The Gym Opening

Laila POV: -

It is been a few days since the battle between me and grandpa, after that we went to the Pokémon center and healed our Pokémon.

And today is the day I open gym to the public and start accepting challenges from young Pokémon trainers. The whole town is here to congratulate me for the opening. So, I sincerely tell them.

"Thank you all for coming giving me your best regards but this is also an opportunity for our town to expand our customs and let the town become one of the tourist attractions so that we all benefit from this."

After I say that everyone gives me deafening claps and praises. With that some people celebrate by drinking and some start to eat.

There are even few young children having a Pokémon battle in the training field. It was my Idea to let them have Pokémon battles so that people can be entertained. Then I give them a few pointers on how to use their Pokémon moves correctly to all the children.

Even Nurse Joy is here to congratulate me. So, putting on a small smile I go and talk to her.

"Nurse Joy good to see you again."

"Aaa little Lai good to see you again."

"Are you enjoying the party?"

" Enjoying all there it has to offer. Little Lai I just remembered how you have grown to a such beautiful lady; you even have your own gym. I remember it was just some time back you when you were crying and running to me because you scratched your knee and now you run a whole gym and battle all kinds of Pokémon. *sigh* how time passes."

Says Nurse Joy while sighing and teasing me.

I fluster and yell back at her.

"Nurse Joy!!!!!!!!! There is no need to bring that up now. Stop before I start ignoring you."

Laughing slightly at me she says.

"Okay okay, I'll stop now just teasing you a little no need to be angry."

"Hmmp that's what I thought, now there is some where I should be now so catch you later."

"Alright say hello to your grandpa for me."

"Right I will."

With that I say goodbye to Joy and start to enjoy he celebration.

The party continued till Evening 4 o'clock till everyone started to go home giving me their regards and saying goodbye to me.

Now the real guest arrives because I invited Grandma Agatha today for the opening.

Since we exchanged our contact information, we kept in touch with each other. Yesterday I received a message from her that she will be free today and come look at my Pokémon.

Just as I was wondering when she will arrive, I hear a loud noise in the sky. When I look into the sky to see what it is, I open my mouth wide looking at the helicopter which is landing in front of me. From the helicopter Grandma Agatha comes out and looks at me.

"Aaa Laila just who I was looking for, Now show me where your Pokémon are alright. Hmmmmmm?"

Seeing that I was still not responding and looking at her with my mouth agape she comes and shakes me a little by calling out my name.

"Laila!!!!! Laila !!!! halloo, are you listening to me?"

Waking up from the sudden spur, I answer, still being amazed seeing the beautiful black coated helicopter.

" Yes!! Grandma Agatha. Let us go they are back at our home."

"Alright show me the way, I'll follow you."

After reaching the open field of my house I call out for all my Pokémon and release the one is in my pokeballs.

"Okay guys come on out all of you."

A wide range of Dark type Pokémon come's into our view.

"Umbreooon "

Surprised seeing this much wide array of Pokémon and in such great condition Grandma Agatha praises me.

"Great Pokémon!!! it's not every day you see these many Pokémon in such fine and good condition." saying that see starts to go and want to have a closer look, and I say.

"Well it took me six years to look out and raise them, I treat each and every one of them as my family. Most of them are which I caught when they are still young so all of them have close bond with me and some of them are Pokémon that I personally hatched from their eggs. And also, Grandma Agatha the younger Pokémon are in the back yard still playing with my grandpa."

"Good.... having a strong bond with your Pokémon is an essential trait that all Pokémon trainers and masters should have, otherwise it will lead to their failure as a Pokémon trainer. And also, did you say you live with your grandpa?"

"Yes!! when I do not have enough time to take care for all of them it's my grandpa who looks after them. Most of the Pokémon here are also taken care by him. I would be absolutely doomed if not for my grandpa. He is also one of the main reasons I train so hard, so that he doesn't have to worry about me and so from now on I can take care of him."

I tell her crying a few tears drops emotionally thinking of the days Grandpa raised me and took care of me all alone even though we are not blood related.

"Don't need to cry, you are strong, and I can tell that from how you took care of your Pokémon And I'm sure he will be happy you grew up in his lonely life. "

"Yes, Grandma Agatha he is very happy." I smile while my eyes are still wet.

"Okay now let's see the Pokémon more closely."

Then I command my Pokémon to do. "Okay guys you heard Grandma Agatha now line up, she is going to see every one of you closely."

Grandma Agatha starts looking at them.

"Hmmm nice silky fur, bright eyes, nice dark color and very healthy. A fantastic Umbreon." saying that she moves to the next Pokémon.

I praise Umbreon by rubbing her head and giving a berry." Good girl." and she starts munching on it happily.

"Now quite sharp teeth, good bone condition no cracks, nice horns. A good Houndoom, and next one"

"Hmm smooth fur, sharp teeth, bright eyes, flexible body an excellent Mightyena."

"Oh, a Shiftry quite uncommon, pointy nose, nice large mane, healthy leaves. Good Shiftry."

"Now what do we have here a Sableye. Hmm large ghost and dark energy, shiny eyes it has no cloudy surface and also energetic. A strong Sableye. I like this one very much." my Sableye suddenly come forward and investigates Grandma Agatha's shadow.

As I was also looking at her shadow, Grandma Agatha laugh's slightly and tells us.

"Quite perceptive you both are, aren't you? "

"Okay Gengar you can come out now."

Then suddenly a huge Gengar comes out of Grandma's shadow and starts laughing creepily.

"He he he he" and waves his hand at us like he is saying hello.

My Sableye goes forward and says hello to Gengar and then they both run of to play somewhere.

"Ha ha ha my Gengar is very mischievous and likes playing a lot so don't worry about your Pokémon."

"That's what I'm worrying about grandma !!! my Sableye likes to prank people a lot, and before I caught it, it even pranked me. Now Gengar is also with it, I worry for the people who fall for their schemes."

I say worryingly.

"Don't think too much about it, just let them enjoy." with that she moves to my next Pokémon. I let out a silent prayer for the people who are about to become their victims.

"Okay now deep red color, strong claws, shiny star and very hard outer shell. A very strong Crawdaunt."

"Oh, Absol another unique Pokémon. Nice silky-smooth silver fur, strong paws, healthy teeth and sharp blade. A very beautiful Pokémon, you took good care of it."

" Okay very pointy beak, beautiful feathers and sharp claws. A magnificent Honchkrow."

"Oh, another ghost type. Hmmm it has quite a large amount of ghost energy in it, its body is large for its type and has a strong body too. This is a Good Pokémon a Spiritomb."

"Aaa a poison/Dark type, Oh a shiny one too interesting. A very strong sting tail, a nice deep red/pink color, strong body and pincers. Laila your Drapion is a monster. "

"A Weavile!! Okay sharp claws, bright red crown and healthy, good."

"Nice slender and flexible body, good muscles in the paws, and graceful. A beautiful Liepard"

"Oh, a Krokoodile, menacing deep blue eyes, very strong claws, and quite a big strong tail. Very nice. "

"Oooooo a Scrafty. Good strength and muscles, good leg strength. A strong Pokémon."

"Another rare Pokémon, Laila you have a knack for catching rare strong Pokémon. Lustrous fur, a very large comfortable mane and also good muscles. A very strong Zoroark "

Like this she appraises every one of my Pokémon and praises me for taking good care of them. And I repeat what I tell to my Umbreon to every one of my Pokémon and give them a few snacks to enjoy.

"You have a very high range of Pokémon in great condition Laila. I did not imagine seeing this much from a young trainer like you. Great work."

"Thank you, Grandma Agatha, for the praise but we took good care for each other not just me. And also, we are a big family, so we have look out for each other. This is the least I can do for them and that is to take good care of them."

As we are talking suddenly a voice calls me.

"Little Lai-"

We both look who it is, and Grandma Agatha suddenly yell's-
