Chapter 10

(A/N: I don't want to put this on a cliffhanger since chapter 11 is too long, Want to begin the tournament Sunday, so here's an extra chapter.)

Just as Lancelot was to aim a kick to the center of his chest Tye palmed his mid-section with just enough force to stop him in the air without blasting him away another swift overhead strike caused him to crash into the ground and then bounced off as if he was a rubber ball.

Once again in the air, Tye gave a knee kick that sent Lancelot bouncing off the ground a few feet away, expecting another round of attack Tye stayed where he was analyzing the movement of Lancelot, it took a few minutes to realize that he was entirely knocked out,

He sighed to himself as he looked toward Bedivere who looked to be slightly rested, he then looked up at the sky to see that the Sun had barely moved, it looked to be around 5 to 4 hours left until sunset.

He then looked toward Bedivere as he said, "Look alive, you've rested enough."

Bedivere nodded as he sprinted forward, completely giving up on the idea of using Bounce to close the distance from personal experience and the display that just happened, his tail swirling with water swung towards Tye who blocked it with it slightly pushing him back.

The combination of various factors such as a high power move of Aqua tail, Bedivere's ability of Huge Power, the same type bonus, and rotational energy led to a powerful move that can be used more than once.

But with such great force also brings about an equal pushback, Bedivere was flung back by his own force but shrugged it off as he landed perfectly.

Without wasting time he jumped towards Tye again as he swiped with another Aqua Tail but instead of taking the hit he sidestepped it as Bedivere moved past him, taking this opportunity he used Bounce and dashed.

Dodging the rebound, Bedivere bounced again as he dashed towards Tye at the greatest speeds as this dance of bouncing and dodging went along til Bedivere was nearly a blue strip zipping across the field.

Having enough of this Tye simply kicked Bedivere out of the air and he was sent flying across the battlefield, with pained groans Bedivere slowly got up as he ran towards Tye, his fist glowed a slight pink, punching his way through he landed a hit on Tye's shin but it didn't do much.

As he was about to swing again a swift kick sent him a couple of feet away and he landed with a thud.

-----------------(Five Hours Later - 5:30 PM)

'Where am I, why is everything so blurry?'

In the scene of a ball of blue being kicked away, he would be worried about the said ball of blue but this scene happened so many times that he became numb.

Once again Lancelot tried to use Ren, his Aura flared to life, but it was barely a spark, barely coming off of his skin, but non the less he still tried, as his Nen sparked and flickered, his eyes became hazier until he lifelessly fell on the ground.

'Come on, please move...'

The scene around him changed to that of a forest that ended on his cliff, and the familiar scene of him and his sibling beginning to argue on which direction to go played back.

'Again, how many times did this happen...'

"Right!" "No, Left!"

A familiar dark figure appeared behind the two before the scene spontaneously changed to that of them waking up to several figures of the pieces surrounding the adults of the family.

'Mother, Father, Grandfather, Aunts, Uncles...'

Before he could take another step, the scene changed again, to that of his falling down a cliff, on top of the cliff was another sibling of his being impaled by the same figure from before.

But unlike the dozens of other times he had been shown this scene, he was falling he was suspended in mid-air, his breath began speeding up, his chest tightening.

'Rine, If I don't do something they'll be gone... again.'

The scene continued in slow motion as the ghostly blade impaled the young Riolu..

'I don't want to lose them, I don't want to be away, I don't die...'

'Life, once it's gone, there's no getting it back, it's the only thing that's absolutely unique.'

The scene changed once again, to that just before he fell down the cliff, him standing behind his brother with the figure marching forward.

'Tension and fear are making me stiffen up, if I don't move I'll die,'

'I'll be killed, and once I'm dead, it's all over.'

The figure started sprinting as the motions of being pushed fell into play.

'Am I just a coward, am I going to let this end without doing something?'

As he fell the scene went farther and farther, he continued falling with a stop but didn't hit the water below.

'What do I do, what can I do?'

'I've used up everything that I have, there isn't anything left.'

"So what can I do?"

Survival Instinct, is the phenomenon that pushes any living being to continue with life, normally its the usual compliance to not do anything dangerous, don't touch fire, don't eat rotten food, don't jump from a high place, don't dive into the water, don't go around that corner.

Survival Instinct comes in many forms, but once a living being is pushed to its limits, their very life on the line, their instinct all that's possible and strives to do the impossible to continue living.

With this, Living beings are able to continue fighting even if all their limbs are ripped off, they barely have a spark of energy or even nanoseconds before death, using all nutrients available, energy is deprived from all other parts of the body and focused on those that are necessary to continue fighting.

'What is the fear of death giving me?'

The scene around him changed into that of the dorm room, the scene of Tye using Ren, and a wave of pressure washes over him.

'Not yet, I can't die yet, I'll go on, beyond death, I'll go even further, I'll continue fighting until I live!

Lancelot stood up as he smiled excited to go on even further.

'I feel like I can go on forever!'
