The Pokemon Hunter

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The entire forest shook from the shockwaves of Tyranitar's wrath. Countless pokemon can be seen trying to escape from the forest. This attracted brave trainers who went to the vicinity of the battle to investigate this issue.

They already speculated that a battle between strong Pokemon occured in Viridian forest, which scared the rest of the Pokemon within the forest, causing a Pokemon tide.

Normally, the nearest gym-leader would investigate the cause for the Pokemon tide. However, the Viridian City Gym leader has been absent for a while now.

Naturally, there would be Pokemon trying to escape to the northern border of Viridian Forest, Pewter City.

This attracted the attention of its Rock type Gym leader, Brock. He then went to Viridian City to investigate the cause of this issue.

At this time, a tan-skinned man with spiky hair can be seen walking in the vicinity of the battle. He wore an orange shirt with a green vest and brown jeans.

'Just what is it that could have caused the tide?' Brock thought to himself as he frowned.

Rustle! Rustle! Rustle!

Suddenly, he heard footsteps that seemed to be heading towards his direction. He then reached for his pocket and grabbed a Pokeball. He then saw three figures that appeared to be two young men and a silver haired girl.

"What are you still doing here? Get out of the forest now!" Brock angrily shouted as he scolded the three for being stupid enough to stay within the vicinity of the battle.

It was at this moment that Corin's eyes lit up when he saw Brock's figure. He immediately recognized him.

'Brock!' Corin shouted inwardly as he looked at Brock's figure. He didn't expect to see this famous figure in this forest. However, they heed his words and started running once again away from the battle.

Brock looked at them as they started running when he noticed the girl holding what seems to be a Pokemon egg. He suddenly thought of something and eyed the kids with suspicion.

"Hold on. That egg you're holding. You can't be the cause for this rampage, right?" Brock suddenly stopped them as he pointed at the egg Chelsea was holding.

The three kids then stopped as Brock had said and looked at him.

"Tell me you didn't steal something you shouldn't have" Brock said as he eyed them with suspicion.

"Of course, we didn't" Folker retorted. He then looked at Chelsea and eyed her as if asking 'Should we tell him?'

"It's okay. We can trust him" Chelsea said as he looked at Folker and nodded in approval.

"There was an injured Tyranitar who was hunted for its egg by a Pokemon Hunter. It seemed to be weakened because it just gave birth so it didn't fight back that much" Folker replied, trying to explain himself as he looked at Brock.

Brock still looked at them with suspicion when his gaze landed on the girl's figure. He then looked at her closely and found her familiar.

"You seem familiar. May I know your name?" Brock asked as he looked at Chelsea.

'Ugh. That's Brock, alright. But come on, isn't she about the same age as us?' Corin complained internally.

"We've met before in Pallet town when I was younger" Chelsea replied politely as she looked at Brock.

"The one from the Professor's Lab? Alright, I'll take your words for now but you have to explain more later" Brock replied as he turned around and walked to the direction of the battle.

'It seems I was overthinking it' Corin thought as he sighed in relief. He would've been disappointed if Brock actually flirted with 12 years old girls.

...

At this time, an intense sandstorm surrounded a large part of the forest. At the center of the sandstorm is a large, bipedal, dinosaurian Pokémon with a green, armor-like hide covering its body.

It looked at the fainted figure of a piscine Pokémon with a long serpentine body covered in slightly overlapping scales. A man then recalled Gyarados back to its pokeball and ran away.

'Damn! I shouldn't have recalled Gyarados earlier' the man thought to himself with regret in his eyes.

Tyranitar let out a loud roar that shook the entire forest.

"Tyranitar!"

It then vigorously performed a mystic, powerful dance with dragon type energy, [Dragon Dance]. Immediately afterwards, it rampaged towards a certain direction as it attacked the man.

Pink light surrounded the man, allowing him to dodge Tyranitar's attacks. At the back of the man is a slightly humanoid Pokemon with a large mustache and spoons on its hands..

It seemed to be the Pokemon controlling the man's movements, allowing him to dodge unnaturally.

Suddenly, Tyranitar let out a loud roar and set its eyes on Alakazam's figure. It then charged towards Alakazam's figure.

When the hunter noticed that Tyranitar eyed another figure, he suddenly had a bad feeling. He should have been happy that Tyranitar chose to ignore him, which should have been his chance to escape.

However, when he realized Tyranitar's intentions for doing so, he suddenly had a mystical feeling, as if time slowed down for him. His figure froze for a while until he heard a loud crunch.

His panic suddenly died down when when he looked back, he saw Alakazam's figure that seemed to be missing a head.

"Tyranitar!"

The monstrous being chewed on something and swallowed it. It then let out a loud roar once more.

It was at this moment that the sandstorm seemed to have ended miraculously.

Tyranitar turned his gaze towards the hunter and stared at him with hatred for a few seconds.

It then quickly charged at him but for some reason, he saw Tyranitar's every movement, as if the scene slowed down.

He looked back at his life, it wasn't particularly a tragic one. Sure, there were a lot of struggles, but who doesn't have them, struggles? He understood that part, at the very least.

He became a hunter to make it big in life. When he saw a weakened Tyranitar with an egg, he thought he would make it big. His day couldn't be any luckier when he saw Riolu, Kirlia, and Zorua along with it.

Memories from when he was born flashed in his mind, replaying them slowly, as if he had all the time in the world. It replayed everything until his mind suddenly blanked out.
