Pre-disposed

Prudy, Kiara and Abbie find each other at California University L.A. They learn to co-exist even with their differences in colour and status. They live life one day after the other and make life decisions on their way. They get caught up in love triangles and find their way out together. They teach the importance of accepting oneself before others can accept you as well as the importance of "all lives matter" instead of "one race's life matters". They make life changing decisions, some bad some good, some, you be their judge.

Abbie's POV

"I did not have much time to dress up." I say and look sympathetically at Berlin who obviously took his time when I just wore a simple blue knee length dress.

"It's okay... You look great." He lies.

I lock up the room and lead the way through the hallways. A black Mercedes is parked and he fake runs to open the door for me and I can't hide my surprise.

"This your...never mind."

"Please," he says holding out his hand signalling me to enter and he walks fast to his side after he closes my door for me.

"Interesting." I say to myself before he slips in and holds the wheel nervously. The car ignites and before I know it, we are off campus grounds.

"You wanna tell me where we're going?"

"A hotel," he says plainly and I pick on my phone not knowing what to say. He turns on the stereo and plays a song by 'twenty one pilots'.

"You listen to those guys?" I ask obviously surprised. "I mean, I love them too but, I did not picture you for the type to, you know..."

"Boring." He says cutting me short and I  almost don't catch the word.

"What?"

"You think I'm boring." He looks at me for the first time giving a tighter grip to the wheel.

"No, I mean, I... Didn't say that." I swallow hard.

"Come to my house today." I try my best to avoid the question and pretend to be busy on my phone until we pull up at the hotel. Or so I thought and I'm saved from answering that question.

"This isn't a hotel. It's a fancy apartment." Shock is evident on my face. "Can I call prudy for a sec?" I say nervously, he nods and I excuse myself from the pavements before my cheap pair of shoes messes the bright perl stone.

Prudy doesn't pick and I call Kiara instead who picks with the second ring.

You need to save me!...

Why, what's going on.. Are you okay?...

He is going to kill me!...

Berlin? No way, he cannot even harm a fly.

He took me to his apartment. Call FBI!...

What is wrong with his appartmet. It's packed. Don't you like it?

That is not my point. I'm still outside and you are not helping! He said we were going to a hotel.

He probably thought the type of hotel he had chosen was too fancy and you'd get bored. Relax. I'm sure his cousin Sally will be thrilled.

Whaat! They are two of them? Just call 911 please I'm not joking and where the hell is Prudy. She didn't pick up!

Probably hooking up with that asian guy, now go!

She hangs up before I can say anything more and I let out a frustrated sigh and move to meet up with Berlin.

"Any problem?"

"No, uuuh, you said we were going to a hotel." I look at him then peel away to avoid his gaze.

"Trust me Abbie. I'd never do anything you don't approve. I'm sure Sally is home so you don't have to worry that it's just the two of us." He walks inside to a receptionist who smiles kindly at him. I follow him into an elevator and keep as much distance. I don't want him to get the idea that he could kiss me in an elevator. You know like '50 shades of grey' or Satton and Richard in 'The bold type'. He gives me a reassuring smile as we come to a halt in the 5th floor and the door opens letting us out.

Great, another stranger is supposed to make me feel better. How would Sally be like? Is he as calm? Is he kind like Berlin? Does he have black hair or brown? Is he...

My thoughts are interupted by Berlin calling me inside. I didn't even realise that he left me out. Inside is fancy. Nothing like any house I've been in. It has white tiles and a high sky blue ceiling. The bulbs are well arranged in the corners and a parten forms at the center. There are paintings on the wall and I get a glimpse of a guitar lying carelessly on a cream white couch.

Who plays guitar. Is it him or Sally. Guess I'm about to find out.

"Make yourself comfortable." Berlin announces from the kitchen probably realizing I'm so lost in the house and I walk over to the black couch. I take my time seating like I was going to tear the expensive fabric if I wasn't careful.

"So, what do you like to eat?"

"I'd rather we watch a movie and eat popcorn." I smile trying to ease the tention.

"Anything for my guest." He smiles softly.

"Are you sure your cousin is home? If it were me I'd be out investigating the invader." I shout after him when he leaves for the kitchen.

"Yea, he just values his personal space a little too much." I can hear him giggle slightly.

"Oh." I did not know what to say so I stick with my short answer and I engage myself with the flat screen 62 inch Samsung tv. I manage to find the famous 'KISSING BOOTH'.

"I wonder why girls like bad boys nowadays I'd definately prefer a more polite and someone I do not have to be insecure about everytime I see them with anyone." I stuff a handfull of popcorn and I can't help it but talk the script out.

"This is really your thing isn't it." Berlin chuckles and I dont feel so uncomfortable. Not until I hear a voice behind me.

"I didn't know people do that." I almost jump out of my skin at the familiarity of the voice.

"Sally!" Berlin trys to warn him as he switches on the lights to reveal me squeezed in a corner on the couch holding popcorn. My mouth opens slightly as I look at both of them, still not coming into terms with the sight. How could it be. There is no way this is happening. God, how could you! I look at Berlin.

"Is this..."
