Chapter 76 : Kill Switch

Kedarah says, "This is really really really really bad."

Chaos replied, "Everything about this is bad. Has anyone seen Hanako by the way?"

Xenon answered Chaos, "She's taking down some of Kin's followers with Sith."

"Shit."

"If you lose control again, we'll help you. We can't calm you like Hanako, but we'll try at least."

"Yeah. I just keep thinking about the time I almost lost control against that prophet of Harvest at the abandoned church. I'm the embodiment of chaos. You know I wasn't born human, but I'm the manifestation of the idea of chaos."

Tetsuya said to Chaos, "We know. Don't think about it too much. We need to stay focused. We need to get rid of these nuisances that are around us, save civilians, and find Kin."

"R-Right.."

Xenon said, "Welp. What the hell are we waiting on? Let's rock it."

Xenon jumped off the building, as Kedarah, Chaos, and Tetsuya jumped off at the same time off different sides of the building.

Xenon slashed downward through all of the enemies with his ax, keeping a straight face the whole time as he was spinning his ax around his body and head.

Xenon's head was chopped off by an enemy, but his head grew back, and Xenon smirked.

He grabbed the enemies head, slammed his knee against his face, grabbed his throat, did a 360 turn, and threw the enemy into a lump of other enemies, blasting them all away loudly.

Chaos was forming multiple pink and purple orbs in front of him, punching and kicking all of them towards the enemies, blowing them up and making them crash all over the ground and buildings.

Chaos flew downward some more, grabbed two enemies heads, and slammed them against each other.

Kedarah had semi invincible stuffed animals coming into existence, pounding on all the enemies around her, even taking them and dragging them somewhere else to beat them to death.

Kedarah raised her leg high, she waved it around once, and there were flowers forming on her leg.

Kedarah smiled, "Byee!"

She kicked the enemies one by one by teleporting all over the place. Her kicks sent the enemies flying with poison flowers stuck to them, turning their veins green and black.

Tetsuya was already standing on the ground, walking forward.

"Hm?"

There were muscular enemies jumping from falling building to falling building, exclaiming with a grin:

"Look! There's a Host right there!"

"He can send people's powers back to them, but can he fight?!"

Tetsuya thinks, 'Good grief. More goons.'

The enemies dropped near Tetsuya, and they started to perform martial arts attacks, performing specialized jabs and twisting tiger kicks.

Tetsuya was dodging them with his hands behind his back, saying, "This is absolutely pointless."

An enemy responded, "Don't fuck with us!"

"I'm..not? And by the looks of it, it seems like you fools are fucking with me. Excuse my language."

All the enemies threw a punch at Tetsuya, and in a split second, Tetsuya pointed at all the fists, then teleported away on top of a nearby building, watching the enemies.

The enemies all punched themselves in the face, knocking themselves through buildings.

Two people landed behind Tetsuya, and those people were Sith and Hanako.

Tetsuya asked, "New information?"

Sith replied, "Keh..keh..my hands are bloody..but the disasters are bloodier. The whole world is like this.."

Hanako nodded, "Yes. What he says is true. And we've gotten more civilians to safety in an energy field. Is Chaos alright?"

Tetsuya responds, "Chaos is fine for now. We need to-."

Out of nowhere, 5 people in dark brown sackcloth hoodies and white kitsune masks zapped up to Tetsuya, Hanako. Sith, Xenon, Chaos, and Kedarah, and they placed their hands on their heads, making them all fall unconscious.

But, Xenon caught the hand of the person trying to knock him out, and Xenon said, "Ah. I recognize this aura. I sense Ferrows influence all over you. Seems like the rogue Titan gave you more power to knock us out, Harvest asshole."

The person gasped, and Xenon swiftly but slowly dashed past him, blasting a hole in the person's chest with his ax.

The people in the kitsune masks were the 5 Centurions from Harvest.

Xenon asked, "Who's next? Is it..you?"

The same Centurion that Xenon attacked, stood back up with his chest healing up, and said, "Impressive. You figured out who we were just by sensing our aura."

"You and all of Harvest share the same Titan power. I can trace shit like that, and I can sense it off someone else within their aura."

A Centurion rushed up to Xenon trying to touch his head, but Xenon cut his own head off with his ax, making the Centurion miss.

The Centurion thought, 'What freak. He cut his own head off to avoid my touch?'

He turned around to Xenon's body, and Xenon's body was dropping to the ground headless.

But on the other side of the Centurion, Xenon's falling head was growing a new body while holding the ax.

Xenon thought, 'Check fucking mate.'

Xenon swung his ax, but the Centurion dodged it, jumping out of the way.

'That was close.'

Xenon thinks, 'These Harvest people..they knocked out the other Hosts, but they didn't kill them while they're knocked out. Why?'

The Centurion read Xenon's mind, replying, "It's not easy to kill you damned Hosts. Even if we try to behead you fools a few times, blow you up, or make you bleed out, you are all tough. You won't go out so easily. So we decided that instead of wasting time, we will deliver you over to Kin."

"Ha! Don't make me laugh, please. You really think I'm just gonna sit up here and let you bastards take me and my team away to Kin? Hell no. These Hosts may be assholes sometimes, but they're my partners."

"Suit yourself. We know you're unkillable, so we'll be putting you to sleep with your team."

"Congrats on that boring monologue. Can we fight now?"

Xenon pressed forward at the Centurion, and the Centurion just stood there.

Dust from the ground started to form in front of him, and they started to form people.

The people were formed, and they looked exactly like Xenon's deceased family.

Xenon stopped with a gasp, "No.."

The family was trying to attack Xenon now, and Xenon was swiftly moving around them.

Xenon kept telling himself, "They aren't real..they aren't real.."

The family said in unison:

"Whyyyy did you survive..and not usss?!"

"No!"

Xenon dodged more of their attacks, and he jumped backwards.

'It isn't real. It isn't real..'

In the blink of an eye, all 5 Centurions dashed towards Xenon trying to touch his head, but Xenon stopped their hands. Xenon had his ax in his mouth, and his hands were holding back the hands of the Centurions.

Xenon said, "Bastards…"

One Centurion teleported away from Xenon, and was falling down on him. His hand was sticking down to touch Xenon's head, and he was close.

The hand got close, but Xenon teleported above that Centurion, and he slammed his ax on all of them, making a large explosion.

The light was shining brightly around them, Xenon was flipping out of it.

Xenon could hear his family's voices, crying out, "Daddy! Honey..where have you been? Dad, behind you!"

Before he could hit the ground, he was grabbed in the face by a Centurion, and the back of his head was slammed into the ground.

Xenon was asleep, and the Centurion said to him, "You've gotten weak. Listening to your family's cries. You should be ashamed of yourself."

The other Centurions came walking up to him, and the Centurion with the girl voice said, "Aww, he packs a punch! That almost got us! But are you sure we should be doing this? HELPING Kin?"

"I'm sure. I already told you all why we should do this. Our time will come."

"Mhm. But back to that attack, if we weren't pumped up with more Titan power, we would've been goners, and we wouldn't have been able to take the Hosts down so fast."

"We only got this far because of the rogue Titan randomly giving us powers. But I can tell he's giving us little bits of power at a time. Too much of his power could destroy us."

(A cave a few miles away)

Yutahime and Zelle were still holding Ren-Ren back, with Ven standing in front of them.

Ven exclaimed, "Come on! I don't wanna go into battle by myself! My dad is down there fighting!"

Yutahime said, "Turn on some Tachibana Mae and go. No one's stopping you."

Zelle added, "Scaredy cat."

Ren-Ren tried breaking free, thinking, 'They're grip is strong..I can't just easily break free. I gotta get out of this. But not by force it seems like. I wanted to be a villain..but not like this.'

Ren-Ren said, "You are all idiots. You wanted to be villains, but you're okay with this woman killing everyone?"

Yutahime replied, "What did you expect? This is how villains operate."

Zelle grinned, "Yeah, cheer up! You've been playing the hero all this time, you just need a little time to get used to the villain's life. When me and Yutahime killed our first people, it felt awesome. And once we kept going with the kills, we got used to it. It shaped us into true villains! Haha!"

Ren-Ren answered, "I DON'T operate like that. I always wanted to be a villain, but not like this. Killing an entire world just to achieve my goals is not what I want. Kin never told us what she was going to do. I knew it would be something weird, but not like this."

Ven turned around to Ren-Ren, "Heh?! You're worried about everything else?! You need to toughen up and come fight with us, bro! And plus my phone is about to die, I won't be able to listen to Tachibana Mae for a while!"

"No one gives a fuck about that!"

"Hah?!!"

Ren-Ren saw a large hurricane in the distance forming from the sky, and he got an idea.

Ren-Ren said to Ven, "Fuck Tachibana Mae. Her singing is terrible. She sings like my dead hamster having a stroke."

Ven replied, "…Take…that back!!!"

"Noooo. My goodness, how could you listen to music like that?"

"I'm gonna end you!"

Ven rushed up to Ren-Ren, punching him in the face, but as soon as his fist made contact, they all vanished, teleporting somewhere else.

Ren-Ren, Ven, Yutahime, and Zelle had teleported above the hurricane Ren-Ren was looking at.

Yutahime, Ven, and Zelle yelled, "AGHHHH!"

They were all holding onto Ren-Ren still, and Ren-Ren had his katana out.

Yutahime yelled, "His katana is out!"

Zelle exclaims, "Kill him!"

Ven answered, "On it!"

The hurricane was spinning them all around and around fast, until it threw them out of the hurricane, launching them towards the city above all the sinking buildings, earthquakes, and floods.

Ren-Ren thought, 'Oh shit..what..this is too much..'

They still hung into Ren-Ren, and Ren spotted a large hole in the ground.

Ren-Ren leaned his head downward and they smashed through the ground, soaring deep underground.

Yutahime, Zelle, and Ven were still screaming, and Zelle asked, "What the hell is he trying to do? Go to the earth's core?!"

Yutahime answered, "He can't be! It's suicidal!"

Ren-Ren replied, "Oh, I know!"

"What?!"

They continued to blast further underground, and seconds later, it was getting super hot, and they had reached earth's core. It was pretty dark, and some fragments of dark orange glow was around.

Ren-Ren said, "I changed my mind. Damn being a villain. Having a taste of what real crazy psychopathic villains do..gave me a rude awakening. I'm better off as an anti-hero."

Zelle asked, "Wait! Wait! Wait!"

Ven exclaimed, "I won't let this happen!"

Ren-Ren spun with his katana five times while still falling down the earth's core, and Yutahime, Zelle, and Ven broke hold of Ren-Ren; mostly because of the heat from the core of the earth, in which the heat made them sweat instantly, making Ren-Ren able to slip out of their grasp.

Ren-Ren teleported out from underground, and he was looking down the hole he flew into.

He landed feet first on the ground, thinking, 'I misled myself all these years..I never thought I'd take the side of a villain who would kill the entire world off to do something crazy. Sure..I've seen my fair share of bad guys doing evil shit..but being on the same side as a villain doing super evil shit..changed me. I felt like..no..I feel like I caused all of this. Deep down I know I'm not the type to kill people off to become a villain. The only way..I can forgive myself..is if I save others.'

Another couple of miles away, Seven was jumping over giant holes in the crowd, sniffing out her parents because of her heightened senses when she's in her Spirit of Wrath form.

'This way!'

Seven jumped over more holes and crashing buildings, and she saw her parents laying on the ground.

But the ground was tilting upwards, with her parents sliding down on it, about to fall underneath the ground.

Seven yelled, "No! Mom! Dad!"

Seven zapped over to their location, flying to them and catching them before they fell. She noticed they were unconscious, and she thought, 'Thank God they're alive..I have to get them somewhere safe..but where? Everything is chaotic..nowhere is safe.'

Seven started to fly through the destitution, she put her parents on her back. She flew to the other civilians that were hurt or wounded, and she picked them up as well. At this point, she was carrying seven people all at once, and she was doing all of that while flying and dodging the destruction around her.

'I need to find somewhere safe for them! I can't keep flying around aimlessly without a plan! All this destruction..all this madness…who is causing all of this? Is it Harvest, the same people who invaded the exams? I can hear battling, is it the prophets? So many questions…'

Seven continued to fly forward, and a few feet away from her, was a tall 90 foot tsunami wave growing in front of her, rising slowly in terror, shooting gushes of wind and water around the area.

Seven looked worried, yelling, "Fuck! Oh oh oh shit! No way!"

The wave was growing taller, and Seven was floating right in front of it.

Seven thought, 'So going around it isn't an option, I can't let this wave go any further. I have to figure out a way to stop this big ass wave. Blasting it away isn't gonna do anything but destroy its form and spread the water all over the place. Think..think..'

Seven gasped, and she looked left and right, looking at the heavy amounts of rubble that was on the ground.

Seven said, "I have to try."

She flew downward with one arm sticking out, and she started to touch all the rubble she could see. She was going around touching all of the rubble, laying her hand on all of it.

She had touched at least 500 big pieces of building rubble, and she flew back up into the air facing the tall tsunami wave.

'Here we go..'

Seven's eyes turned bright purple, and she stretched her hands out. All the rubble she touched started to turn purple, and they began to rise quickly.

She stuck her hands forward, and the rubble started to create a giant wall in front of the wave, stacking up as high as 95 feet tall and 107 feet wide.

The pieces were forming together like building blocks, and Seven used her telekinesis to hold them together.

'Good! Good..but I can't hold it like this forever. It's not stable enough, it's just enough rubble to hold it together. Being a sitting duck in the middle of disaster is always bad, I can't just sit here. What should I do?'

The people Seven was holding were starting to slip, including her parents.

Seven exclaimed, "No, no, no, no, no, please no. Dammit!"

Out of nowhere, here came Kazuma riding on a giant fire lion, with Sensei Kei riding with him.

Kazuma caught Seven's parents by the legs, and Kei caught the others and let them sit on the giant fire lion.

Seven said, "Kazuma! And..Sensei?"

Kazuma waved, "Hi, Seven! This is bad though. All of this is bad. Very bad."

"I know that, Kazuma. And thank you."

Kei said, "Me and Kazuma are here to assist. I can get rid of all that water for you with my cleaning ability, but I'm gonna need your help, Seven. I need you to hold the rubble in place long enough for me to clean all of the water up. It's gonna drain me severely, but it's worth it as this is the only tsunami in this area."

Seven answered, "Thank you. And will do. Do you know where any safe zones are?"

"A few miles out. Kazuma can fly your parents and the civilians to an energy barrier that can hold up everyone."

"That's a relief. Oi, Kazuma, have you run into any of our friends?"

Kazuma answered, "I didn't find Duri or Ren-Ren anywhere; but Nine, Tek, Jiyu, Espen, and Shiryu are chasing down a super giant spirit lady with a violin playing music that's hurting their heads in that area. She's really fast, and Nine can barely keep up with her. We all kinda met up by running into each other."

"Alright. Crap. I got so caught up in everyone else I forgot about this fucking tsunami that I'm struggling to hold back!"

Kei replied, "Don't apologize! Kazuma, take me over the wall so I can dissolve this wave!"

Kazuma answered, "Yokai!"

On the other side of the city, Nine was using her intense speed to chase a 112 foot tall spirit version of Kin holding a violin, and she was playing the violin with an epic tone, smiling with a creepy gesture.

Tek was running on the rooftops, using his chains to connect to other objects, and he launched himself forward by yanking on his chains.

Shiryu had copied Nine's speed ability, and he was running right beside Nine.

Espen was wearing a grey and black armored suit, and Jiyu was wearing the same thing. The suits came from Jiyu by the way, and they could fly at jet speeds in them.

Tek thought, 'That music is messing our heads up..our ears bleeding..and my will to fight is getting lower. We gotta stop this thing. The source of this spirit may be the violin itself. Maybe if we destroy that..then we can get rid of it. I need to get one of my chains to connect to the violin, but I need to catch up first. I need to cut this spirit off. It's a big gamble. I need more speed and force. I need a boost..'

Tek looked down, and he jumped off one of the rooftops, yelling to Nine and Shiryu, "Oi! Throw me to the left of you! Use my chains!"

Nine replied, "You sure about this, Tek?!"

"Just do it!"

Shiryu says, "We should just..do it."

Nine and Shiryu stopped running, and Tek made chains form from his hands, and he shot them at Nine and Shiryu.

Nine and Shiryu caught the chains, they began to run around in a circle going at full speed.

Then they both said at the same time, "Godspeed."

Their speed increased fully with more destructive power, and they slung Tek across the map at full force.

Tek was soaring deeply through the air, and he had chains in his hand.

He screamed, "Espen! Jiyu! Use all the power you've got and blast me forward!"

Jiyu and Espen looked at each other.

Espen said, "He might be crazy."

Jiyu answered, "Let's just..listen to him. This is our last rocket shot we have since we've used it on falling buildings to protect people."

"..Okay then."

Tek made a wall made of chains form behind his back, Jiyu and Espen flew over to him and shot highly destructive rockets at his back. The rockets increased the speed of Tek's flight, and he was accidently twisting and turning in mid air.

'Alright..alright…there she is. It worked. We cut her off.'

Tek was falling on the ground, and at that moment, he clashed against the running spirit with the violin.

Tek immediately attached his chains to the violin strings, and he was hanging on for dear life as the spirit was still running fast. Tek was doing everything he could to pull back on the chains, but it wasn't slowing the spirit down at all.

'I need to slow her down. Pulling isn't working. Gotta try the alternative.'

Tek looked behind him as he was swinging all over the place, and he saw Nine, Shiryu, Espen, and Jiyu dashing right behind them.

Tek thought again, 'That's it!'

Tek yelled, "Everyone grab on!"

Tek shot chains out to them, and they all grabbed hold of them, pulling themselves up as the spirit woman was still dashing around the city playing the violin.

Tek and the others tried hard to hang on, pulling themselves up.

Tek made their chains attach to the violin, and Tek said to the others, "Get inside of the violin, intertwine the chains, and yank them like you're tying shoes! That will cause the violin to burst!"

Shiryu replied, "Sounds..like a plan. I guess."

Nine answered Tek, "Got it! Shiryu, copy my speed again, we're getting a head start!"

"O..kay.."

Nine and Shiryu pushed off the air with their speed, getting inside of the violin. Jiyu and Espen used the speed from their suits to pull themselves up on the chain, eventually getting inside of the violin.

Tek was pulling himself up fast, getting inside of the violin.

Nine and Shiryu were running circles inside of it with the chains, while Jiyu and Espen were doing the same. The ride was bumpy, and Tek and the others were constantly falling over on the floor.

Espen said, "Shit!"

Jiyu went, "We..we can do it! Keep going!"

Nine replied, "Way ahead of ya!"

Tek was jumping over the other chains while holding other chains, and he turned around to see they were all intertwined like a shoelace.

Tek yelled, "On three, jump out while yanking the chains!"

Everyone nodded as they looked ready.

"One..two…three! Go!"

They all jumped out of the violin while holding the chains. The chains bursted against each other, ripping the violin in half, while Tek and the others were falling down the air, looking back at what they did.

The spirit stopped, and it started to disappear while smiling.

Tek thinks, 'We did it…'

Over where Kin, Duri, and Marshy were, Kin still had Duri in her grasp.

Marshy said, "You'll make everything stop..if I come with you?"

Kin answered, "I promise. And I never break promises. As a queen shouldn't."

Duri yelled to Marshy, "Kill her through me if you have to! I won't let her take you!"

Marshy asked Kin, "You'll leave Duri alone?"

"I promise I won't kill him if you and the other Hosts surrender."

"Fine then. I'll do it."

"Excellent."

Duri exclaimed, "What?! No!"

Marshy could tell Duri was gonna attempt to take off his headband, and Marshy scoffed to him, "Don't you dare do it, Duri. What I'm doing now, is an act to save you and this world from more destruction. Everything will be okay. You just have to trust me..alright? You trust your own mother don't you?"

Duri was silent for a few seconds, looking everywhere else.

Duri looked at Marshy, "Whatever. No matter what, this bitch behind me won't get away with this."

Marshy said to Kin, "Let Duri go.

Kin smiled, "Sure thing!"

Kin pressed down on Duri's pressure point, and Duri fell asleep immediately, dropping to the ground.

Marshy said, "How stupid of you..Kin."

"Who's the stupid one? Don't think you can attack me now just because your son is asleep. I'm the only one who can stop the destruction around the world, taking me down would guarantee an infinite number of natural disasters simultaneously forever and ever. Titans power made that possible."

"Tch.."

Out of nowhere, Xenon, Tetsuya, Kedarah, Sith, Hanako, and Chaos were plopped unconscious right in front of Marshy, and Marshy looked shocked.

Marshy looked at them, shocked as her eyes shook a little bit.

'They're all asleep..who did this to them?'

The 5 Centurions of Harvest appeared between Kin and Marshy.

Kin asked them, "Harvest. Why are you helping me?"

One of the Centurions answered, "We just wanted to lend you a helping hand. Are you not taking the boy?"

"No. I don't want the Angel Titan within my kingdom. I know of Zabel's plans. Taking this boy to my kingdom will make it an easy target for Zabel to come and try and wage war with us."

"Perhaps you have a point. And what was the point of having soldiers if they were going to-."

"You're acting the exact same as when I was on your side, always asking questions about my operation. I needed those pawns to keep the other Hosts from jumping into me and Marshy's battle. I knew this little boy would try and join the fight, I used him as collateral to get my way."

Marshy thinks, 'They're all related to the Harvest situation..and the Zabel situation. Who are these 5 people? They're the ones who put the Hosts to sleep. I can feel the Titan power brimming off of them.'

One of the Centurions turned to look at Marshy, and they placed their hand on her head to try and make her fall asleep.

Marshy just stood there, unaffected.

The Centurion said, "What?"

The other Centurions joined in, and placed their hands on Marshy's head. But Marshy didn't budge.

Marshy said to Kin, "Stop the natural disasters. Now."

Kin smiled, "Alright."

All over the world, the disasters began to slowly stop, some people were even confused, especially Seven and Kei and Kazuma.

Marshy looked around, and she said, "Okay then. Leave earth."

Marshy fainted as she fell asleep, and Kin caught her before she could fall. The Centurions were already gone as well, but Kin didn't care.

Kin says, "Well then, time for me to head out. Though, I should grab Ren-Ren and take him with me. Nah, nevermind.'

Kin lifted all the Hosts up, and she created a portal behind her. Before Kin could walk through, she heard something behind her, turning around slowly.

Duri was slowly standing up, battered, bruised, and blood all over.

Kin said, "How the hell are you standing..? Such an interesting boy."

Duri said, "I'll..I'll..take you down..Kin!"

"Such cuteness. Give it a rest, I've won."

Kin walked through the portal, disappearing with the Hosts.

Duri dropped down to his knees, with his eyes hazy. He says,"Mar…shy."

Duri dropped on his stomach, unconscious.

…

…

…

…

Voel, Xenon's dad, was watching all of this behind a piece of rubble, thinking, 'The seven strongest Hosts were taken by Kin. We're going to need help..a lot of help. Maybe the Judges can help. But why didn't help out when this happened? And they also didn't help during the exam invasion. Something within the Titans is going on, including the rogue Titan giving the enemies powers. Going back to that help, I never thought I'd be going back to the clans for backup…."
