Chapter 15: pretending to be scared
" I'm fine" I whisper
" I'm going outside to carry out my alpha duties. Do you want to come with me? " He asked and I think it's a nice idea. I can just scan my eyes through the pack and see how it looks like. After all I haven't step my foot outside since I was brought into the pack.
" Sure" I reply and got down from the bed.
" Let's go" Lucas said holding my hand and push his hand away.
" I can walk myself" I said and he surrender by raising his hands in the air. We walked out of the room and I get to see how the pack looks like. Truth be told, I have never been to a werewolf pack before. This place looks beautiful and calm. Unlike the human world filled with noise and pollution. I follow Lucas wherever he goes to and I find the stares and whispers on every corner akward. I really don't like being the center of attention and I really don't like the stares those ladies are giving me.
" So werewolves whisper among themselves when they see a new face too?" I asked mockingly to see Lucas reaction. All this while he has been quite and wearing a serious face.
" Are they not mortals like you?" He asked back and I gulp.
" Where are we going to?" I asked Changing the topic. To the pack club house. " Lucas said and I wonder what he is going to do there. I don't need so much attention, I will just go back even if I'm curious about how the club looks like.
" I will just go back" I said stopping on my tracks and he stopped too.
" Why?" Lucas asked with a straight face. Why did he look so cold today? I really don't like this side of him.
" I don't like attention. I don't want everybody to start staring at me" I said truthfully and actually I can also use this opportunity to get out of his sight and plan my escape. Maybe I can just look for that cute little girl Hera.
" Are you planning to escape?" He asked and I remain quite. Saying another word will reveal my intentions. how did he even know I'm thinking of escaping? Did he really plan to keep me here forever?
" Don't even think of escaping because that's the last thing you will achieve here. " Lucas said and put his hands in his pant pocket.
What did he mean by it will be the last thing I will achieve here. Either he likes it or not I will achieve my escape.
" Do you really think you can escape through the woods? You don't even have any fighting skills so how did you plan to fight the strange beings in the wood?" He asked and fear suddenly engulf me. Strange beings like the ones in movies? Gosh those beings are very scary. So they really exist. What if he is lying just to make me scare and drop my intention of escaping? He is smart tho but immature to think I will fall for his tricks and lies.
" Strange beings? Like the ones in the movie?" I asked pretending to be scared
" Yes, like the ones in horror movies with long nails that dig into the skin deeply and scary face" he said and I imagine the strange beings digging their long nails on someone skill and the scene is so scary. It's just an illusion, I don't have to believe everything he says. He is just trying to create fear and panic on my mind.
" They really look so scary" I said pretending to be very scared.
" Don't worry you are safe here in the pack as long you don't leave the pack" Lucas said and Pat my hair like someone patting his kitty head.
" Do you want to take a rest?" He asked and I nodded. Even if I wanted to find Hera, I think my body needs rest because of my condition before I pass out. As a medical doctor I know what pregnant women should do and what they should not do.
Lucas held my left hand and we walked back to his room. We walked into the room and I walk towards the bed to lye down while he pull his upper shirt and lye down on the couch. I climbed on the bed and look at his hairy chest and we'll defined abs. Gosh why did he have to look so hot is he trying to seduce me or what?
" Can you please put your shirt on back? I requested. Mere looking at his upper body make me arouse expecially when I trace the hair on his chest down to his lower part.
" Do you like what you see?" He asked and I blush slightly in embarrassment. Can he just stop asking me if I like what I saw?
" I didn't see anything" I reply turning my face away to look the standing portrait by my right. Five wolves stood in the portrait but the white wolf with dark fur on its head and icy blue eyes caught my attention.. It stood out among all the other wolf like a diamond in midst of stones. It carry an aura of Dominion and superiority over the other wolves and I find myself drooling over the white wolf. Like it really got my attention with his eyes looking deep into mine like reality.
" Stop acting as if you are innocent" Lucas said and I snapped back and turn my head to look at him if he has put his shirt on but instead he drew his pants down a little revealing his red brief.
" Are you trying to seduce me?" I asked when I felt my undies getting wet from the arousal. God really take his time to create him on a special day.
" This is not seduction, do you really think you will be lying on that bed untouched with your clothes still on your body if I really seduce you? By now you should be begging for mercy under me"
