Chapter 75 : National Purge

Duri and Seven were running through all of the destruction, watching the ground split and cave in, witnessing the structures and tall buildings crash on the ground behind or in front of them.

Duri yelled, "I really wanna know what the hell is going on!"

Seven responded, "Me too! Dammit..my parents are lost in all of this, I have to track them. I know I saw them after we jumped off the Ferris wheel, but they're gone. I have to find them, Duri."

"Don't tell me what you're going to do, just do it. They're your parents. I'll catch up with you later..I think. But I need to follow Marshy, she was tackled by that woman that I saw yesterday."

"You really saw who it was? It happened so fast!"

"Yeah I saw. Go find your parents."

"I'm going now. Please..be careful Duri. Don't die."

"..Won't promise anything. YOU don't die please. First girlfriend I've ever had and it would suck to just let the sissy moment we had just disappear in a heartbeat."

Seven tapped Duri on the shoulder, she changed into her Spirit of Wrath form, and she took off to the right.

Duri said to himself, "Now then.."

A giant building was falling down a few feet away, and there were wounded civilians trying to crawl away from it.

"Help us!"

"Someone help us please!"

"I need to get home..to my children!"

"My damn leg!"

Instantly, Duri sped forward off the ground, rushing to the wounded civilians. As he was running, it seemed like the falling building and civilians were backing farther away from Duri.

Duri shook his head to make sure he wasn't going crazy, but he wasn't. The falling building and civilians were getting farther and farther away as Duri was running quickly towards it.

There was so much destruction around him, the ground was breaking over and over, overlapping over each other rapidly.

Duri yelled, "No!!"

The wounded civilians yelled, "Help us!! Please!!"

Duri immediately took off his headband, and he was in his Titan form now. Duri blazed forward again, that alone caused another earthquake around him.

Duri teleported in front of the falling building and wounded civilians, but another building came in at high speeds, landing on top of Duri and the civilians.

It was silent around there, and the energy coming off of Duri blasted the building into pieces in the air. Duri was standing up straight, but the wounded civilians around him were all dead on the ground.

Duri looked at them, and his berserk mode was trying to take over him. Duri held his heart, and he almost fell, gritting his teeth to the point where his mouth was bleeding.

"I couldn't..I couldn't save them..dammit!"

Duri put his headband back on as he was trying to catch his breath. He looked up, and he saw Kin and Marshy flying over him.

Kin was smiling at Duri, but Marshy had Kin by the throat, ready to punch her.

Marshy and Kin zoomed away, and Duri went into his full shadow form, and went after them.

Marshy yelled to Kin, "You killed those civilians!"

Kin replied, "Did you see your son try and save them? I got goosebumps. Haha."

Marshy punched Kin in the nose, and a super loud sonic boom from the attack destroyed some buildings, and Kin crashed through a lot of them, sliding on top of a roof.

Kin was standing up straight, and Marshy was above her.

Kin looked up waving with a smile, "You look angry."

Marshy punched Kin in the top of the head, and the entire building they were standing on exploded, knocking pieces all over the place.

As the rubble from the exploded building was flying all over the place with dust everywhere, Duri was jumping on all of them to try and reach Marshy and Kin.

Suddenly, Zabel started to speak in Duri's mind.

Zabel telepathically told Duri, "Duri!"

Duri replied, "What the hell do you want?!"

Duri was still jumping and flipping on and off expanding rubble, and Zabel replied in his mind, "This woman that your mother is fighting, her name is Kin. She used to be a Host for earth. One of the seven strongest. She has borrowed Titan power."

"No way..what?! That means this is Harvest's doing?"

"She is not with Harvest anymore. She is from the Diamond realm, but born in the Harvest realm. She has tons of borrowed Titan power, and even though your mother is a hybrid Titan like you, she could possibly lose."

"You bastard…how do you know about this woman?!"

"I have a weird medium old lady who can talk to the dead, and I talked to Reborn through her. Kin was a good friend of Reborn when they were in the Harvest realm together. They were best friends, but Kin wanted to be a leader there. They chose Reborn instead, saying Kin wasn't fit to be leader over anything. She was often scoffed because she wasn't born of any special lineage. Reborn always helped her when she was down, holding her hand most of her life."

"And you're telling me this now?! And why are you talking to Reborn?! I thought you two hated each other."

"He is randomly wanting to talk to me about things, he is aware that Harvest is trying to bring him back to life. He says Kin is a major obstacle. There's a Titan out there that has gone rogue and gave her a surplus of borrowed Titan power and energy."

Duri jumped through the smoke, and he saw Marshy and Kin racing through the buildings.

Duri started to chase them, flying right after them while avoiding the catastrophic destruction of the natural disasters around him.

Duri said to Zabel, "Let me guess, like Ferrow, you want me to kill Kin? Newsflash asshole, I'm already thinking that!"

"I still need you for my own goals. I can't let you die by your own instinct which is a gamble in itself. The only way you'll be able to beat Kin is if you take off the headband."

"I don't have full control of it yet! Kinda. I can control it for a certain amount of time, but it's irrational and unpredictable. I could go berserk at any time. I don't wanna kill Marshy, and I don't wanna kill civilians!"

"It's the only way!"

"You selfish bitch…I still wanna kill you for what you did. I don't need your help!"

"I'm trying to make sure you stay alive!"

"What about my mom?! What about Marshy?!"

"She is an experienced warrior. She'll manage. If not..then I don't know what to tell you."

"Get out of my head!!!"

Duri flew forward, and he saw many civilians about to be crushed by falling debris.

Duri made shadow arms come out, and they picked up the civilians and put them in a shadow cube.

Marshy and Kin were choking each other through the air, and Marshy said to her, "You..have borrowed Titan power.."

Kin replied, "Yes."

"Who is the Titan?!"

"Blah blah blah. Everyone wants to know who the famous rogue Titan is, but I can't tell you. Or else he'll take my powers away. I had borrowed power before, but it wasn't enough. I persuaded him to give me more, and accepted. He noticed my potential, as Harvest didn't. And neither did the Hosts."

"I don't care about any of that! Who is the rogue Titan giving you and Harvest borrowed power?!"

"I cannot tell you. But everyone will eventually find out..it's only a matter of time…"

"Only a matter of..time?"

Kin grabbed Marshy's arm, and Marshy's entire body started to move really slow.

Marshy thinks, 'Shit.'

Kin punched Marshy in the stomach, and then in the back of the head, making her fall inside of a body of water.

As Marshy's back pounded in the water, Kin teleported in front of her, grabbing her by the face, and she started flying back into the falling city, dragging her face through everything out there.

Kin said, "I was always kind of jealous of you, Marshy. You are fit to be a ruler. You're so beautiful, so strong; everyone looks up to you. You're such a fucking role model. Hanako and Kedarah are kinda like you. They are both sooo pretty too. You guys must have had fun and rich upbringings."

Kin flew into the air while holding Marshy by the head, and said, "I always wanted to be a queen. I always wanted attention. Reborn was the only one who gave me it..but I hated him the day he sided with the elders, saying I wasn't fit to be a ruler of anything. Saying I was dirt. I AM NOT DIRT. My own parents abandoned me to go to the diamond realm to have their own kingdom, I couldn't go because I needed a powered diamond source to fuel my own kingdom. I was way too weak to kill anyone on my own. But now..I will be a queen. I will force the seven strongest Hosts to the diamond realm, and there will yoh all turn into diamond figures, your energy will power the wealth and strength of my own kingdom! And then..I'll bring that kingdom to earth! Then I'll actually be like one of those villains on your earthly televisions that want to take over the world. I want to be a queen, and the queen of earth. I'll show Harvest how capable of a leader I am! They'll all bow to me! And then I'll-I'll kill them after! I think maybe..maybe I can steal your sun and turn that into a diamond as well! Oh yeah, hehe, I'm doing that! Actually, I don't know if I actually can. I wouldn't know how. Oh well."

Marshy spit on Kin, saying, "Crazy bitch."

Kin's smile went away, and she was about to do another move.

Duri came from the right side with a shadow sword, and he tried to slam it on Kin.

Duri screamed, "Kin!"

Immediately, two large buildings shot up and smashed into Duri. The buildings started to form into a ball, and they still had Duri trapped inside.

Marshy said to Kin, "That shit won't hold Duri."

Kin replied, "Hm?"

Duri blasted out of the buildings, spinning through them with his shadow sword, attacking Kin.

Kin grabbed Duri's stomach, and she crunched down on it with her fingers, making Duri throw up.

Marshy yelled, "No!"

Kin performed a back handed punch on Duri, making him crash on the road.

Kin laughed, "He was supposed to throw up his intestines. But he didn't. He's definitely a strong one."

Marshy was able to move faster, and she grabbed the sides of Kin's head.

Marshy released a sonic boom from her hands, and Kin yelled, "AGH!!"

Marshy turned downward, and she flew towards the ground, smashing Kin's head into it.

A second later, Kin jumped to her feet, and she teleported behind Marshy, placing her finger on the back of her head.

'This should at least knock her out. I know it won't kill her.'

All of a sudden, Marshy was behind Kin now, with two fingers on the back of Kin's head.

Marshy released another sonic boom from her fingers, and Kin's neck and body broke all around, making her crash through a building.

Kin hit the wall inside, and she started making her body go back to normal.

Kin smiled, "How fun!"

Kin blasted out of the building, and headed towards Marshy.

Kin exclaimed, "I love music! Do you like music?!"

Marshy took a step forward, and a giant violin began to grow from the ground. It was standing at 60 feet tall. And a spirit form of Kin was playing the violin fast.

Appearing in the sky, there were smaller versions of Kin in her spirit form, playing smaller violins fast with an action tempo and tune.

Marshy looked all around her, listening to them play.

Marshy had a great pain come to her head, and she held her head, exclaiming, "Ah!"

Marshy's ears were bleeding, and Kin was standing on top of the giant violin.

Marshy ripped pieces of her shirt off, and she stuffed them in her ears, blocking the music out a little bit.

'This music is hurting me from the inside..this is definitely Titan power. And it's not like anything Ferrow had..Kin has more of it! I have to get Duri out of here..'

Rubble and buildings were zooming towards Marshy out of nowhere, and Marshy was dodging them as she ran forward.

Marshy was punching the rubble away, smashing them to bits.

Then, Marshy teleported up to Kin and threw a spinning kick.

Kin dodged it, but Marshy spun on top of her, grabbed her ponytail, and ripping her hair out fast.

Kin screamed, jumping off the violin.

Kin turned around and she clapped her hands, pointed her hands downwards, closed her fists, crossed them, and smacked them together in the air.

Suddenly, all of Kin's spirit forms that were playing the violin started to play louder, and they began to run in circles.

Marshy was bothered, and it hurt her head even more.

Marshy fell to her knees, and she looked over at Duri. Duri was covering his ears as well with his ears bleeding, and Marshy said, "Duri..run!"

Kin zipped up to Marshy and kicked her in the face. Marshy flew across the ground, as the giant spirit forms with the violins played around her.

Marshy stood up, and Kin was already in front of her.

Kin punched her in the face and stomach over and over again, and then grabbed the back of her hair, saying, "Do you like when your hair is pulled now?!"

Marshy replied, "Ask Duri's dad."

"This is no time for games!"

Kin elbowed Marshy in the face one time, and Marshy crashed through another building.

Duri sat up, looking at all the spirit forms, thinking, 'Those violins are what's causing Marshy to lose! This red haired bitch really prepared to fight her. If I barge right in without a plan..I'd just be in the way. I have to take out those violin people. But how?'

Duri struggled to stand up, but as soon as he did, here came Kin with a flying kick. But Duri dodged it, and dashed forward towards Marshy.

Kin looked at Duri, and Duri made two shadow arms form from his back, and they grabbed two giant pieces of rubble.

Duri used that rubble to protect his back, and Kin came up and punched it.

Duri was blown forward, but he grabbed Marshy on the way forward.

Duri and Marshy rolled inside of a building, and hit a wall. They both were drenched with blood from head to toe, with dirt all over them.

Duri said to Marshy, "Marshy..I..I feel like I can only stop her..if I take off-."

Marshy grabbed Duri's arm, "Don't take off the headband. I don't want you to lose yourself. I can't lose you again."

"Then what am I supposed to do?! Huh?!" And what about your Excalibur? You can beat her with it!"

"Kin..she has a great amount of Titan power, that she's able to fight against me. And don't worry..I know what to do."

The bottom of them exploded, blasting Duri and Marshy out of the building and out onto the road again.

The loud violin music kept playing, and it was still hurting Duri and Marshy's ears.

Marshy stood up and ran at Kin, while Duri struggled to stand up, pointing his hands at the violin spirit players.

Duri had a tear drop from his eye, the pain in his head was excruciating.

Duri yelled, "Fuck you!"

Over 20 shadow dragon snakes spread out from Duri's arm, and they went out and tried to destroy the violins of the spirit forms of Kin.

The spirit forms with the violins we're running all over the place, laughing as they avoid the shadow dragon snakes.

Duri was on one knee, bearing the pain in his head, he was trying to steer and direct the snakes with his right hand, thinking, 'Those things are fast..I might..have to draw more shadows out. Those bastards won't stay still..'

Marshy punched Kin up then chin while releasing a sonic boom with the attack, and Kin's back smashed against a wall.

Marshy teleported to her, and headbutted her, destroying the entire tall wall.

Kin thinks, 'Hmm? She's fighting with her brain in pain? And her hits are becoming stronger with each swing.'

Kin slapped Marshy in her chest, making Marshy hit the road, but she immediately jumped up, with Kin standing a few feet away from her.

Before Kin could make a move, Marshy had instantly pulled out her Excalibur, and she was hunched downward halfway.

Marshy took deep breaths, and time around her seemed like it was slowing down, with Kin teleporting to her slowly.

Marshy was hearing whispers and screams in her head, and it was the souls of the people she had taken out with her Excalibur.

Black energy was coming off of Marshy, and her eyes were pitch black.

Immediately, Marshy dashed past Kin with her blade, and Kin's eyes were pitch black now.

Kin thought. 'W-What?!'

Blood splattered everywhere, and Marshy was standing there looking at her.

'Direct hit!'

In Kin's mind, Kin was standing at a graveyard with black tombstones everywhere. And in the sky, the sky was completely grey with black clouds.

Kin said, "Where..am I?"

Kin gasped, as greyish black human spirits began to come from underground, and they rushed to attack Kin.

Kin jumped back, and the greyish black spirits with no face said:

"Join us! Die by the Excalibur!"

Kin thinks, 'Ah. These are the souls of those Marshy has killed with her Excalibur. A strike to the heart with her scythe would place the opponent in a mind domain where they would be trapped in their minds with the souls of those she killed.'

The spirits were trying to grab Kin, but Kin was blasting them away just by pointing at them.

They grabbed her legs, but Kin spun around once, punching the ground, and the force knocked the spirits away.

Kin exclaimed, "I will be a queen!"

Outside of Kin's mind, Marshy was about to finish Kin while she was in her own thoughts battling the souls.

Marshy said, "Gotcha."

Literally out of nowhere…Aki and Tenma showed up to stand for Kin.

Marshy said, "You'll both get shit on with her."

Aki and Tenma stuck their hands out, but their arms were instantly sliced off by Marshy.

Marshy was flipping over them, and she was going to slice Kin in half.

But Tenma slid in the way, and his face palmed Marshy, shooting out a bright flash like a flash bang. Biting Marshy's eyes for a few seconds.

Marshy was stumbling to the right, her eyes felt like it had been pepper sprayed for over an hour.

Tenma said, "My arm. Oh well."

Aki replied, "Huh?! How do you react like that?! OOWWWWW!"

"I'll kill you if you keep whining."

Aki asked, "Whatever. Aye..where did that boy go?"

"He's over..there?"

In the nick of time, Duri blazed through with a large shadow fist, punching Tenma and Aki hard into a tall skyscraper building.

On Duri's other arm, Duri was still trying to guide his long dragon shadow snakes to hit the spirits with the violins.

Duri ran inside of the tall building, while Aki and Tenma charged straight for him.

Aki had black and purple crystals coming from his arm, and he smashed his arms near Duri.

Tenma had acid sweat all over his body, and he rushed at Duri too.

Duri was jumping through multiple ceilings, as Aki and Tenma used their powers to try and make painful and brutal contact.

Everything was getting destroyed, Aki yelled, "Stop running brat!"

Duri replied, "Who the hell are you two?!"

"None of your business!"

"You're with that crazy ass lady?!"

"No!"

"Liar!"

All three of them were on another floor, Duri was running around the office as Aki and Tenma were smashing crystals and acid at him.

Papers flew in the air as walls were being blown away.

Duri's dragon shadow snakes were in the air above the building, still cashing the spirits with the violins. And Duri's left hand guided them.

Aki and Tenma swung at Duri at the same time, but Duri dropped low and did a split in between them, spun up quick, and kicked both Aki and Tenma at the same time, making them crash through multiple walls and onto the outside.

As they were falling, shadow snakes came from Duri's chest, and grabbed Tenma and Aki.

Aki screamed, "Ack! Put me down!"

Tenma didn't say anything.

But he thought, 'This is why Kin told us not to take Duri on with just us two. But..we had no choice.'

The snakes were smashing Aki and Tenma all over the place, breaking them easily.

Duri jumped high into the air, and he made over 70 dragon snakes come out of his hands, and he stuck his hands up high in the air, aiming at the spirits with the violins.

Duri yelled, "Come on! Come on!!! My fucking head hurts!"

More shadow snakes formed, and they eventually wrapped around all the violins.

Duri looked focused, "Steady…steady..tighter..tighter.."

The snakes squeezed on the violins, and they destroyed them, completely shutting the music off, making the spirits disappear slowly.

Duri fell down to the ground, coughing heavily. He looked to the right, and saw Marshy heading towards Kin.

Duri yelled, "Marshy!"

Duri got up on his feet, and made his way over there.

Marshy swung her scythe at Kin, but it was stopped.

Kin was awake, and she was holding Marshy's scythe by the middle of it with one hand.

Marshy gasped, "Impossible.."

Duri said, "She stopped..the Excalibur?"

Kin says, "I almost didn't make it out of there. But..the rogue Titan has blessed me with even more power."

Marshy replied, "No.."

"Yes."

Kin kicks Marshy backwards, and Marshy puts her Excalibur away, thinking, 'Used too much of its power..'

Marshy and Kin were teleporting all over the place, delivering loud punches and kicks with sonic booms that cracked the ground.

Duri watched them, thinking, 'They're moving at insane speeds..I can barely keep up with them..'

Marshy and Kin collided with each other, and Marshy hit Kin across the cheek, breaking Kin's face with a loud sonic boom.

Kin thought, 'I've increased my power..but her hits are still fatal?!'

Marshy flew at Kin, but Kin vanished, and she ended up behind Duri.

Duri turned around, and Kin held the back of his neck.

Marshy looked at them, saying, "Duri! Kin..get away from him.."

Kin responded, "Surrender or I'll massacre this brat. He won't be able to take off his headband in time, that's the only thing he can do to save himself. Hand yourself over to me, you and other Hosts, and become my diamonds so I can become a queen."

"Let him go."

"You're wasting time. The world is facing natural disasters. Floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, landslides, hurricanes, tsunamis, and destruction. As soon as you and the other Hosts turn yourselves in, I'll stop it all."

Duri said, "Marshy.."

(A few miles away)

Xenon, Tetsuya, Chaos, and Kedarah were standing back to back on a tall roof, as hundreds upon hundreds of Kin's followers were climbing up the building to reach them.
