28 Chapter 28: Goblin Boss

Caizher killed every monster that he encountered for almost a whole night. He gave himself some time to recover from his peak again for the continuation in the next day

The base's management plan was to rendezvous at where the door is erected. After another day of the killing, the humans already finished cleaning the surrounding area with the cost of a lot of lives

But to enter the dungeon that will give humans the ability to survive, humans need to kill all the monsters even if it will cost tons of lives!

For every door that was cleared, it will mean a safer place for their race!

As of now, there are only about two thousand humans from the original 3,000. It means that one-third of them dies and more will die in this final battle

In front of the door, a goblin taller than the other of its kind can be seen. The goblin is quite muscular and it is even taller than humans, it was around three meters tall. The humans don't even know if it should be called as a goblin due to its size

The goblin was holding a heavy sword in its hand. Around the big goblin are all sorts of monsters numbering more than a thousand

There are the normal, mage, ranger type goblins, and even the wolves and worms. In the sky, the strange flying creatures blocked the sunlight using their bodies

There was no negotiation that was made and the two parties immediately charged at each other

Caizher turned his focus on the flying types, those monsters pose more threat to humans. There are humans that focus on close-range skills and they cannot deal with these flying ones

Caizher threw his daggers in the sky but attached his darkness to it. As the war is ongoing and chaos was everywhere, almost all attacks will hit the enemies without fail

The daggers penetrated the body of their target and Caizher controlled the darkness attached to his daggers to control the daggers in mid-air

Instead of falling due to the gravity, the darkness controls the daggers and slashed the other flying types

"YAAAHHH!! DIE!!!" Caizher heard a familiar voice shouting amidst the noisy war and saw an unbelievable scene

Around the little girl, Candice that made Caizher's weapons were small pieces of metals. If it's just that, although Caizher will be taken aback but he won't be so shock

However, the metals around the little girl were lit up with fire and she used it to also kill the flying creatures

After shooting her attacks, she will immediately form more small sharp metals and also covered it with fire. Her firepower is astonishing and her metal sometimes managed to hit the ones behind her enemies

"Dual ability!" Caizher exclaimed in shock. There are few humans that can use two abilities and not all of them are overpowered. Some can use fire and water but doesn't mean that it will have stronger attacking power

It just means that you can use two elements and nothing more. But this little girl Candice was so fierce! She infused fire energies with the metal she made, it caused her firepower to be much more powerful

Caizher moved around in the messy battlefields. It might already be a year since the apocalypse but it doesn't mean everyone will have a soldier like training

Not everyone decided to be integrated with the base as they don't want to lose their freedom. Although they banded together with the base but that is only because they want to survive! Thus, humans don't have much teamwork and fought their own battles

Caizher reached the side of the little girl and greeted her "Yo!" Caizher shouted so that the little girl will hear him

Candice looked at her side and saw Caizher and nodded her head. "You surprised?" Candice asked with a smirk and Caizher nodded his head while chuckling a bit

This Candice is so short and looks like a kid but has this kind of ability, how can Caizher not be shocked?

"Yup, never thought you will be this strong!"

Sheena was also present in the scene and froze an enemy angrily before scolding Caizher. "Move your arms not your mouth, you pedophile!!"

Caizher rolled his eyes for suddenly being called a pedophile. He was just greeting an acquaintance but now, he was labeled as a pedophile

Caizher decided to ignore Sheena and moved a bit far from the two. As expected, this made Sheena look hatefully at Caizher

The man continued his non-stop assault on the flying creatures before a loud sound entered everyone's ears

When they looked at where the sound came from, the humans saw their kind running and shouting in fear

The strong looking goblin made its move! A mere wave of its sword created a wide crescent fire that killed the humans on its way

Caizher's eyes lit up when he saw this. The flying creatures he was killing before suddenly become 'boring for him'

With a crazed smile, Caizher ignored his former enemies and charged at the strong goblin

"W-wait Caizher!" Sheena tried to stop him but the man won't comply

Caizher put back his daggers on his side and picked a sword from the ground that came from one of the dead humans

The sword glowed with a dark light and Caizher greeted the goblin with a sword slash

The goblin opened its mouth and roared before using its big sword to destroy Caizher's sword slash easily

The goblin's body is quite large and it also has such a heavy sword that is why Caizher decided to use a sword too

The humans around the strong goblin witnessed how powerful it was before and didn't dare get close to it. A strong enemy isn't that much scary, but an enemy that can kill multiple enemies easily in one strike is extremely terrifying

The goblin charged at the 'human' that provoke it causing the other humans to move far away. However, their fear of the strong goblin just gave the flying creatures a chance, and a lot of them were killed

Caizher coated his sword with mana and his sword clashed with the goblin's sword. The impact returned his arm into a fog-like state and even cut his shoulder

The ones that recognized Caizher were terrified by this scene. Caizher is the man that almost killed Bruce yet he was 'killed' with a single exchanged

"Caizher!!" Sheena shouted in panic and run to the man. However, to everyone's surprise, Caizher moved away from the goblin. His 'severed' shoulder reconnected as if nothing happened

Caizher controlled his darkness and retrieved his sword before looking at the goblin excitedly

Instead of fearing it, Caizher just looked forward to defeating it!

Caizher returned his body into its fog-like state before he turned into a mini black titan. The sword suddenly becomes small to him but decided to still use it. Without the sword, it would be easier for the goblin to slash his body

The jaws of the humans around dropped as they saw Caizher turning into a monster of the same height as the tall goblin

With the sword in his hand, Caizher charged at the goblin once again. The goblin won't let itself be defeated and also did the same

Caizher coated his sword with mana and it clashed with the goblin. However, his strength is still inferior and the impact returned his arm into a fog-like state again

But Caizher is not limited to his sword! He turned his other arm into a sharp shape weapon and attacked the goblin with it. However, the goblin also used its other arm to blocked

Caizher smirked on his mind as he currently does not have a face and from his side, a sharp tentacle emerged to attack the goblin

The goblin isn't that idiotic though, and decided to move its body to dodge. However, with some difficulty, Caizher managed to give it a very small wound that almost didn't even bleed

Caizher was shocked at the durability of this goblin's defense but it just made him more excited

"[Darkness Style: Paralysis Curse!]" Caizher shouted and a black skull tattoo appeared on the goblin's body

However, the paralysis effect on it was minimal

"One more time!" Caizher shouted while his fighting spirit was being pumped up

If one curse will not work then how about two or ten of it?

Caizher did the same tactic to use the sword on his right then a sharp hand on the left and finally a sharp tentacle from his side to wound the goblin

Unfortunately, when Caizher was about to give the goblin another small injury, he saw all sorts of attacks directed at him

The goblin mages, and flying creatures attacked him with mana attacks causing Caizher to fail. The man was forced to sink his body on the ground but as the attacks were too numerous, a lot of it still managed to hit him and made his body smaller

"Protect the boss!!" Kennedy shouted and punched a goblin with his metallic hand

The humans shouted like a barbarian and threw frenzied attacks on the other enemies. As the monsters are too 'devious' to interfere with a fight between two 'bosses' the humans will naturally do the same!

As they fear the goblin boss, only the long-range attackers attacked the goblin. The goblin slashed its sword to defend but some still landed on its body. The effect of a single attack wasn't able to heavily injure it but it made up for its quantity!

The monsters also won't let the humans kill their boss and the two sides clashed with frenzied attacks

Caizher reappeared on the ground and this time, he's in a different shape. Caizher has a quadrupedal monster form now and he pounced at the goblin boss

In this form, Caizher was able to make himself faster as he used more of his darkness on his legs to give it more power

With his new speed, Caizher used his claw and left four wounds on the goblin boss. Caizher also condensed more of his darkness on his claws for higher attack power and it worked

The four wounds this time are deeper than the first one he made

"[Darkness Style: Paralysis Curse!]" Four more curse tattoo appeared on the goblin boss that made its speed and power significantly lower

Caizher was about to attack it again but he was forced to dodge by sinking his body on the ground one more. In this form, he is longer but shorter, fewer attacks landed on his body

Although the humans are trying to hold the monsters back, but there's bound to be some that would still be able to attack. The same was true for the humans as some of their attacks will land on the goblin boss

Caizher used a small piece of darkness to see above ground and he traveled to reach the area below the goblin

However, the goblin noticed him. Its sword was covered with fiery fire and he smashed it on the ground

Caizher was forced to head deeper on the ground and moved a bit farther away. When he finally emerged a piece of him from the ground, he found that he's around ten meters away from the goblin boss and on top of him was a wolf

Caizher condensed a sharp tentacle and impaled the wolf with it. The wolves' weakness was their abdomen as the fur and flesh there are softer than the other parts of their body

After killing the wolf, Caizher slowly inched closer to the goblin boss. But this time, he didn't dare get too close

When he's a few meters away from the goblin, he made five sharp tentacles. This is his newfound tactic to bully the enemies

Sink his body on the ground and attacked his enemies from below. This is an effective way to bully the enemy, what kind of strength was needed to destroy the ground? Humans still don't have that kind of power to do it easily

However, although this tactic is good but it still depends on the enemies. The goblin boss' senses were quite sharp and used its sword to destroy Caizher's darkness tentacles

The tentacles were cut and dissipated into black fogs before Caizher controlled them to sink on the ground again

Seems like dealing with this goblin boss would still be trickier
