31 Showdown at the Square pt. 1

Thirteen caught up to her at the Merry and she was standing at the deck, looking at the bunny shorts in her hand. He walked next to her and looked at the shorts. She turned to him and said "I think you should change."

He tilted his head in confusion and she continued "I'm sorry." he blinked and asked "Why?" she smiled and replied "Because I shouldn't have tried to cover you up. Though it makes things easier, it also means that you have to pretend to be just like everyone else…"

She handed him the shorts and smiled, adding "Wear these…" Thirteen reached out and she pulled her hand back before saying "But you have to protect us and yourself. No self-sacrificing for the greater good, okay?"

Thirteen looked into her eyes as she put on a stern look, he slowly nodded and she handed him the shorts, easing into a smile and humming to herself as she brought the bag away, adding "I'm putting these in your room."

Thirteen watched her go before looking at the shorts and clutching them in his hand. He walked to his backpack and was about to follow her when he heard an explosion. He snapped his head to the side and saw the masked men running in the sky to the middle of the island.

Thirteen dropped his bag and left the high heels before shooting off after them, leaving Nami to run out and catch his silhouette flying away. She said "Fuck!" and started working on the ship as Usopp came running back, shouting "Bad! Really bad!"

Meanwhile in the Execution platform square, Luffy chuckled as he stood on the ground. Zoro and Sanji looked around at all the marines. Sanji said "Who are the Masked guys?" Zoro readied his new swords and said "Does it matter?" Sanji lit a cigarette and said "I guess not."

The masked men were standing around looking at the trio when a man with white hair and 2 cigars in his mouth walked over, saying "You're the higher ups? Not gonna do anything, are you?"

The leading Masked man replied "We don't interfere with Marine matters. Our target isn't here, therefore we will only watch." the man snorted and said "That's government dogs for you." before spitting on the ground and walking away.

The masked man looked at the spit and said nothing for a moment before saying "Surround the square, we can at least 'help' our co-worker." The Marine man smirked as the Masked men circled the trio along with the marines.

The Marine walked out and said "You're under arrest, Straw Hat!" Luffy looked over and said "Eh? Smokey?" the man shouted "It's Smoker!" Luffy just chuckled and got ready to fight, as did Zoro and Sanji before they all shot off into a crowd of marines.

Thirteen was running as fast as he could, blowing by civilians. They said "Woah!" and Thirteen ignored them. His ponytail came undone and his hair flapped in the wind as he approached the square.

As he got closer, he saw marines flying around and getting beaten up, but he also saw the masked men, finally moving closer.

He ran up and his foot hardened, smashing against the ground as he jumped over the encirclement.

The marines and Masked men turned to Thirteen, who landed in the middle of the encirclement, kicking up a bunch of dust.

Thirteen stood up and the marines said "Who's the woman?" "She's pretty." Smoker looked at the 'woman' with narrowed eyes, grabbing his Jutte, while the Masked men looked at Thirteen silently.

Luffy grinned and Thirteen pulled Nojiko's ribbon from his head, letting his ears pop out. The surrounding crowd gasped and the masked men looked at each other, while the marines clamored "She has cat ears?!"

Thirteen looked at the masked men and said "Which CP group are you?" The masked men tensed up and the square went silent as Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji looked at Thirteen before narrowing their eyes at the encirclement.

The leading masked man said "5." Thirteen stayed silent as he ripped the dress off his body, revealing nothing but shorts underneath along with all his scars and brand. Smoker stared at him silently, relaxing the hand on his Jutte.

Thirteen looked at the masked man and said "At least it's not 0." before shooting off and unfurling his chains, jumping at the leading masked man. He spread his arms out, slashing at both his sides as he hardened his arms and punched at the leading masked man.

The man stood still and Thirteen's punch hit him in the stomach. The man looked at him and said "You won't escape again, Slave. Do not resist." Thirteen said nothing and looked around as the masked CP agents circled him, forgetting about the other three.

Thirteen looked at the man and flicked his tail before backflipping over an agent, who 'teleported' behind him with a finger piercing where he just was. Thirteen landed on the agent's back and wrapped his chains around his neck before jumping off and pulling.

The agent flew with Thirteen and smashed into the ground as the others simply moved to the side. Thirteen side stepped but the other agents all attacked him at once, some swung their legs, shooting air blades, while others blocked Thirteen without moving.

The leader didn't move and only watched as Thirteen twisted his body, dodging most of the wind blades. He got cut by a few of them even with his hardened body and another agent grabbed his arm, locking him in place.

The leader walked over and Thirteen kicked at him, only for the man to bend strangely and barely dodge it. He looked at Thirteen and kicked him in the stomach, sending him and the agent holding him flying into a building.

Thirteen got loose from the agent on the ground and spat out blood before standing up and looking at the leading man, who suddenly appeared in front of him and grabbed his face, smashing him into the building headfirst.

The leading man looked at Thirteen as Zoro, Sanji, and Luffy appeared behind him, slashing, kicking, and punching at his head.

The leading man spun around and jumped away, jumping on the air and landing behind him, kicking at Sanji's head. Thirteen appeared in front of Sanji and grabbed the man's foot, smashing him into the ground and kicking him in the face, sending him flying.

Sanji grinned and said "Thanks!" Thirteen said nothing and grabbed the three of them, throwing them through the air and out of the square before swinging his chains at the marines, killing them.

The three flew through the air and Liffy shouted "Thirteen!" Zoro stayed silent and Sanji seethed "Bastard!" Zoro grabbed the two and landed on his feet before running away to the Merry as Luffy and Sanji yelled at him in complete rage "What are you doing?!"

Zoro said simply "We'll just be a distraction, he obviously wants us to leave." Luffy failed around and shouted "You can't just leave him like that!? How is he supposed to win?!" Zoro said quietly "Right now, we don't have a choice." Sanji grinded his teeth and started quiet, while Luffy continued screaming.

Before they could escape to the Merry, Smoker stood in their way. Zoro stopped and Luffy got down, looking at Smoker and saying "After I kick you ass, I'm going back." Smoker grabbed his Jutte and said "In chains, Pirate."

Thirteen started an absolute slaughter on marines and forced them to attack him as he directed his attention to the CP5 agents.
