15 Pokemon Tower

23rd December, 1994

Kanto Region, Lavender City:

Knock Knock!

Red knocked on the door and the door open, the warm air from inside the house blew on Red and he let out a sigh.

Mia Elbert, His aunt had bobbed brown hair and blue eyes. She was a bit taller than Red, and she was wearing a long green gown.

"Red, It's nice to see you again," Mia said while dragging him inside and closing the door behind him.

...

Red slurped on a cup of tea, seemingly enjoying the sweet brown liquid in the cup. He sat at the dining table with Mia and her husband, Nate.

Nate was a young man with matted brown hair and brown eyes, He was a bit bulky and less athletic than Red but still he had that look of pure annoyance in his eyes as they landed on Red.

Red on the other hand contemplated why he was even here in the first place?

"Red, I heard you got your first Pokemon this year and got Top 10 in the exam," Nate said with a smile, "I'm very proud of you,"

Red rolled his eyes and continued sipping his sweet cup of tea.

"Why am I here?" Red asked bluntly, His aunt loved him but she wouldn't actually call him all the way to Lavender City right before Christmas for nothing.

"Awwn, You could have had some more tea first," Mia said, "but you're right, My husband wanted me to call you over,"

Nate rolled his eyes.

"Red, I heard you became a trainer and we needed some help," Nate said, "The Pokemon tower has been undergoing a bit of changes and the ghost Pokemon there have been becoming more and more aggressive for some reason,"

"Yeah, My highest level is LV. 14, I doubt I would be of much help to you," Red said.

"Oh come on Red, I can tell you a bit of information for this," Nate said, "Like Elite 4 Agatha is at the top of Pokemon Tower,"

Red's eyes widened as he heard that and then a certain Ultra ball started rolling around his head...

"Fine," Red said while drinking down his tea and running off.

...

Pokemon Tower:

The Pokemon tower was located on the Northern side of Lavender City, the bustling metropolis next to Rock Tunnel. It was about 6-7 floors high and the top floor was said to hold the strongest amount of Ghost energy in the entire tower.

There was an unspoken rule about burying very powerful Pokemon at the top of the tower, perhaps that was why the concentration of Ghost energy was pretty high at the top floors.

The land on which the Pokemon tower stays on was owned by the Lianda family, The ghost type experts of the Kanto region.

Footsteps could be seen heading to the Pokemon Tower as a boy in a black trench coat walked to the Pokemon tower.

His feet stood strong in the snow and his determination on a whole new level as he stood in front of the tower, the grave site of dead Pokemon and suckled in a rush of cold air.

"Riolu, Here I come," Red said as he pushed open the door.

...

The motivation of Red can be defined as nothing short of amazing as he combed through the spooky 1st floor of Pokemon tower.

The floors in Pokemon tower were made to be very wide, so wide that they would be able to contain hundreds if not thousands of bodies on a single floor.

Red found himself sweating as he arrived at the 2nd floor.

Getting past gravestones was nothing short of annoying but Red had done it... only to enter another series of Gravestones.

The moment he took a step forward, He heard an eerie laugh and craned his head to the right.

Behold two beams of Ghost energy came into view... Red felt adrenaline pumping as he shot forward, narrowly dodging the attempt on his life.

With a flick of his wrist, He sent out his Charmander who let our a fierce roar as he appeared.

"Use Flamethrower!" Red ordered.

His opponent was the ghost Pokemon, Gastly. It wasn't like this Pokemon was known to be dangerous or anything, It was a ball of negative energy. Gastly was a dual affinity Pokemon carrying the Ghost and Poison typing.

Charmander's tail glowed in a raging red flame and then lunged at Gastly, His mouth releasing small torrents of flames as he spat a flamethrower at Gastly who felt the full impact of the attack and was sent flying into the wall.

Red detached an empty Pokeball from his waistband and threw it at Gastly who was incapacitated.

...

The 2nd floor was a strange floor, For some reason, A gray mist spread across the entire floor, The ghostly energy permeating in the air could be felt all around as Red gritted his teeth.

"It's gonna be a long night," Red said to himself.
