43 The Selection Again

Austin finished a mission after speaking to Philip. He then went to sleep a little excited about the selection. The only thing that annoyed him was he had to move out. He and Philip clicked but they could not say in here taking care of the rookies. Philip decided to move in with Tobi. The two were really like brothers. Tobi was also introduced to Philips family by Philip. They felt reassured that Philip had a good big bro to take care of him.

Philip was happy that his previous estranged relationship with his family returned to normal. He kept sending money and visiting when he could. The money helped the family a lot although is was little.

Austin wanted to move out but he needed his own place. He started to look online in the trainer district for empty plots of land for sale. The best he could find was an old empty house for sale at the edge of district nine. District nine was pretty far from the trainers district. The problem was he didn't have the money to buy it. He could have the house demolished and build a two floor condo. The would give him a small living place and decently sized yard.

He decided to help the city with the first phase. The people hated Pokemon and trainers. It made it difficult for the government and the league to get along. The government did try to solve the issue but it didn't work. Austin felt the people living in this world think too simply or at least in Asadia. He might be to help with a few solutions. He made sure they were simple and won't cost much at the same time practical.

Austin then left to visit Hugo and Ginnette. He hated going but Ginnette gets scary when he ignores them. The group of five were seated together with an amazing meal in front of them.

"This is awesome everyone from our year survived the ordeal and became D-class trainers. If we keep this up we will reach the A-class in no time." Philip said as he drank his juice.

"Honestly I can't believe we survived this long. Congrats guys. Also who is ready for their C-class, both Ginnette and I plan to take it soon." Hugo chimed in.

"I'm not ready yet, my Persian is good but I want the rest of my Pokemon to also become a bit stronger. I also need to get them to have better team work." Philip said.

"You guys are ready to take it. Why didn't you take it and get it over with?" Jacob questioned.

Ginnette responded, " That because we want you to take it first. You basically did everything first in our group. We want to continue the tradition."

Jacob laughs and said, " You just want to see if I'll fail first." This causes everyone to laugh.

Austin just shook his head but had a smile on his face.

"Austin you have to learn to speak more, it's annoying seeing you just nod all the time." Ginnette began lecturing.

Austin again nodded showing that he agreed with her. Ginnette could not help but facepalm herself. Jacob and the guys were laughing. Hugo and Ginnette made this gathering to distract Jacob from the selection.

Jacob was stressing too much. The group then got the news that the selection ended and there were 8 candidates. When Jacob was going to ask who was selected. Hugo said that his brother was picked again. In fact the word picked wasn't used rather volunteered. This made Jacob shocked.

"Seriously Jacob you did't see it how the little brat was so excited about Pokemon. Also how he kept asking you to show him your Pokemon." Hugo said.

"Ya even your mom knew, you should ask her as she has a bigger understanding." Ginnette said.

Austin who never spoken a word today said, " It was very obvious as that brat is similar to me. He likes Pokemon, despite what going on now; it still doesn't change the fact that humans and Pokemon once lives together in peace. Just don't be hard on the kid or you'll just make him nervous on the day of his ordeal." The group were shocked at the fact Austin spoke and a good amount of words at that.

"You should see him after his orientation. Also don't freak out, Pokemon aren't that bad. Thanks for the invite but I need to go see the gym leader now:" without waiting for them to recover Austin left as if he was never there.

"Well that Austin sure explained it clearly. Also we were fine Jacob so the Ordeal might also turn well for Bobby (Roberts nickname)." Ginnette comforted.

"He might die though! I think the best thing for you to do is to give him all the info he should watch out for and prepare him. We will help too. Yet that austin did say something right don't stress him or make him nervous." Hugo said.

"Thanks guys I'm going to call my mom. I'll see you in a bit." Jacob said after calming down.

Austin made his way towards the gym. He entered the gym and asked for the leader. He was told to wait for 30 minutes as the leader was in an important meeting.
