The distinctive sound of the bell signalled a presence in the bakery.

"How may we help-" Vivian's gaze was met with the supposed customer, her features warmed immediately.

"Same old greeting everytime, do I look like a customer to you?" Allen laughed. "When would I get the welcome back greeting?"

"Uncle Allen!" Eleanor squealed as she ran towards him for a hug, her little arms wrapping around his legs.

"Don't you get a day off?" Allen laughed, pulling on her cheeks as she looked up at him with her mystical blue eyes, she puffed her cheeks at being treated like a baby.

"Do you get a day off from eating?" Vivian retorted, shaking her head and smiling at her own reply.

"It's not everyday one needs to eat, a simple cup of water could suffice." Allen grinned, knowing fully well he couldn't do what he said.

"Well if you aren't buying anything, please." Vivian pointed out the door, her smile betraying her motives, "Out the door, sir." She joked.
