16 Elite (4) Agatha

24th December 1994

Kanto Region, Pokemon Tower:

The 6th floor of the Pokemon tower held a massive amount of Ghost type energy and Red entered the floor.

His right fist clenched as he stared ahead.

"Alas, These grave stones are so annoying," Red said to himself, So far the only thing motivating him to go to the final floor was seeing Agatha and convincing her to visit for Christmas although that would be impossible, that didn't mean that he would give up without trying.

Red walked past the gravestones, His face showed his perfectly calm demeanor. Beside him was a Charmander pushing his chest out in pride.

The last day had taken a toll on both Pokemon and trainer but they finally made it to the 6th floor and we're almost to the 7th floor.

Red still hoped Agatha was there as a chance to get a Riolu wasn't something he would just throw away. After all, It was a very rare Pokemon from Sinnoh and one of his dream team Pokemon.

With his sheer willpower, He continued going even without food and water. Pokemon on the other hand were stronger than humans so being able to endure a day or two without food or water wasn't that much of a problem.

Red finally reached the top floor of the Pokemon tower and he fell to his knees, Charmander on the other hand was urging him to get up. The top floor had a high amount of ghost energy, after battling several recurring Gastly in the lower floors, Red understood that they were angry for some reason.

The top floor wasn't as wide as the other floors and actually it was pretty small compared to the other floors.

Red could see the center of the floor and he could see Agatha, the woman with white hair and wearing a purple gown, In her right hand was a staff...

In front of her was the probable reason why the ghost Pokemon were aggressive, A Gengar sat in a meditative posture, It was sucking the ghost energy in the surroundings.

"Umm, Miss Agatha," Red spoke up and the woman turned to him, At that moment, Red saw Gengar cut off it's connection from the ghost energy and then turn to face him as well.

He was freezing under the stare of one of the most powerful trainers in the entire region and her Gengar... even Charmander froze.

"Gengar... Stop scaring the boy," Agatha said, Gengar vanished.

"Now Boy, What are you doing here? I thought I told everyone that I was going to suck the excess ghost energy from the Pokemon tower," Agatha said, "Even if you're a traveler, You shouldn't risk yourself like that. Also you're lucky that you didn't face any Pokemon more powerful than you or you would have died,"

After hearing her words, Red realized that his life had been hanging on a thin rope... His Aunt's husband had just attempted to try and kill him, His aunt probably didn't know about it or she wouldn't have helped him call me over.

"Boy!" Agatha exclaimed, raising her voice a bit higher, "So your uncle tried to kill you, huh?"

Red's eyes widened, Did she just read his mind?! Undeterred by what she had just said, Red stood in place and returned Charmander to his Pokeball.

"Yes, but I came here again of my own accord," Red said with a slight bow, "Prof. Oak promised me a Riolu if I was able to convince you to come to Pallet town for Christmas,"

At that moment, Agatha chuckled.

"So you're one of his Aides, Pretty strong Pokemon for a person that devoted his life to Pokemon research," Agatha said.

"No, I'm not an aide," Red replied, "I'm an aspiring trainer working with Professor Oak,"

"Oh, Then I guess I better come to Pallet town," Agatha said with a shrug, "We'll make it there tomorrow morning, For now, I want you to show me what you can do,"

"But my highest is LV. 15," Red said, "I have no hope of standing against a trainer of your caliber,"

"I'm going to use weaker Pokemon against you of course," Agatha said, "Now I want to see what my husband sees in you,"

The sun rose in the sky the next day as Samuel quickly had a cereal breakfast and was preparing to leave the house after of course, wishing Daisy and Blue merry christmas.

But unluckily for him, his worst dream appeared.

"Hoho, It's been such a long time since I came to the house," Agatha said as she suddenly appeared in the living room where Samuel was putting on his shoes, Blue and Daisy were also in the living room doing their various chores.

Their mouths flew open and they opened even more as a black haired boy with crimson eyes wearing a trench coat that was blowing in the seeming wind appeared next to her.

"My Riolu," was all the boy said.
