergeant Choi was preparing to show him the image.
