44 “Solve Your Problem”

"Hey annoying little Austin. You actually remembered to visit me. What can I help you with kid?" Muliere said.

Before Austin could answer, Muliere suddenly spoke,"oh have you come for your C-rank promotion test?"

Austin then answered, "Although I am ready, I won't take it now as I have other things to do. When I'm free I'll take it." Austin paused a bit then spoke again," I actually need something and I know the league and government of Asadia need something. You guys have what I need and I have what you need."

Muliere mused as he stared at Austin. This kid is always smart and knows when to act. Muliere wondered what he wanted. "What is it that we the league and the government needs from a 15 year old brat."

Austin take a deep breath and begins, "This is gonna be tiring. Ok I'll start the background before coming to the city's situation. Since the City-States formed, all of them faced the same issue as decreased amount of trainers and hatred of the civilians. The ones that become trainers are usually plagued by this hatred.

The ones that are trainers risk their lives to protect those that hate them. This in turn causes most trainers not to take their missions seriously. This leads to occasional accidents and tension between the government and the league. The government tried several expensive project that were useless. Due to the obvious uselessness of the plan, the government failed.

The league also tried their best to help trainers cope but with it but couldn't heal the scars. I have 3 simple cost effective methods to help. Muliere could help but admire this brat. He is smart and did his research. He may truly thought of a solution to the problem. The issue was how could something be solved by a little brat. It couldn't have been solved that easily. The other thing Muliere thought was the kid had an appetite. This property was for sale since people hated trainers. The price was something Austin could not afford. Land with in city-states are also expensive. On top of that he wants them to build him what's in the blue prints.

"How would I know that you truly got a solution? Something many people much older and more experienced couldn't solve. You have done your research and if I didn't know any better I would have thought that you were an old man." Muliere says.

"The reason I was able to find a solution and those old experts couldn't is very simple. I'm just better at seeing things. I am not old just smart and did my homework. The seven great city-states never needed to worry about this issue but most of humanity has to. You tried to apply the methods of these seven states when in essence it won't work. Most people in the seven city-states are trainers. The people who are rich and powerful are from Pokemon families like the Dragon Family and Oak family.

You tried to do something totally different. The city-State of Asadia was built because many villages and small towns nearby gathered here in the half ruined city. The rich and powerful are mostly Commoners. The Commoners will hold the hate of Pokemon for a long time. The pain they felt is embedded in there bones. So obviously everything that those City-States did won't work.

Now my methods are much better and more cost effective. With it the number of trainers in this city that holds almost a million citizens will definitely double with in 3-5 years. That's obviously more than the struggle for the past 30 years." Austin sneered at Mulieres reply.

Muliere was actually shocked and when he thought about what Austin he had to agree. He couldn't understand why no one saw this giant flaw. Now he was reeled in and Austin waited for his reply. " ok kid I'm interested before you speak let me gather a few people we'll go to the big meeting room."

An hour later Austin and Muliere went to the meeting room. When they entered they saw many people Austin also recognized the governor. She made the speech during the selection. Everyone gather held some weight in the league or government. Many people began to complain to Muliere for asking for a meeting out of the blue. Most of the S- rank trainers were present.

Muliere took about 15 minutes to explain everything Austin told him. When they realized the mistake they made the people looked at Austin in new light. Austin was the secret of the powerful people in the city-State. If they can get another S-rank then they can have more assurance to survive any raids.

People from the government really didn't want to meet Austin's demand, as they don't believe a kid can see all this. A vote was taken and the final verdict was that if the method works and is cost effective then Austin will get his property.

Austin with a righteous look on his face said, "You guys have made the right choice. It may seem to you that I am joking but once you hear me out you will know. You will know I have the solution to your problem."
