Problematic Idol

when I saw someone emerging from the dark corner of the library I have screamed with fear, that figure started approaching me, I screamed more and more, then someone held my hand scaring the living lights out of me.

"Hey it's me Christopher...calm down," he said then I opened my eyes slowly and saw Mr.Stone, I got relieved after knowing that it was not any ghost and hugged him with fear, I didn't realize what I was doing in my nervous state, a few seconds later Mr.Stone cleared his throat bringing me back to my senses.

I immediately left him and looked at him, he stepped a little closer and looked into my eyes, when I looked into his eyes, I didn't know why but it suddenly reminded me of the mysterious stranger who saved me from the accident earlier, Mr.stone leaned closer making me more nervous, I didn't know why but I ran away from him.

I have closed the door of my room and released a sigh of relief, what was that?? was he trying to...no no not at all, I was imagining things in my nervous state I guess, or was he really trying to kiss me?? wait..why would he do that?? anyways I should really stay away from Mr.Stone I thought and went to take take a shower.

I wore a white t-shirt with small sparkling stars print on it and black leggings, I went to the kitchen to cook dinner for Mr.Stone, I have prepared some vegetable soup and noodles, I have arranged them on the dining table and went upstairs to call him for dinner.

I have approached his door and knocked softly, he didn't answer, I knocked a little louder this time, he opened the door with so much force that I almost got a heart attack, when I looked at him he was wearing nothing but a towel, I immediately lowered my head and closed my eyes,"I...I am sorry sir, dinner is ready" i said nervousy.

I tried to run away but he held my hand and grabbed me towards him almost hugging me, I noticed that my hands were on his chest, I immediately lowered my head and tried to get my hand out of his grip, he tightened his grip more and grabbed me more closer to him.

His other hand was around my waist, I have never hugged a half-naked man and I have never in my dreams thought that I would hug my idol in this way, my heartbeat increased and I felt butterflies in my stomach, again I tried to get away from his grip but he didn't let me go and said:" Am I that scary?? huhh?? "

"Sir..ple..please let go of my hand," I said still looking down, he still didn't leave my hand, and lifted my chin with his finger making me look into his eyes, I couldn't help myself but look into his deep brown eyes when he held me like that I felt something in my heart which I have never felt in my life.

But he left me all of a sudden and turned to the other side and said"do not come upstairs next time, I will be there in 10 minutes" with that he went inside leaving me all flustered and closed the door, I couldn't move from the spot for a few seconds, what's happening to me?? why am I reacting like this?? I should not have come upstairs i thought.

I went downstairs and served food for both of us, Mr. Stone came downstairs after a few minutes and sat down and gestured me to sit, since I was really hungry I immediately sat down and started eating.

"About what happened earlier..." Mr.Stone started saying something but I didn't wanna talk about it so I have interrupted him and said "whatever happened in your office yesterday was my mistake, I am really sorry for interfering in your life, I promise you that I would never do that again"

I didn't know if he was talking about what happened in front of his room earlier or something else but I was not ready to have the conversation of him hugging me or trying to kiss me, so I have changed the topic.

He sighed and nodded his head, he ate without saying anything and left, I have cleaned the dishes and went to my room, whatever happened today is pure madness I should really forget this day and concentrate on my project I thought and went to sleep.

I woke up to my alarm ringing and felt a little pain in my shoulder but i ignored it and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for Mr.Stone, by the time I have finished preparing his breakfast he entered the kitchen in his workout attire and took a water bottle from the fridge.

"umm..would you like some coffee or juice" I have asked him, according to the diet chart he should drink juice or protein shake but he has been drinking my coffee since the first day I have joined his team, so I just wanted to make sure but he didn't say anything and went upstairs.

Now, what did I do?? why is he angry with me now?? huhh...I can never understand his mood swings i thought and cleaned the kitchen .I went to my room and wore jeans and a blue t-shirt, I tied my hair into a ponytail and took the backpack.when i went outside, my scooty was not there then i remembered leaving it at the research center.

I saw Mr.stone starting his jeep I immediately ran to him "sir...sir can you please take me to the research center today?? " I have asked him hopefully, he didn't say anything for a few seconds and nodded, I smiled happily and sat beside him.

"Thank you, sir...I was really scared you know because I had to walk if not for you, how can I forget my about my vehicle ?? you know my dad never allowed me to drive, I am really grateful to you for letting me drive your vehicle..." I was about to continue my conversation but he suddenly stopped the jeep and said"if you don't stop talking you will have to walk from here"

I gestured like I zipped my mouth shut and sat silently, he sighed and started the ignition, while we were on our way I saw a field full of deers, "wow...sir did you see that, they were so beautiful" I said and immediately closed my mouth remembering his warning earlier, he chuckled a little and opened the dashboard.

He took a chocolate bar and threw it on my lap, Is it for me ?? or does he want me to open the wrapper for him?? I guess it's the later, huhh..I can understand him asking me to cook and clean for him but how can he ask me to feed him?? I opened the wrapper and held it to him, he turned his face towards me, I couldn't understand his expression since he was wearing glasses, so I gestured him to eat, he took a bite.

"Today we are going on a field trip for sample collection, so I hope you brought your brain today to catch up with the team," he said and leaned towards me for another bite, I held the chocolate for him again and nodded my head.

huhh..again he started ordering around, can't believe I have worshipped this cold hearted giant for so many years, cold-hearted heroes in stories and tv series sounds good but in reality it's like hell to put up with such people, I took a few bites from his chocolate thinking all this and later realized i ate his choclate and slowly looked at him with fear.

I gulped the bite I took and looked at him nervously, will he throw me out of the vehicle now?? god...why can't I see his expression?? all of a sudden he took the chocolate from me and ate the last bite, what the hell?? I thought he would throw a fit for eating his food.

A few minutes later, we have reached the research center and I immediately got off his vehicle and checked the surroundings, I don't want caroline to see me getting out of his vehicle and misunderstand me again, I really don't know their relationship but I can see that caroline likes him a lot and I don't wanna get into fights with her, I just want to concentrate on my project and finish it peacefully.

I saw Mr.Stone staring at me like I am some maniac, he raised his brow in a questioning manner but I shook my head giving him a fake smile, and started walking away from him, he held my backpack and stopped me, I slowly turned towards him"you are my assistant so walk with me, I am not paying you to wander around" he said walking towards the entrance in his usual pace and I ran behind him to catch up with his pace.

while we were walking in the corridor I saw caroline standing there and looking angrily at me if looks could kill someone I would die at this instant, I smiled awkwardly and followed Mr.Stone,huhh..my idol will surely get me into problems.

when we entered his office I have noticed that there was new furniture , Mr.stone stared at the new furniture and looked like he was thinking deeply, then he obsereved my wounded arm looking sad, so i smiled at him and said"my wound is almost healed Mr.Stone, I don't feel pain anymore"

He stared into my eyes for a few seconds and went to his desk, "Get me some black coffee without sugar" he said opening his laptop and started typing something, I nodded and left his office and went to the pantry to make his coffee.

"I guess my sister was right about you I mean not all the bullshit she spoke on the phone for an hour but about your beauty," someone said from behind while I was preparing Mr.Stone's coffee and I turned to see a handsome guy with the same red hair as Caroline.

"Hi...I am Stephen King, Christopher's best friend and partner" he said extending his hand towards me.

So he is caroline's brother??
