Author Review - Yes this story is part of a series This is the first book, but the second book Queen Lyn was written first. Prequel: Princess Lyn : Queen Lyn Sequel: Empress Lyn The story flow won't be disrupted even if you read Queen Lyn first due to the 'flashbacks' β’ Plan --> 300-600 Chapters (depends) β’ Starting from Chapter 35 of Queen Lyn: Clash of Kingdoms, I'll try to mirror the chapters from here. So reading them both at the same time helps. β’ Writing Quality: I'm not a very good writer, though my writing style has developed since Dream star beginning chapters. I still have a lot to improve on, just message me on the comments section if I make any mistakes. Or head over to the official discord channel. https://discord.gg/9Cwt9Jz
Going to give the author five stars, I know writing quality can be improved. But in contrast to her first story she's gotten so much better π extra star for her efforts. Normally I break down my reviews, but since there's not a lot of chapters.. - If you've read QLCK you'll notice the contrast between the Lyn from when she's 22 and the present time frame for Princess Lyn when she's sixteen. Here we get a glim**e of the vague mysteries surrounding Lyn from Queen Lyn. Actually reading them alongside each other is quite fun, since you can connect the pieces. - The ML, on the other story he hasn't shown up yet. So I'm glad to see him at last. As usual the author does a great job describing her characters thoughts and feelings. - World Background: Only advice is to do it in small chunks, no need to rush. - This story has the potential to get into top rankings if the author maintains a balanced pace.
I truly enjoyed reading such a relaxing story with an overall wonderful flow and character design. I have yet to check out any of your earlier work but you certainly have my interest, I look forward to seeing this story develop. You are a good writer with an eye for tempo and writing rhythm which results in quality work with a very fluent storyline; well done, I applaud you. I hope you keep writing and pamper us with chapters. Have fun!
Writing: Going to give this 5 stars, while there are areas that can be approved upon. Unlike the first time I read this authors works, she has improved considerably. Plot, Character, very good. The pacing is neither too slow nor too fast. I can tell there's a solid plot and direction in where the story is going. For the characters introduced, right now the ones with most character development other than Lyn and Kazuya are Rhys. World Background, gradually being added in. Not too much that it overwhelms you. Update stability, simply amazing. Can't wait to read more.
Finally have time to read this prequel. First of all, I want to point out how distinctively different this is from the other book Queen Lyn Clash Of Kingdoms. Both use the fantasy and romance them. But Queen Lyn focuses more on the politics and conflict. There's traces of that in Princess Lyn, but mixed in with the romance focus of Lyn and Kazuya (glad to see this mysterious ML at last). The background content regarding the Kingdoms and power system is explained a lot more here too. So all the gaps are filled in. Reading them alongside each other is fun, but if you want to get the sufficient information regarding Kingdoms. I'd start here.

Unlike the others other story Queen Lyn 'clash of kingdoms.' This story focuses heavily on the romance side than the sovereign politics and battles. Reading them alongside each other, I find the gaps of knowledge from each one being filled. The authors writing style is developing. She's improved a lot from the beginning stages of her first novel, and I wish her the best with these stories.
β Writing Quality: Keeps getting better and better. Glad to see the author improving so much in such a short amount of time, shows she's paying attention to peoples advice. βUpdates: Strangely stable for someone who has three stories. β Character Development: The authors strong point. (Queen Orthez is interesting) βWorld Background: Getting a lot better. Glad to see gradual explanations in the chapters. β Story Development: Focusing more on the romance side and yet building up suspense on the actual plot. Wonder who the real enemy is for this story, is it the Sound Kingdom or is it somebody else?
Pretty good ........................................................... ...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
The first installment of the series, the prequel to Queen Lyn. I'm glad the author took on my suggestion to write this story and Queen Lyn at the same time. The areas I was confused on in Queen Lyn are cleared up after reading Princess Lyn. There's more world content here in Princess Lyn, making up for the lack of explanation in Queen Lyn. I hope the author utilizes world info in her other book, and continue developing the characters well for this one. Overall, I recommend this story for anyone interested in fantasy romance.
A job well done to the author. I truly enjoy this novel. The beginning may seem slow paced to some people, but I believe it was just right. The main characters are slowly being introduced and the beginning half, we each get perspectives/background stories on each character(respective arcs). The plot is very intriguing, more and more mysteries pop up each time but nothing goes unexplained. The authors writing style too, gets better and better. Looking forward to seeing how things evolve between Princess Lyn and Kazuya.
