Chapter 7

It was 6 in the morning when Tye woke up to an odd chance that happened in his bed, Bedivere the Azurill evolved into Bedivere the Marill said Bedivere was too busy swishing about his tail that was swirling with water to notice Tye that was blankly staring at him.

He sighed as he checked the school-issued Pokedex, other than being a regular Pokedex, it also allowed teachers to send news and announcements to students, usually, there wouldn't be anything except for the rare statement, such as the Club registration and etc.

There was a notice for a Chapel gathering for all beginner class students for an important announcement, sent by the Director, to Tye it was surprising to see the Director's name again since he hadn't seen him since orientation.

After getting to the Chapel, Tye saw it was a lot emptier than before, it was only the center that was beginner students, but it was still a large group of over a hundred students since the beginner students make up the majority of the students in the school.

The beginner class teachers were on the stage sitting down on plastic chairs, Director Simon stood behind the podium as he set up the microphone.

"Good Morning, students and teachers, I hope you all are doing well in this new school year, and I hope you all are doing well in your classes and extracurricular activities."

"Beginner Class students, 3 days from now, three of you will have a choice between 3 Pokemon from a different region, now that is a problem there are 137 students in my Beginner Class, and there are only three slots, so I'm come to a solution, in 2 days there will a be a whole day tournament of simulation battling, beginning at 5 AM and ending whenever the winner is decided."

After the main announcement, it was another 2 hours of other news, such as a new textbook about Pokeball engineering, increased prices of bread, lowered prices of Water, etc.

----------------

Walking back to his room, Tye suddenly gains an idea, pausing in front of his room door, he took a breath and let out his Aura, with a technique, the mixture of the basic techniques TEN and Ren, using Ren expanding his Aura to cover his room and using TEN to shape it into a sphere, allowing him to be aware of everything happening in this area.

In his room, things were normal, except for two spots where Area wasn't present, two vague outlines of Lancelot and Bedivere were present as they walked around with their Zetsu active.

Tye smiles as he returned his TEN to his neutral state and entered the room.

Gaining the attention of the two Pokemon as he entered, "Alright, some good news."

Bedivere ran up to his arms as he picks him up and Lancelot stayed in his spot as he paid attention.

"Alright, we have the next two days free, there will be a tournament after said two said, if we get in the top 3, well possibly get a new teammate, depends if I'm willing to train them, but we will try our hardest here."

Lancelot looked excited as he jumped about, disturbed in his Zetsu, Bedivere looked wholly confused about what he just said, and then it hit Tye that maybe he didn't know what a tournament was since it's only been two weeks since Bedivere have been with him, and in an inclosed place, news from the outside was very rare.

"Don't worry about it, you'll see what this about two days, so for now, we will be spending these two days, training, 8 hours sleep for Bedivere, and 5 hours for Lancelot, the rest training, since this will be a simulation tournament, we'll be raising your experience so to say."

"But first, the 3rd basic technique of Nen."

----------------

With the hologram set up and ready, Tye began teaching.

"Ren is increasing the amount of aura that comes from your body, basically you take TEN and then you make it into Ren, in that, you envelop your body in a shroud of Aura and you exploded that aura out explosively."

A diagram showing this appeared on the hologram.

"Mastering Ren is important to any Nen user, when training Ren you increase your amount of aura over time since you need a deep pool of Aura for high-level Nen abilities, any Nen user worth hair on their body is a master of Ren."

"But the problem is that explosive outpouring of Aura is incredibly exhaustive, for humans you need to train Ren every day for a month to increase your Nen output by ten minutes outside of combat, this is because in combat Aura is always lost, there is no one in a fight and losing no Aura in the exchange."

"If TEN is a shield then Ren is a sword, but Ren also helps with your defenses, since you will have more Aura to apply to any given area to block an attack more effectively."

"Ren can also be used to spread your intentions to others, you the term 'Bloodlust' isn't actually real in a sense, since every living being can instinctually sense Aura, and everyone has Aura leaking out of them, their emotions affect their Aura and that feeling is spread to others that sense it, so bad feelings and good vibes are the product of instinctual nen use."

"An experienced Nen user lines their Ren with malicious intentions in order to impart their will onto others, but this makes it incredibly easy to track, but Ren that isn't lined with malice is basically invisible, if a Nen user uses Ren on a non-user, there is a high chance that they will die, so don't"

"I'll do a demonstration of regular Ren and malicious Ren, brace yourself."

Tye widened his legs and set himself into a stance, his TEN became visible as it explodes outwards, slightly pushing back Lancelot and Bedivere, he gave a look as they nodded to the invisible question.

If one were to look through Lancelot and Bedivere's perspective, one would see Tye's color growing dimmer, the clothes he's wearing turned from blue to close black, his green hair shined a lot less, and his green eyes mimic the shade of black.

Just as fast as the change happen, Lancelot was on the ground completely knocked out, Bedivere was stiffer than a lightning pole, and no amount of stimuli could get a reaction out of them.
