Chapter 12

All his lovers got emotional and started crying, after hearing Jack speak all those cringey lines.

He patted their back and after they calmed down, they all had their dinner. Jack sighed and said in his head "Was lucky this time. Have to find mom fast or else, they will all start thinking I don't care about anyone."

"So, you are starting your island challenge tomorrow then?" Fennel asked and the mood became gloomy.

Everyone were sad that they will be leaving Jack. He wasn't going to take them on the island challenge when he knows that there are idiots with powers out in the open.

They all recalled the conversation they had three days ago....

They were all having dinner when Jack suddenly said "When I leave for the island challenge, only Oleana is coming with me."

Everyone were shocked when they heard that. They all started protesting when Jack stopped them and said "Hear me out. I can't protect more people. If I take all of you, definitely someone will get hurt. I can't see that.

Although Courtney can also help me, it is still dangerous. So, I want Burnet and Fennel to continue to study the Pokemon of Alola and learn about the Z-power. That information can help me a lot.

Viola, Robin and Reiju will stay in the house to take care of them while Courtney will stay here to protect them. I can't risk loosing more people around me."

Although they wanted to argue about it, they all knew that it was the truth and if they insisted on going, they would only be a burden to Jack.

Seeing their gloomy faces, he said "Don't worry. I also can't stay away from you. So, I struggled for three days to hunt down an Abra."

Burnet and Fennel immediately understood what Jack was going to say. Burnet couldn't wait till Jack revealed it. She immediately stood up and asked "Jack, can you really use Teleport?"

He nodded and this surprised everyone. Jack said "It wasn't easy though. Abra immediately teleported to another location by the time I got closer to it. I was running around the forest like a mad dog. But when I managed to get my hands on one, I released all my anger on it."

They all ignored the poor Abra and were happy that Jack could visit then whenever he wanted. Burnet asked out of curiosity "Can you teleport anywhere?"

Jack replied "I don't know much about it. I experimented on it for four hours and found out that if I use the move without any place in mind, I teleport to a random location. If I have to go to a specific place, it should be a place I have been to, because I need a clear picture of the place. So, videos are useless for teleportation."

After hearing this, they were ok with him leaving.

Back to the present.....

Even though they know that Jack could come back at anytime, they weren't happy with the fact that he still will be away from them.

Jack wanted to change the mood, he turned to Burnet and asked "Burnet, how much have you learnt about the Z-power?"

Burnet replied "We asked for all the research papers of the Aether Foundation and from my friend Professor Kukui and this is all that they have or, all that they gave me." and showed some files after clicking on the screen of her watch.

Jack looked at the single file on the hologram screen and before Jack could ask any questions, Burnet said "They both don't knowuch about this phenomenon and all they have managed to figure out is that, both the people and Pokemon of this region are able to gather a little bit of Z-power into their body.

The Z-ring and the Z-crystals are able to channel the energy from a person to the Pokemon holding the Z-crystal. Since the energy in both the Pokemon and the trainer is used, they can't use more than one move in a battle.

This is a similar process like the mega evolution. The stones also channel the energy from the trainer to the Pokemon holding the stone."

Jack was processing all the information he got from Burnet, which was the information he forgot from the game.

In all the 15 years he lived in the world of Pokemon, he forgot a lot about the original game and the story. He just remembered the important parts. The only reason he remembers the rest is because his thinking ability and his brain was also enhanced by the system as he levelled up.

But he can't depend completely on that, as a lot would have changed due to his presence and there could have been changes to the storyline by the developer of the rom hack.

He processed everything that he heard and a smile appeared on his face. He murmured "Time to bring out all the knowledge and enlightenment obtained through Wuxia novels."

They all heard him, but couldn't understand what Wuxia novels were. They decided to ignore him and started talking among themselves about something.

So, while Jack was recalling all the wisdom bestowed upon him by those Wuxia novels, the ladies were discussing about something with various expressions on their faces.

They all finished dinner and Jack immediately went to his room and sat cross legged on his bed and closed his eyes.

Jack had read a lot of Wuxia novels and the things he learnt about cultivation from them was enough to get him to invent one in real life.

Since he knows that there exists something like energy in this world, he was willing to try it out.

He coused his eyes and tried to feel the energy. This was the basic step in any mana or cultivation related world. They all revolved around the concept of absorbing energy from outside, so Jack speculated that it might work.

He sat like that for an hour, before he lost feeling in his legs. He opened his eyes and collapsed on his bed. He said to himself "The method I am trying should be wrong, or it just takes a lot of time to learn." and sighed to himself, trying to motivate himself.

That's when he heard a knock on his door. "Who is it?" Jack asked and Robin replied "Master, are you busy?"

"No, come in" Jack replied and Robin entered the room.

She was wearing a bunny outfit and she wasn't alone. After her, Viola walked in wearing the dress of an Arabic dancer, Reiju wore a school uniform, Fennel wore cat ears and had a cat tail, Burnet wore Pikachu's ears and tail, Courtney wore the clothes of a teacher and finally, Oleana wore a maid dress.

His legs immediately returned to normal and he jumped up from his bed. He asked "Ladies, what's with the sexy outfits?", with his brother threatening to tear his pajamas.

"Well, since you are leaving tomorrow, we decided to give you a farewell." Viola sad, shaking her hips.

"If I get a farewell like this, I am ready to go somewhere everyday." Jack shouted and everyone chuckled.

Jack enjoyed his farewell that night and he woke up the next day, ready to leave for his adventure.

All his lovers were outside to give a send-off to Jack and Oleana. Burnet said "Jack, my friend Professor Kukui is in his laboratory and he asked me to send you there. He wants you to give you your starter."

"I already have three Pokemon. So, even if I get one, I can't call him my starter." Jack replied and she said "Just go there and tell him that. My cousin Nessa is also there, waiting for you."

"Why is she waiting for me?" Jack asked and she replied with a smirk "She is a model and is a huge fan of you and your movies. Just go meet her for me."

Jack sighed and agreed. He was just going to meet her, get the Rotom Pokedex from Kukui and leave.

The reason he wanted the Rotom Pokedex is because of a feature of the system that he still didn't unlock, the Roto loto.

Although the name sounds ridiculous, it is an amazing power to have. It was another feature in the game and it lets you draw special power ups like, increased exp, increased money, attract wild Pokemon, repel wild Pokemon, make eggs hatch faster, boost stats of Pokemon or, increase odds of catching Pokemon.

It is an amazing thing to have with you. He received the location of Professor Kukui's lab, which is also his house.

It wasn't far away from Jack's house. Jack lived in the city while Professor Kukui's house was 5 miles from the city.

Zeraora and Litten were inside the Pokeball while Riolu sat on Jack's left shoulder. His Riolu had grown pretty close to Jack in just a week.

As he and Oleana were walking away from his house, they met Malva, who was walking towards his house. "Are you leaving for your island challenge?" Malva asked.

Jack nodded and said "Yes, how did your investigation go?" he asked.

"Didn't find anything useful. Just a few wild Tauros wrecking havoc. Well then, I am more interested in hearing what you will do to Alola in the future." Malva said and also waved to Jack as he left.

Jack looked at the map in his watch and saw that his destination is 30 miles from his location. That just proved how big the city was and how small they showed it in the game.

He turned to Oleana and asked "Oleana what do you think? There is a bus that can drop us on Route 1. We should be able to walk from there to his house. Or, we can try something new."

Oleana replied with the usual emotionless tone "I am fine with anything Boss wants." with a slight blush on her cheeks.

She was really happy that she got to go with him. Jack selected her as, she will be managing the business and she was also a trainer in the past, but something happened to her, which made her give up on being a trainer.

She still had her Pokemon and they were strong. So, he trusted that even if he was in a bad situation, she can protect herself.

Jack then walked to a stable, but here they had Tauros instead of horses. It was a place to rent Tauros for touring or travels.

You can take them anywhere and then deposit them in any Pokemon centre and deposit them into the PC.

They are trained by their owner that even if left in an unknown place, they will try to go back to their Stable.

Jack rented one and climbed onto it. He looked at Oleana, who looked at the Tauros and Jack could tell that she was afraid.

He looked at her, stretched out his hand to her and said "Trust me on this. It will be fun."

She nodded as she felt a sense of safety around him. She took his hand and climbed onto the Tauros, sitting behind Jack while Riolu took the front seat.

She wrapped her arms around his waist as she pressed her chest against his back.

He felt her warmth and they both started their journey. Jack knew how to ride them, as he learnt it for a movie. So, there weren't any problems along the way.

As they road across the city, with cool breeze hitting them, Oleana slowly lost her fear and was enjoying the feeling. She loosened her arms around Jack and felt the wind against her face as her hair danced with the winds.

They stopped for lunch and continued their journey. They arrived at Professor Kukui's lab/house a little past noon as they deposited the Tauros in a nearby Pokemon center and walked to his house.

When they got to his house/lab, Jack knocked on the door and he could hear many sounds from the house.

Then the door burst open and a woman ran out, following her were a few Pokemon and a man.

The woman had dark skin and hair with some strands of light blue and some dark blue. She wore a white top and blue shorts, with a few accessories and a glove on only one hand. She was Nessa, with whom he spoke in a video call.

The man was also dark skinned, with a little beard. He wore a lab coat and was shirtless, only wearing a pant, which covered till his knees. He was Professor Kukui.

They both coughed as the smoke from the house continued to come out, driving out more Pokemon out of the house.
